I watched the video 3 year ago. But still I made all these mistakes. Now I learned from those mistakes and I am on right way. Now again this video is recommended by youtube. 😁
The way you narrate the ideas is EXCELLENT sir,I have followed most of your videos. Have started investing in shares confidently with out greed ,willing to wait for years....
Absolutely Vijay .I for one just did what you said about 30 years back and lost almost every thing but was saved by just one stock which wiped out my looses. But from then on never ever ventured into buying individual stocks.stock market friends ,investors always talk about their gains but never about their losses which may be most of the times.
These mistakes are normal.. 1. Trusting always Mr marker instead of doing fundamental analysis 2. Buying a stock based on daily news 3. Daily watch the holding stocks performance 4. Buying a stock means We are part of a business
Superb sir... nice initiative which required for current situation. The stock management approach is almost inline. Even I never been sold any stocks since I bought. Also the compulsory allocation 50percent in index investing that I am having more than 3 years. And follows the SnP 500 from NFO.

Thanks for explaining clearly. Can you please make a video on how to conver MF and shares to NRI account while being abroad and how to convert it back after settling in India. With zerodha it is offline process and with Kuvera they used to say to close all existing and start new NRI account where we will loose old Investments. Will this conversion works in same way for OCI card holders also as they will renounce Indian citizenship? Thank you for your other explanations too.
1.Index funds in india deliver around 12 percent CAGR in the past 20 yrs Is this a good return? 2.In countries like Japan index merely gain 4 percent CAGR in the past 20 yrs How to find a right index fund as returns greatly varies from developed country to developing country? How to invest in periods like STAGFLATION?
1. If you ask me 12% return is good enough - but then its personal preference. It is definitely better than holding on to cash. 2. Developing country in general grows more and faster than a developed country and so the stock market gains. But it will be lot more volatile than in a developed country. We cannot totally go by what happened in the last 20 years. But we can definitely use it as a guide. Between 2000 and 2008, emerging market including India was doing great. After 2009, US market is doing lot better. Stock market growth comes in spurts. No one can predict when the next spurt happens. So it is always better to diversify across regions and also to stay invested rather than worried about stagflation. When we get into "What if" analysis, the possibilities are endless. I like to keep things simple.🙂
First you if plan to buy 100 shares, then immediately make your mind for 50 to buy and another 50 to wait. Once it's goes high & high no problem, then wait for the recreation and put the balance 50 that this go high. Or else If after 50 goes down wait until it touches bottom.
Beginners investing and focusing on Diverfisied portfolio also leads to danger becoz if one share not perform well you sell all the other shares also which is in profit. So, beginners take only 1 or 2 not more this

Pls rpy me, am waiting for ur valuable advice to improve my life,
For 25 years for holding period, I would recommend just these 3 to keep it simple and straight forward. 1. Nifty 50 Index 2. Motilal Oswal S&P 500 3. Motilal Oswal Nasdaq 100 You do not really need anything else, unless you have a reason to do so. From your question, looks like yo do not really have any specific reason for holding these many funds. Regarding NPS, I do not really know enough on NPS to provide advice on that. I will see if I can find any information that can help you.
Hi , Which is better, Index fund or ETF Bees?. Investing in index fund seems to be complicated but etfs are very easy to buy and sell. Is any Divident given in index etfs or only appreciation by capital gains. Hope you have the time and patience to clarify my doubts.

It would be really helpful if you could advise... thanks much for your contributions in finance.
A clarification, I am not a financial expert, however with the knowledge and started building my portfolio in mutual fund and stock, since 2018, with avg return of 20 %. Do I have to really go and meet professional expert and switch the mutual fund and stocks based on the suggestion and ask them to mange by portfolio by paying service charges ? Is this really required ?
Not necessary. A professional expert will just make you even more confused on your choices. If you are not sure on your pickings, stick to Index funds.
In india only 5 percent of total assets financial assets like FD,MF, Stocks Whereas developed nation like US it is around 80 percent What will be impact of shift from physical assets to financial assets in the coming years in india? How this affect Stock markets?
I am curious - where did you get this data? If it were to happen, we will see a rise in the value of financial assets. But in practice, it will take decades for those changes to happen. It is not easy for the people mindset to change all of a sudden.
Very good chance to rise 200% in financial assets in next decade as the growth seems to be averaging around 11% every year. But the % increase in stocks would be way less than that. I wouldn't count on this for rise in stock market.
