I love the rose the most. Thank you for a new video. You always make me feel like I'm one of your best friends sitting right beside you. It's a special treat to spend time with you.
My name is Heather and my Husband’s name is Sean. You said the name and I legit squealed. I love you and your videos they help me when I’m feeling anxious.
so i mixed old eyeshadow powder into my resin last night to experiment and they actually came out pretty good! maybe a new suggestion for experiment 🤷🏻♀️ it would be cool to see your reaction to em
I think my fav out of these will have to be the one that turned out into looking like an abstract rose 🌹💖 Very fun to watch all of the different effects that can go one with resin. Thank you for sharing your art as always 💕👍🏼
My favorite of all of them is the pink rose effect, I really liked watching as the alcohol ink spread out through the resins, that’s just so cool. Loved it all!
I love the pink one the best. That was very enjoyable to watch. You have the best personality. The beach picture on table, do you have a video for making that and do you have a link for that mold? That is gorgeous.
I use dish gloves for my paint pour projects so I can rewash them indefinitely. I wonder if resin would peel off of a good pair the same as my paint mix will? I love the reusable stuff! I do the same thing whenever possible. I love this channel "to absolute death"! 💙
This video made me wonder if you could stick some flowers alcohol Isopropyl alcohol over night and then put them in Resin, it may stop any discolouring from drying and from not drying... Just a theory no idea if it would work, the first thing to try would be to drop a flower in a air tight jar with a bit of Isopropyl alcohol for the stem to take up and if that doesn't do anything move on to resin casting it.
I have the same squeazy bottle for my white ink. It's been so long since I just sat down and played with resin and inks, you got me wanting to so, thank you for inspiring me!
I'm trying resin for the first time & your videos really help me alot!!! Thank You for teaching us how to do this craft! I was wondering if I could use a cake icing comb to use on an ocean style - like the one you have in the backround? To make a ripple effect on the resin to make waves?
The green brain looking one is my fave, because it reminds me of a lilly pad. I would put a little frog and lotus trinket on top and use it as a jewelry holder or decor for my bathroom. Thank you for sharing inspiration and good vibes 💗
This was so fun! Yes, please do more of these experimental coasters!! I think my favorite piece was the very first one you unmolded. But that green crackling (“brain”) one comes in a close second. I definitely need to do lots of experiments like this!!
I love your channel ❤️ I watch your videos a lot so that I can try new techniques too. Green one from casting is my favourite, the colour is so bright!
I have been trying to do a snake like technique in my petri molds but I cannot get it down. I know it has to do with viscosity but I wondering if you could do a test trial tutorial on how to maybe try and get that effect. It would be great to watch something like that. Love your videos and I love watching you testing and trying new things.
The first thing I said seeing the link one, it's a rose, it's my favourite. My second favourite is the whispey white with the colours showing behind. Thing is though, would you see get two the same? I don't think so, maybe similar but not identical. Hugs x Ann x in Uk xx
I really like the two really light ones. I especially like those drops on the greyish one an I don't mind the grey I kinda like that effect in combination with the pink and blue feeling and the other one is a little angel and heaven-like. Those are just really beautiful.
I adore you! First channel I have ever actually subscribed to :) The pink rose and light green ones are my favorites, can't wait to try this out! Thank you
It would be interesting to see how it would look if you only poured a little resin (enough to cover the bottom) and dripped ink only in three middle and tilted it around like a acrylic pour painting!
I love warm colors, well actually I love hot colors so I like the backs the best on all of them but I like the rose on both sides, the two toned lime green I like both sides. I hope my answer wasn’t too confusing!
If someone wants to get started on resin, could you use a hairdryer and just slowly build up to a heat gun? I havent checked prices yet, so maybe the gun is like a nominal fee anyway lol but just wanted to see what you thought for beginners
So cool!! You’ve inspired me to try this. I have all the stuff now I just have to get up the nerve. How much resin should I mix to make 3 petri coasters? How far should I fill them?
I think the main tip for that would be to let your casting resin sit for a bit to thicken up before putting ink in. Possibly also have your white ink in a small bottle so it doesn’t drip too much
How do you keep your silicone molds so clean with out the cat hair? I can't seem to get rid of the pet hair in the molds easily is there a trick to it.
