I honestly don't think his "I've been to the darkness" comment was about the retreat. I think it was more about the darkness of being in a bad slump and you're self esteem is in the toilet.
Every qb that goes to the jets ends up being average or sucking. Even Rodgers a future hof isn’t an exception to that rule. There’s something deeper going on with the jets and it doesn’t have anything to do with Rogers “antics” or whatever the media calls it. That’s the least of the problem.
Or maybe the Jets just make bad decisions lol like betting the franchise on a 40 year old QB coming off of an Achilles injury who hadn't won anything substantial since Obama was president 😂😂😂
@ I wouldn’t blame it on age, the guy can still make the throws and has performed better than their last couple qbs who were younger, Zac Wilson, and Sam Darnold. He isn’t doing horrible but looks average compared to what he was in GB, this is his worst season so far, Brady won a Super Bowl at 43. Had Rodgers went to a better ran franchise like the Steelers he’d be contending for a Super Bowl last year and this year and you know it. There’s something up with the schemes, coaching, ownership, culture, plus that field/ stadium is crappy. Probably even more to it than that, but to say it’s because Rodgers is washed idk about that, jets is just a bad franchise for a qb just like the bears.
@@AmericanWears What contending did he do in GB? Again maybe it's actually the fact that Rodgers isn't a good/winning player and when the situations were catered to his success like not being a leader and or not having to worry about being the center of attention he thrived but the minute he's asked to go change the culture of a franchise and be a leader in one of the biggest markets in America he's failing Could Rodgers win on the Steelers sure but most players could in a good organization with a good culture ppl like Tom Brady and Peyton Manning real winners they create culture

People are uncomfortable with how Rodgers acts because they don't see athletes as regular people but as entertainment while they sit on their butts getting fat. Truth is, many people act that way, and no one cares. If he hung out with half his haters, they'd change their minds about him and think hes a cool guy. 60 years old, Packer fan. Having started my fandom with Dan Devine and watching them lose horribly until Mike Wolf and Reggie White showed up 20 long, losing years later. I appreciate what Aaron Rodgers did getting all those NFC north championships and the Superbowl, unlike the generation behind me can understand. Following a legend like Favre and actually surpassing him as a QB (just look at the td to int ratio) was amazing to watch. If he's quirky, so what? So am I. He didn't crap on GreenBay when he left either. It was time for him to leave, and both camps should be fine with it. I also didn't know he took a 35 million dollar paycut to play with the Jets. That surprised me. We'd have more Superbowls if he had done it here. The one beef I had was when he and the team did not come out of the locker room to take the field during the national anthem on OUR field in the NFC championship game basically surrendering our turf and leaving Tom Brady out there looking like Captain America. They lost that game and deserved to lose that game after that nonsense. But I wish him no ill will today and look forward to his Hall of Fame induction as a Packer.
As a Jets fan, one thing that surprised me was that his first TD to Garrett Wilson was the first time in his career he had thrown a TD to a receiver picked in the 1st round.
It still blow my mind when they choose Aaron Rodger’s over Lamar Jackson smh they really chose a 40 year old on the backend of his career rather then trading for a 26 year old in the middle of his prime wow you can’t make this shit up
Nobody did less than more than Aaron Rodgers. Complete frontrunner who folded up like a lawn chair every single season after that magical SB run in 2010/2011
Rodgers couldve easily cleared the air by telling reporters his side of the story. They hear one side from the organization and then follow up with players to ask for their side of the story. He constantly refuses to do this, then reporters put out what they have and he disputes it
It's because Rodgers doesn't respect his coaches and thinks he knows better than them. He is a great player, but he needs coaches to put the team in the best situation to win. Also, he vouched for his friend to be OC but he was not a good OC.
It's clear as day. When he was in Green Bay, he used to do the same thing with Mccarthy and Lefleur(who were actually good offensive coaches). We all know he is responsible for Saleh getting Canned as well.
@@Billabongbabalog He is a great offensive coach, not just a good head coach overall. He has 10+ seasons of his offenses ranked at least top ten(Aaron Rodgers playing a big part). Don't let what the cowboys are doing now fool you(Cowboys were within the top 5 the prior three years). A sorry coach could not do that.
