I think every boy handled stupid questions in his own way, Harry was always nice and polite, Louis and Niall always tried to see the funny side (like in the questions about relationships or celebrity crush) and made fun of it, Liam always answered what he could. Zayn didn't answer much but he had defended Harry a few times.
It's so sad that seeing Harry with anyone who is a female instantly meant he's dating them. It must have been so hard for him to go through that while being that young AND while struggling going through the change of working in a bakery to being a huge celebrity. I can't even imagine what must have been going through his head. He's such a strong human being.

I don't think I've ever heard a bad word about him, people everywhere he goes gush about how kind and humble he is. He's definitely a great role model, and if young girls have in mind that they will not settle for someone who is less than what Harry is, that's wonderful. He's a wonderful human being, and while I am older, I appreciate him so much for the person he is. If my daughter was looking up to him, I'd absolutely encourage it (she doesn't care about boys, she's too immature for that just yet, her 16 years old autistic brain hasn't reached that point yet). It's sad that the media made him out to be someone he's really not to the general public, only those who take the time to find out who he really is, will disregard that bad image that is being made of him. The world definitely needs more people like him. He's beautiful inside and out.

Harry's family is great so it's no wonder he's like that, he was raised very well. His sister Gemma is loved by the fandom for a reason, like Harry she's a really positive light in people's lives. Fans often joke (well no they're not even joking sometimes) about wanting Anne as a mother, they even asked her to write a book about parenting hahaha. This whole family is super nice it's refreshing.
I’ve been around the music industry for a long time and there is so much that people don’t know, it’s insane. The media AND social media fabricated a version of Harry that just simply was NEVER true. It’s always sad watching what they did to him bc he is the exact opposite of what they made him out to be. I’ve watched a lot of things happen, I’ve seen first hand what that does to a person and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. The truth will come out, about lots of things but the fact remains that Harry is that genuine guy, that one in a million person that you’ve only heard bits and pieces of their life. He is that one person that is truly amazing in every aspect.💫
Regarding your question about how the other bandmembers felt about that, they seemed really annoyed with it and it was really obvious just by their body language. Especially since Harry's the youngest they kinda felt the need to protect him, at least that's what Liam said. Most of the time they weren't really talking about it bc as you said, it's better to ignore it bc if not the media is gonna twist it. Zayn did step up to defend him once tho! When an interviewer called him a womanizer, Zayn said "no he's a nice guy" then turned to Harry and said "It's alright man, I know the real you." It's a really wholesome clip and I'm surprised it wasn't in this actually.

Harry and Taylor both were painted as the people they weren't and Taylor has mentioned it in a lot of songs from 1989 how media destroyed their relationship by constantly putting them down and spreading false information

This males me incredibly sad. Can you imagine being a sweet and loving 16 year old, having it spread all over our TV screens that you're a womanizer? Because yes, this is exactly what happened and I'm sure Simon Cowbell did nothing to stop it. Actually pretty damn sure he encouraged it. He was a 16 year old boy and if you watch interviews and stuff from around that time, he was very cheeky but also a little bit shy. I cannot imagine how he felt.

It’s unbelievable how he has grown up and become a very calm person like he is today (thanks to his mom and meditation). Some celebrities just lose themselves after years of being treated like this, which is sad to see. His two latest interview with Howard Stern and Zane Lowe just show how mature he is. I’m years older than him and I have to admit this young man has much more patience than me. Btw, I’m glad that now he looks so carefree hanging out with someone he likes. Thank you for this. I'm old now, but when I was young I was attractive, intelligent, talented and successful. Accordingly, there were always rumors that I had slept with a teacher or boss, as if I couldn't possibly have gotten there on my own merits. I had a bubbly personality but I quickly learned to shut it down to avoid being called a flirt. I commend Harry for being able to remain open and honest and true to himself after all he's been through. He's a very grounded and lovely person and if I ever have a chance to meet him I won't ask for a photo or autograph or anything from him. I just want to tell him thank you for being such an inspiration with his words and deeds and bringing so much joy to so many people with his music. I saw him last month in Milwaukee and he was absolutely magical.

that clip of Liam acknowledging how rough Harry has it sometimes really gets me. Because most of the time things are really great for harry, and a lot of people wouldn't think being labelled a 'womanizer' is a problem. But Harry hates it, and I'm glad the guys knew he didn't like it.
The boys all had their own problems to deal with. Though Harry’s image as a womanizer and a guy who dates older woman has stayed with him even to this day. Especially now since he’s apparently dating a woman 10 years older than him.
During the one direction days though it was easier to make stories about his womanizer image because their management literally approved of such questions and had articles written about whenever he’s out with a girl (as a pr stunt to promote them blah blah blah). And he was always in the spotlight while now he’s always hiding somewhere unless he has to do a pr walk (be seen in public and call the paps, as “promo”) or he’s touring/released something new and is promoting it. He’s very private otherwise. Though his relationships do seem to always get a spotlight, so I guess some things haven’t changed…

He IS dating Olivia, the "older women" thing was a problem when he was too young, but he's almost 28 years old. He's an adult who can make his own decisions and dating a woman 10 years his senior with two kids is a sign of maturity and commitment on his part. The way the media spoke about it when he was younger was as if he was fetishizing older women, but that's clearly not what's happening here. Also most of Harry's friends are even older than Olivia. He's a very mature guy so surrounding himself with older people makes perfect sense, and his dating life is just part of life. Other than Olivia the only big age gap he had was with Caroline Flack, and that was grooming, not a relationship. Other than that he dated people within his age range 2-4 years older tops, which nobody would bat an eye at if it was a woman dating older men.