I love the 2 green ones and the rose looking one probably equally the best. The other 3 are ok but just not as good. If the pastel one had just a little less smoky effect I would have liked it better, I just think it took away from the rest of the color. Although I fell in LOVE and think I need to order that green color!!!
Is there one single Counter Culture resin type that would be good for both casting smallish pieces (think coasters) and doing epoxy tumblers? Those are the two projects I do the most and I’m not terribly happy with the resin I’ve been using. Would love to try this brand, but this is just a hobby for me so I really don’t want to buy two different types of resins if I don’t have to.
I'm trying out your compact mirror project right now do this was great to watch as my next layer will be the alcohol inks! This vid has helped me with what colours not yo put together. The pink is my fave. Wish me luck as I've only been crafting with resin for 3 months! 🙂
The "rose" but I also really like the one that got chunky and the alcohol ink settled at the "bottom" - reminded me of a glass of wine - could use a glass right now -LOL
OMG!!! I seen the first green one and said the exact same thing..BRAINS!! haha and I said the same about the pink one... it does look just like a rose... they are beautiful.... imagine gold/metallic ink in that oohhhh god!!! hahaha YOU ARE AMAZING I LOVE YOU!! You are the reason I want to try doing resin art...
Is there a way to prevent getting the white spots or having it too white on the front? Timing? Type of resin? I’ve tried using less white but sometimes it still is too “white spotty” lol
Can you do a video for tips on working with metallic alcohol inks? I tried to make a black/white/gold coaster but none of the gold ended up sinking down lol (still pretty tho)
Hi your work is awesome. I want to ask that i heard that reson is not good for health is that true. Some type of resin is harmful or the all resin is injurious.
Hi Artsy Madwoman. Love your videos and have learned so much. Can I ask how you prevent the alcohol ink from collecting down the walls of the mold? I'm trying to get this effects in a dome paperweight and have tried this several times but just get a muddy mess down the sides of the cast. I can see there's definition, texture and wonder in the centre of the cast but it's all obscured by the mess down the edges. I've seen it done in a shaped mold before, a pyramid and a ball so I assume you can do it in something other than a dish. Does that make sense? Many thanks Andy
hi! do you have any tips on how to make the resin heavier? or if there is anything to mix in to make it heavier? we’re making rings and want them to appear denser like glass rather than plastic!
Hmmm. I know there’s all different types of resin made for different purposes so maybe you could find one that’s heavier & thicker? A lot of topcoating resins are thicker so maybe they’ve be heavier too? I’m not sure if there’s anything you could mix in to make it heavier. You’re making rings so is it silly to say maybe stones? Small gemstones or something? Hope this helps! ❤️
the only thing helping me get through this shut down is getting high and watching you pour resin. Thank you
Same! 🤣
That's exactly what I'm doing right now at 1:30 a.m. LOL
Sometimes I don't even watch you for resin, I watch you cause your make up is on point :)
I think I like the pink “rose” best this time. It does remind me a lot of a full-blown David Austin type of rose, and I am rose-crazy anyway!
Ooooo that’s quite the compliment, those are really pretty! I love the pink one too! 💕
The pink and the blueish one are my favs
The final on gives me so much joy. It’s so stunning
Love your channel! So relaxing to watch you make awesome stuff! When I have a terrible day with pain, I just watch your channel!😁
The 3rd one looks like a map. I love them all. The first one reminds me of a cloudy/Smokey dusk evening after the sun is gone
Watching for a second time and had to say...obsessed with your eyeshadow😌
I love the rose the most. Thank you for a new video. You always make me feel like I'm one of your best friends sitting right beside you. It's a special treat to spend time with you.
Aawwww!!! 😭❤️ I love this so much. Thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The weird green one at the end is definitely my favorite, but I just love green. The whispies are awesome too!
Right?! I love that one too! Thank you so much!! ❤️
I’ve been looking online all day for a smokey effect with alcohol inks! So glad I found this!
The alcohol inks in the medium viscosity are so beautiful.
Girl, your hair is top knot goals always haha
Girl your my inspiration right now to try Resin Art! Thank you so much 💙
The middle medium viscosity one is my favorite!!!!