“… and who was feeding (Dianna Russini) this information will absolutely shock you towards the end of this story.” ??? Did you mean we’d be shocked because you wouldn’t tell us who it was? 😡
Face the facts. The Johnsons are the dark cloud of this franchise. AS LONG as they own the team, we aint winning NO SUPER BOWLS. We have to do something as FORCE THEM to sell. Look how the White Sox fans did after their team had the worst record in MLB history (41-121).
5 of 8 NYJ losses this year are by 1 score or less. 2 of them by a single point. This team is a tranwreck but they were soooo close to being a superbowl contending team.
The cowards are taking shots at Aaron Rodgers now huh? I never liked him but these people are pathetic. They turned on Russell Wilson as well. But now that he started winning again they disappeared. But now it's Rodgers turn.
Weird how much the story of Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre almkst align. Both waffled on retiring, both got traded to the Jets, both had a buzz when they started then fell off hard towards the end. Lets see if history repeats itself and the Vikings get a new QB and almost make the Super Bowl but someone throws a last second interception 😂
I love Aaron Rodgers. Serves them right for the way the Jets treated Favre. I hope Rodgers comes back either to the Jets or another team and balls out.
As a lifetime Broncos fan --------from the very beginning, 1961--------I so remember when I learned that we had traded for Russell Wilson . And while I wasn't thinking SB's, I did believe he'd lead us to the PO's where anything could happen. We'd draw even with KC, & once again, be a force in the AFC. Well, as we all now know, that's not at all, what happened. Compounding that, was the disastrous hire of Nathaniel Hackett, though once again at the time, we all felt as if we had scored a real coup, getting him. George Paton et al, had gone through a thorough interview process, & Hackett had dazzled everyone, so before Jacksonville could even talk with him, he was hired to coach The Broncos. WELL ! We all know how that 2022 season went , & so, both owner Greg Penner & George Paton went looking for The Big Dawg at Michigan , thinking he'd be the answer . Well, as we now know, Big Dawg thought about it, & then, said " NO " . Penner himself, flew to Michigan again, to try once more & came away empty. So, it was Sean Payton who------though initially wanting to remain in L.A., decided to come to Denver on a 5 year deal. OK. So now, we at least have a successful, experienced HC, but who comes at a VERY heavy price : a 1st & 2nd RD pick. So, once again, management & owner agree to bite the bullet, pay the price, & get Sean. SO--------we had Sean & R.W. ---------and now we know, just how THAT, played out. After a trying season, RW was benched, then released, with my team taking a record 85 million $ cap hit, 55 million of which was taken for this, the 2024 season. HOWEVER, we did have the 12th pick in Rd 1 of the draft ! And, lo & behold, Sean et al, got the guy they wanted, & now--------NOW --------with a successful draft, & key FA signings, we are once again, in the hunt for a playoff spot, with a 1st YR QB who is making us all forget the long, LONG, struggle to find one, & a team able to make us contenders for certain, once again. So, if The Broncos could do it --------------------------------MJL, 78 y/o
Jets fan here, unfortunately. I was one of the few who really wanted Carr over Aaron when the leaked photos of him at dinner with the team came out. I often wonder how different all of this would have been, considering another report came out that JD wanted Carr over Rodgers, but woody made him fold. With the defense playing how it looked, I was convinced we just needed a slightly decent QB and we would make a run. Then the heartbreak 4 plays in. It feels like it will never work, and I'll legit be dead before I see them win a ring. It's just a never ending shit show, and will never change with that clown at the top. Oh well..time to see what other top 10 draft pick whose career they can ruin is available this off-season.
Should’ve extended contracts for the team’s play makers. Should’ve traded for Adams early in the season. Should’ve never fired Saleh. The Jets were 2-3 at the time. Poor decisions by management has led to the team’s losing record this season.

Was Mike Wolf Ron Wolf’s brother? 😂
As a Jets fan, one thing that surprised me was that his first TD to Garrett Wilson was the first time in his career he had thrown a TD to a receiver picked in the 1st round.
