Ransomware group Rhysida takes credit for Lurie Children's Hospital cyberattack

  • On Wednesday, officials at Lurie Children's Hospital would only say they are aware that Rhysida is claiming the attack, but would not give details beyond that. But a post on the ransomware gang’s "data leak" appears to make the terms pretty clear. CBS 2 Investigator Megan Hickey reports.

    Despicable. My son is a cancer patient there and the impact of this hack on patients and families is horrifying and in some cases life threatening. Pure evil.

      The hospital doesn't think your sons life is worth 60 bitcoins.
      Lots of evil blame to go around.
