Tenerife Taoro Park - Puerto de La Cruz

Die Parkanlage wurde in den Berghang integriert. Noch heute gibt es hier Wasserfälle, verschlungene Wege, Springbrunnen und viele schattige Plätze. Hunderte Bäume und Palmen wurden dafür neu gepflanzt. Der Taoro Park ist also immer noch einen Besuch wert. Von hier oben hat man ein Top-Aussicht auf Puerto. Bei gutem Wetter kann man zudem weite Teile von Teneriffas Nordküste sehen.
Zahlreiche Treppenstufen und Rampen führen den Hang hinauf oder hinab, hier gibt es keine Einbahnstraße. Es gibt viele malerische Ecken zu entdecken, wo etwa ein kleiner Wasserfall malerisch plätschert, oder ein Kachel-Mosaik zu entdecken ist, das Motive aus der Zeit der Guanchen zeigt, der Ureinwohner Teneriffas.
The park was integrated into the mountainside. There are still waterfalls, winding paths, fountains and many shady spots here today. Hundreds of trees and palm trees were newly planted for this purpose. The Taoro Park is therefore still worth a visit. From up here you have a great view of Puerto. In good weather you can also see large parts of Tenerife's north coast.
Numerous steps and ramps lead up or down the slope; there is no one-way street here. There are many picturesque corners to discover, where a small waterfall splashes picturesquely, for example, or a tile mosaic can be found that shows motifs from the time of the Guanches, the original inhabitants of Tenerife.