2:15 in hindsight this is hilarious asf lmao couldnt stop laughing. 2:36 Rodgers looking like that Rat that gets his friends whacked😂 😂
Ego will trip up even the most talented and powerful people who ever walked the Earth. What’s worse is even it drags down everyone around them
WOW GREAT FRESKIN VIDEO!!!! 🎉
Finally a good perspective on this team. I don’t understand the Rodgers hate but everyone is entitled to an opinion.
24:27 😂Why is he wearing that giant necklace ? 😂😂come on.🤨
The Jets put all their hopes on a playoffs quarterback and got an Old Geezer with a Diva Status!
It still blow my mind when they choose Aaron Rodger’s over Lamar Jackson smh they really chose a 40 year old on the backend of his career rather then trading for a 26 year old in the middle of his prime wow you can’t make this shit up
"Hard Knocks"is a menace to the sport.
Rogers is the living embodiment like a CGI avatar for the dunning-kruger effect.
"Hey you guys are stupid I've read like 8 books the day for 40 years"
Rogers getting injured first minutes of playing is Jets curse
For some reason people thing the jets have been good yet they haven’t even sniffed the playoffs over the years
Nobody did less than more than Aaron Rodgers. Complete frontrunner who folded up like a lawn chair every single season after that magical SB run in 2010/2011
There is a common denominator of failure at the Jets... And it existed before Rodgers ever stepped on the field in Copenhagen Wintergreen 😂
Really makes you step back and appreciate the owner of your team..despite some of her shortcomings, it aint this level
Never forget: you can't spell arrogant without Aaron.
Mr. Aaron Rogers can still play in NFL. Hopefully he returns for 2025-26 season.
I don’t believe the report!
Rodgers couldve easily cleared the air by telling reporters his side of the story. They hear one side from the organization and then follow up with players to ask for their side of the story. He constantly refuses to do this, then reporters put out what they have and he disputes it
I blame him for the dropped balls....😂😂😂
It's because Rodgers doesn't respect his coaches and thinks he knows better than them. He is a great player, but he needs coaches to put the team in the best situation to win. Also, he vouched for his friend to be OC but he was not a good OC.
How do you know?
@@Taylor-pr2bybecause that's what he heard somewhere on the internet.
It's clear as day. When he was in Green Bay, he used to do the same thing with Mccarthy and Lefleur(who were actually good offensive coaches). We all know he is responsible for Saleh getting Canned as well.
@edwinbowles2 Mccarthey is not a good offensive coach.
To watch this video you’d think Diana Russini had more control over this season than Aaron Rodgers
“… and who was feeding (Dianna Russini) this information will absolutely shock you towards the end of this story.” ??? Did you mean we’d be shocked because you wouldn’t tell us who it was? 😡
Thanks for mentioning it - thought I must have missed something! I hate this stupid clickbait 🤬
Rodgers is a first ballot lock in the Douchenozzle HOF.
As a RAIDER fan I absolutely love this 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hes probably still high off that damn trip 😂
As a Vikings fan keep him around for another year. I’ll be right back my popcorn is done!
Aaron is the only person who would use “9/11” to refer to the day he tore his Achilles. 😂. What an ass.
Remember 9/11 the day Rodgers suffered a major injury.
Or would you feel better if I virtue signalled for ya.
Aaron don't care, doesn't need to. SHOW ME THE MONEY!!...and he's gone..
Is that why he took a $35 million pay cut? 🤣
😳 Jets made Todd Downing the OC???This is “Raiders” level silliness 😂.
All the media allowed this, Rodger’s just being Rodger’s
2:08 somebody please check in on this man. 😂
😭
At this point, woody got Rodger’s to sell tickets and jerseys. Then dump the team. To re-build. This sounds like a reboot of Major league.
Moral of the story is, you have to be on drugs to decide to play for the NY Jets.
He is an idiot off field
He's a idiot on the field too
Jets fan here, unfortunately.
I was almost feeling bad for AR and then watched all the shit he's pulled and once again feel like it's couldn't happen to a more deserving guy.
