Here in Northern California, we're having our second crazy rain and wind storms. This area has been under drought watch for at least 15 years. The big dam break in 2017 happened in February, so it may be a big wet, cold winter. Prayers to everyone ❤
I remember digging up my mums monster unwanted rhubarb years ago in the middle of summer and taking a bit home, that grew into another monster (it got regularly dosed with fish tank water). I hacked a bit off of that to tame it and chucked the bits behind a shed. That's also a monster plant... seems impossible to kill lol.
Jim, you must really like Rhubarb to re-locate so many. I like it too. *Searching awhile back they said toxic Leaves are a great Pesticide ingredient. Here saying it can be a Cleaner too: ruclips.net/video/5SqmV-IkVCs/видео.htmlsi=hoh8TbabJBnQqtrE. If you decide to experiment some w/ these ideas, do share. Thx. -💌🍒

What a nice unfussy way to split the crown.
Thats a very large rhubarb root! Best wishes for survival. I split my artichoke and only 2 survived other than original left in place.
