Don't get demotivated. The best way to test yourself to ensure whether ur preparation is up to jee advanced level is by solving jee advanced problems itself.
Don't worry about coaching. Most of their tests and study materials are not at all according to the pattern of jee advanced. Remember JEE ADVANCED IS NOT DIFFICULT ITS DIFFERENT.
LASTLY sir's videos are according to jee pattern So you can trust sir. But don't be completely dependent upon him. TRY TO VISUALISE THE SUBJECT. I guarantee you can definitely get a rank under 5000 or may be less than it. My elder brother too couldn't afford coaching but got an AIR 976 in jee advanced 2016.

Bro , q=mc∆t is valid when there's a rise in temp. But when we're talking about the change of phase of substance then we use q=ml.
Here we consider it a steady state i.e. no change in temp. wrt time

Usne ques me ye thodi bola ki puri ice melt ho gyi. Usne to ye bola ki time t me m1 g of ice melt hue hai. To actually ice ki melting stage chal rhi hai. Iss case me latent heat he involve ho sakti hai not the mc∆t ( temp change wali.) Aur ques ko light dimag se socho. Jitna depth me jaoge utna confusion badta hai.