My name is Heather and my Husband’s name is Sean. You said the name and I legit squealed. I love you and your videos they help me when I’m feeling anxious.
Spring is sprung,
The grass is ris;
I wonder where,
The birdies is.
Miley onDisney the birds are charging up
The birds is shy
That green u had accident with! Omg what a colour ❤️❤️
The pink rose is awesome! I love your pieces !
The pink one looks just like a rose! Definitely my favorite
The blue violet wispy one is my second favorite. It's so light and misty I just love it!
I do the same reuse gloves till they rip and the silicone cups!!!i
That’s awesome!! ❤️
I love the two with the white wispy smoky effect
Thank you so much!! ❤️
Thank you for the resin playdate!! Experiment days can be so much fun! The rose is stunning and the brain one looks like a type of exotic stone to me.
so i mixed old eyeshadow powder into my resin last night to experiment and they actually came out pretty good! maybe a new suggestion for experiment 🤷🏻♀️ it would be cool to see your reaction to em
I mean, that is nearly the same as mixing mica powder into resin. Shimmery eyeshadow is basically pressed mica powder
I think my fav out of these will have to be the one that turned out into looking like an abstract rose 🌹💖
Very fun to watch all of the different effects that can go one with resin.
Thank you for sharing your art as always 💕👍🏼
The one you called “the brain” made me think of super close up of a leaf! 🍃 Loved all of them but that one was my favorite! 🙂
Ditto!!!
Ooooo it totally looks like that! Thank you so much!! ❤️
I came here to say this. Totally looks like cells of a leaf! Its awesome.
Have you thought of pouring the left over resin into a large pyramid mold till it's full. Good way to use the left over, instead of throwing it away.
My favorite of all of them is the pink rose effect, I really liked watching as the alcohol ink spread out through the resins, that’s just so cool. Loved it all!
Thanks for adding the measurements of your resin . It really helps! Enjoyed watching this video as i always do!
I love the pink rose one! Thank you 😁
The pink is amazing. Do you ever put anything on the back so the coastrr doesn't slide? Does it slide? Making my first coasters this week.
I love the pink one the best. That was very enjoyable to watch. You have the best personality. The beach picture on table, do you have a video for making that and do you have a link for that mold? That is gorgeous.

I actually really liked the muted color one. Also the wispy lavender and the chunky one
Loveeee the Smokey effect on the first one!
We don't get Spring in Louisiana. Our seasons are Week-Long Winter, Spummer, Super Summer, and Milder Summer.
Oh wow. Well atleast your winter is only a week long! I’d love a week long winter lol
The rose one is my favorite
I think I have to go with the Rose and then the green brain it is just too fun.
I'm trying resin for the first time & your videos really help me alot!!! Thank You for teaching us how to do this craft! I was wondering if I could use a cake icing comb to use on an ocean style - like the one you have in the backround? To make a ripple effect on the resin to make waves?

Hi, please where is your store for buy you your artist beautiful pieces
Definitely the pink one :) But the green brain was pretty cool too! Tfs. Keep safe x
I love the pink one & the brain too haha thank you!! Same to you! ❤️
This was so fun! Yes, please do more of these experimental coasters!! I think my favorite piece was the very first one you unmolded. But that green crackling (“brain”) one comes in a close second. I definitely need to do lots of experiments like this!!

When I first saw the pink one( it looks like a rose) popped in my head.I think it is beautiful.
Loving your makeup in this video and just how happy you are!
I have been trying to do a snake like technique in my petri molds but I cannot get it down. It's like science lab for art -- Art Lab! Love it!
Love the pink one...when you first unmolded I was thinking rose too! All cool looking 🥰
The first thing I said seeing the link one, it's a rose, it's my favourite. My second favourite is the whispey white with the colours showing behind. Thing is though, would you see get two the same? I don't think so, maybe similar but not identical. Hugs x Ann x in Uk xx
Love what you done here. Is the popsicle sticks or porous for the resin?
I’m having a really bad day and your comment about the brain coaster made me laugh. Thanks 😊
I really like the two really light ones. I especially like those drops on the greyish one an I don't mind the grey I kinda like that effect in combination with the pink and blue feeling and the other one is a little angel and heaven-like. Those are just really beautiful.