Am so proud of Harry ......he took all the best things and moments he'd experienced in 1D and use that to further his solo career. Niall did it. Louis is doing it. Liam needs better management and love and Zayn needs THERAPY to work out how to be grateful and humble.

To me, it seemed like the boys where a box full of puppies just tumbling over each other dealing with puberty, fame, and just everything you could throw at them. When things settled a bit and they matured they became brothers in arms and that's a pure love. I was a singer song writer and I started to watch these boys on that level and I am in awe of how they have dealt with everything as a band, as songwriter's,and as individuals. I am 71year woman and I love these boys with a fierce protective pride because they deserve no less. Thank you for doing such a respectfully price.xx
‘A box full of puppies’ describes them so well. They were just having a good time and doing their best to entertain people and had to put up with these constant invasive and insensitive questions. They were still just kids for a lot of it and some of these interviewers should be ashamed of themselves.
I feel like this also must have been hard for him since he has spoken about not labeling his sexuality and having people claim he is a womanizer while he’s young and figuring out what he likes must have been so frustrating

Regarding Ed Sheeran talking about the 'pizza scenario"...he said that Harry gets written/talked about negativly about his love life all the time but they don't know what he's like. He does things like one time he spent like $1500 or something of his own money, bought pizzas and handed them out all day to homeless people...and told no one. Ed wanted people to know that so he told about it.

Harry's image is a delicate topic to discuss. Even during xfactor, bootcamp he had this womaniser image. I can understand back then because it was fun and whatever reason. I did defended him. 13 years later and well established singer yet same parade with women and all his fans always defended him never questioned him, not even once. Still blaming management, these women or media? What disturb me the most is he is almost 30, and his mom defended him for his shaving head not for womaniser as 16 years old boy. He dated 32 years old woman when he was 16/17 years old. I mean... Don't get me wrong I do love all these 5 boys... Just a copy of copy of copy...

I am sick of people putting Taylor’s 2013 VMA Speech in these videos or saying we are never getting back together is about Harry they are not. In that clip Taylor was getting a award for I knew you were trouble from red which came out in 2012. I do not think any songs on Red are about Harry just Jake Gyllenhaal. Not to mention 1989 didn’t come out until 2014 which is about Harry.
Don’t get me wrong, some of the ‘rumoured’ relationships were real as is his current relationships with Olivia Wilde but a lot of it was fabricated. Now that he’s older there seems to be a lot less speculation regarding relationships. The last lot of rumours have turned out to be true…Camille Rowe is a model he dated for around a year (Fine Line is about their relationship) and he’s now in a relationship with actress/director Olivia Wilde, he’s been with her for a over a year x
I don’t believe any of his relationships with women have been true. He “dated” Camille so that people would think his FL album was about her. They started “dating” just before he went on tour and broke up about just after the tour ended.

Also, the excuse that he might not be ready to come out could very well be true however, he doesn’t need to date women. He could date a man and still not come out, he could stay single and still not come out. You either believe that Larry is real or believe him to be gay, so would of course refute any relationships he’s had with women. Your agenda is keeping you from seeing what is right in front of you. Most of Harry and Olivia’s sightings have been from fans and bystanders, considering they’ve been together over a year, there isn’t that many pap pics. If it was a fake relationship, they wouldn’t be spending all this time together in private and certainly wouldn’t be going on holidays together in private, which they’ve done multiple times. Maybe when he’s married to a woman (perhaps Olivia) and has her children, you’ll finally believe what is in front of you…but perhaps not, what with ‘Larry being real’ and all that!!

I don’t think any of his ‘relationships’ with women/girls have been real since he was in the x-factor. Why do you think he was given the false narrative of being a womanizer and Niall, who always said he was single in 1D interviews was left alone? They would ask “who’s single” and when Niall would answer it was almost like - that’s nice Niall - but with Harry they would always imply he was with all these women. Alan Carr joked to Louis they needed a turnstile at their shared house for all the women he was sleeping with. They wrote articles that he had slept with over 400 women by the time he was 17. They pushed the womanizer image so hard you have to ask yourself, why?

What we do have as evidence and fact is that Harry has dated women and we know he’s currently in a relationship with Olivia. You choosing not to believe that is fine but at least there is tangible evidence that backs this up. You have no evidence whatsoever, just a theory, which it will stay until proven otherwise🤷🏼♀️

He tweets ‘afraid of the dark and the dentist’ which also has the line ‘can’t think straight I’m so gay’. He wears a shirt with ‘but Daddy I love him’ from an LGBTQ+ company. The tag says ‘this shirt makes you look gay’ and when fans comment on this he still keeps wearing the shirt. He reads signs at his concerts that say ‘I’m gay and I love you’ or ‘I’m gay and it’s my birthday’ and pauses after saying “I’m gay” with a smirk on his face. When singing Golden he says “I’m hoping someday I can be open”. If he is 100% out then why do we never see him date men, only women? He grinds on men, licks whip cream off them, thirsts over them in concerts and interviews, leans all over them when he is drunk, tells Niall “don’t knock it until you try it” about having sex with a man. I don’t think I’m going to change your mind and that’s fine. You can believe that what you are shown about him dating is true and I will believe he is gay and in PR relationships. Harry did say in a 2014 interview that he has a secret he just isn’t telling anyone. Maybe one day he will.
The video is just so sad. If you’ve seen his show for the VS Fashion Show, you can see how well mannered and how much of a gentleman he is. I’m only a new fan of H, but how he was treated during 1d days, even today, is just so unfair and evil. I love that for the real fans, the womanizer label did not really stick to him
