So the reason the NYX palette says that some shades are for your face is because they contain pigments that the FDA deems "not safe for the immediate eye area." However, these pigments are approved for eye use in many European countries, which actually have more strict/modern beauty safety standards than the US. If you've ever seen a palette called a 'color palette', 'shadow palette', etc, this is so that the company can get away with not having to put the disclaimer on the palette like NYX did for this one. Honestly, most people don't experience issues putting these pigments on their eyes. They could stain or cause irritation if you have sensitive eyes, but that's about it. I have seen you use many products on your eyes that contain pigments "not safe for eye use", you just may not have realized it at the time 🙂

Companies are being more obvious about the disclaimers now because some opportunistic lawyers decided to sue Morphe and Huda over not having the warnings prominent enough. The FDA just needs to catch up because those pigments are the only vegan option for many colors.

Don’t feel bad . I think all of us medium girlies go through a yellow phase . All of the foundations I used to buy in highschool (and even a couple years ago ) had yellow/golden undertones 😂 And it was because most of the tanner beauty influencers I watched used yellowy foundations so I thought I needed to . Makeup school definitely helped me there.

The nyx pallet is weird to me. Where are you using those blue/purple tones if not on your lids??? Even as a black girl like me who can use darker colors that makes no sense...hard pass on that. I also think you can use them on your eyes anyway if you can use it on your face it won't harm your skin on your eyelids lol . Anyway, love ya jas

I'm not sure if you are aware, but the film has links to QAnon and the far right, and has also been widely criticised by recognised anti-trafficking organisations. It says you can put it on your face, just don’t spray it on there directly.
You can still use it on your eyes, I promise. If you've used colourpops pigments, then you should be able to use those. But of course it's up to you. ❤ edited to say it probably has to say face pigments just so you can't sue them. I hope you know what I mean. Love ya

I used to think I had yellow undertone too since I am a natural medium to tan color but it took yrs for me to figure that out haha.
Bought those shave oils during the ULTA sale and I WILL NEVER SHAVE WITHOUT THEM AGAIN!!!! She's not hypin those up. They truly are amazing!!

Covergirl is kind of up there for 4 pans $13.99, I love the new NYX palettes 🎨 I have used them on my eyes, they just stain a bit like any others that say not eye safe.

You can use them in your eyes 😅 it’s only USA they aren’t approved for use, they are approved in all European countries and we have much more stringent requirements

Grabbed my iced tea, got cozy and ready for a good Ulta haul!!😍✨💕 also I love the Makeup Revolution super dewy spray! It can be a little bit much over top of makeup in the heat, but I love it as a primer spray!
That whipped sunscreen looked fun, but I worry that format will make it hard to use the correct amount needed to get the full spf.

I was trying to be helpful when I commented on your skincare video, I hope you didnt take offense to it, but again, from what I can see, you're losing a lot of hair from pulling your hair too tight. The front and top of your head looks much thinner than it used to be. You could be getting traction alopecia and trust me, you do NOT want that to happen. I'm telling you out of concern, not any malice. If you keep wearing your hair in those really tight styles, regrowth will be impossible. Thats where I am at and it's DEVASTATING.

Nyx pallet that says not eyesafe. It because the fda says it's not eye safe. Which they haven't updated since the 1980. I have used on my eye no problem. Europe has deemed pressed pigments eye safe. Europe is updated the USA isn't.

Colourpop has the same pigment warning as NYX for their deep reddish and purple eyeshadows. Why they would put such colors in an eyeshadow palette not meant for the eyes, it defies reason. As for the blues in the NYX palette, maybe they want to start the blue face Braveheart trend.

Definitely gonna keep my eyes open for that Vacation perfume!! I picked up both the sunscreen oils when they were on sale and so far, I love the baby oil ❤ (I'm interested to see how the Chardonnay oil does). Vacation may be a brand I never knew I really needed in my life!!
I really really wanted to love that spf but i used it 3 different times and all 3 times it gave me little bumps on my skin and i wore it alone no makeup so i was so sad😭