I'm going to need a tutorial on your exact make up look in this video! Absolutely stunning!
I adore you! First channel I have ever actually subscribed to :) The pink rose and light green ones are my favorites, can't wait to try this out! Thank you
What would you recommend for a base for stitch markers. They'd be tiny hardened tiny marker knitters/crocheters use
I love that you keep your "bloopers" in the videos!
I like the 2 greens!
Looking forward to what’s next. 🤗
Your hair is gorgeous!!!!
Thank you so much!!! 💙
I would love to get your news letter when it's up and going, I love your techniques and you are teaching me a lot. Thank you.
When you flipped over the pink coaster it looked like a rose. What do you think?
You amaze me. This was so fun! Again these came out so cool. What talent you have. Thank-you!
Awww!! Thank you soo much! 😭❤️
I know alcohol inks dry rapidly, but have you ever used them first on the bottom and then added the resin? Could you "wet" them first?
I was just wondering where you got your molds? I can not find any circle or square ones that have good reviews about them
It would be interesting to see how it would look if you only poured a little resin (enough to cover the bottom) and dripped ink only in three middle and tilted it around like a acrylic pour painting!
Oooo! That would be interesting! I’m picturing like a stained glass look ❤️
I love warm colors, well actually I love hot colors so I like the backs the best on all of them but I like the rose on both sides, the two toned lime green I like both sides. I hope my answer wasn’t too confusing!

I love these 🤩 the green is deff my fav ❤️ please keep making vids like this 👌🏽👏🏽❤️❤️❤️❤️
How can one avoid white ink spots in regular casting resin? Do you have any tips or a video on this topic?
I think the main tip for that would be to let your casting resin sit for a bit to thicken up before putting ink in. Possibly also have your white ink in a small bottle so it doesn’t drip too much
How do you keep your silicone molds so clean with out the cat hair? I can't seem to get rid of the pet hair in the molds easily is there a trick to it.
Love the green one
Love rose like one

If the pastel one had just a little less smoky effect I would have liked it better, I just think it took away from the rest of the color. Although I fell in LOVE and think I need to order that green color!!!
I love the rose one and the pastel wispy one!
Me too! I love those! Thank you so much!! ❤️
When using alcohol ink do you use alcohol ink sinker with it? Please reply I need to know lol
Hey Heather, could Shawn drill a hole in the middle of those and put clock parts on them and a battery and hanging hook on the back?
I love love love your personality 👏🏼
Is there a way to get the ink to sink without the white pigment?
You should make a video showing how you mix the resin 😊
Is there one single Counter Culture resin type that would be good for both casting smallish pieces (think coasters) and doing epoxy tumblers? Those are the two projects I do the most and I’m not terribly happy with the resin I’ve been using. That’s awesome!! Yeah definitely not green & purple 🤦🏻♀️😂 good luck!! ❤️
I loved the long intro, lol! Love that price lots. I have a Crazy love for Resin too!!!
You’re amazing and I enjoy hanging for a few everyday ish.
Haha aww thank you so much! ❤️
So beautiful and relaxing to watch 😍☺️

How did you get the alcohol in drops to cure? I just made a coffin but at the top of the mold it still stayed wet
How do you smooth the sharp edges of the dish?
Is there a way to prevent getting the white spots or having it too white on the front? Timing? Type of resin? I’ve tried using less white but sometimes it still is too “white spotty” lol
Can you do a video for tips on working with metallic alcohol inks? I tried to make a black/white/gold coaster but none of the gold ended up sinking down lol (still pretty tho)
I’ve had that issue too! I can definitely test some things out & see if I can come up with some tips! ❤️
Yes! That would be wicked cool. When I use silver it sits at the top of the mold and gold just sinks and doesn't seem to fully cure.
In my alcohol white ink one says bottom one says medium. Which one should I use to get the colors to drop down?
Love your show. Thanks for sharing with us.
Asking a question. Do you wear the mask only when you put the inks in the resin?
Hi your work is awesome. I want to ask that i heard that reson is not good for health is that true. Some type of resin is harmful or the all resin is injurious.
I'm kind of new to this, but what is the difference between casting and medium velocity?
Hi Artsy Madwoman.
