I’ve paid off over $200,000 on the house, with plans to have it fully paid off in about three years. As someone with ADD, I never imagined I could reach this level of financial success and fulfill my dreams. It is easier now more than ever to make money online. Just stop being afraid and step out and do it.

I’m a 55 yr old network engineer. I’ve used my 9-5 to acquire my lifestyle. Although employed, I’m merely being paid for my knowledge….which allows me to take off whenever the heck I want.

I was fired at 50 and devastated. It’s been a year of depression and starting over. This lead me to be forced to say never again I literally haven’t looked or tried for another job in so done with corporate America’ s abuse and devalued antics..I’ve recently with the blessed help of God first my husband second about to start working for myself! Thanks so much for this video. Not until about 6 months ago, I realized that black women were living on their own terms. I'v been traditional in work and planned to retire in two years. After seeing others live these free lifestyles, I wanted the same. I told my company I was retiring Dec 31, 2024.Whixh is less than 90 days away. I had no plan and in 2 months, I have created an income stream and am working on 2 others. I Talk to my wife, and we are now selling our dream home, buying smaller and using our equity for us. I'm fortunate to have investments, but I bought into the lie that I needed to work to 67 to retire. Or the lie that I had to live premium on buying a bunch of stuff I don't need. Thanks again. How did you do it? I'm a writer and feel so trapped by my 9-5, but money and benefits is a necessity for me. If I could successfully get out and have financial stability, I would go for it.
@@poet82n I paid off all my debt first, then saved up for 6 months. I then transitioned to becoming an independent contractor so that I can have a flexible schedule and work at home to develop my craft. It’s not easy and requires you to think outside the box but it’s worth it. You also have to make sure you’re networking with likeminded people because you never know where an opportunity will come from.
@@tarralu Thank you for responding. Those are great tips. Fortunately, I have already paid off all my debt. I don't really have anything debt wise hanging over me. I have been saving and am single, so my income pays for my rent and basic necessities like food, gas etc. I have been on my job (working at a superior court) for almost 10 years and feel so drained, but I'm able to survive. Benefits are a major thing because I've had multiple surgeries and working on getting healthier. I just don't want to put myself in a position where I can't pay my rent and bills. I've been homeless before, struggling for years so I'm working on executing a 3-5 year exit plan/strategy. I started my own publishing and planner company some years back but it's been soooooo slow. Trying to figure out how to upscale, brand my company better and execute so that I compete in the market. What type of art do you do? Would love to check you out.

I waited until I had Medicare for hospital plus BCBS Medicare for seeing Drs 10:23 . I was afraid to give up my health benefits that come with that dreaded awful life of 9-5 only I was 8:30-5:00. Tell us what to do about affordable health care when you venture out on your own. Keep doing what you’re doing and continue with the videos. You are encouraging many many people who by listening to you will NOT wait until age 65 to live a life by design. Thank you.

I say, get out of your comfort zone which is what you're doing. Great comment love what you said. A lot of people are too scared to get at the comfort zone. That's what I do 9 to 5. They want to guarantee that regular. Check sometimes when you get out of the box. It's a chance to take. Will you get a check every week? No son of guarantee, but that's the best part of it most. People are cowards and can't do that. So they work 9 to 5 to have a guaranteed check.

After seeing others live these free lifestyles, I wanted the same. I told my company I was retiring Dec 31, 2024.Whixh is less than 90 days away. I had no plan and in 2 months, I have created an income stream and am working on 2 others. I Talk to my wife, and we are now selling our dream home, buying smaller and using our equity for us. I'm fortunate to have investments, but I bought into the lie that I needed to work to 67 to retire. Or the lie that I had to live premium on buying a bunch of stuff I don't need. Thanks again. How did you do it? I'm a writer and feel so trapped by my 9-5, but money and benefits is a necessity for me. If I could successfully get out and have financial stability, I would go for it.
@@poet82n I paid off all my debt first, then saved up for 6 months. I then transitioned to becoming an independent contractor so that I can have a flexible schedule and work at home to develop my craft. It’s not easy and requires you to think outside the box but it’s worth it. You also have to make sure you’re networking with likeminded people because you never know where an opportunity will come from.
@@tarralu Thank you for responding. Those are great tips. Fortunately, I have already paid off all my debt. I don't really have anything debt wise hanging over me. I have been saving and am single, so my income pays for my rent and basic necessities like food, gas etc. I have been on my job (working at a superior court) for almost 10 years and feel so drained, but I'm able to survive. Benefits are a major thing because I've had multiple surgeries and working on getting healthier. I just don't want to put myself in a position where I can't pay my rent and bills.
I've been homeless before, struggling for years so I'm working on executing a 3-5 year exit plan/strategy. I started my own publishing and planner company some years back but it's been soooooo slow. Trying to figure out how to upscale, brand my company better and execute so that I compete in the market.
What type of art do you do? Would love to check you out.

I love your message. You are very inspiring. I agree with you that we should all live a life by design. I waited and waited until I was 65 to live by design. I waited until I had Medicare for hospital plus BCBS Medicare for seeing Drs 10:23 . I was afraid to give up my health benefits that come with that dreaded awful life of 9-5 only I was 8:30-5:00. Tell us what to do about affordable health care when you venture out on your own. Keep doing what you’re doing and continue with the videos. You are encouraging many many people who by listening to you will NOT wait until age 65 to live a life by design. Thank you.

I wholehearted agree that those of us over 40 (I'm 67) need to educate and encourage with a YT channel. I've only been on YT coming up on 2 years, and I am loving every minute. I'm a retired line cook, Prep cook and hold 2 culinary degrees (graduated with honors). Keeping all my knowledge to myself would be selfish.

I say, get out of your comfort zone which is what you're doing. Great comment love what you said. A lot of people are too scared to get at the comfort zone. That's what I do 9 to 5. They want to guarantee that regular. Check sometimes when you get out of the box. It's a chance to take. Will you get a check every week? No son of guarantee, but that's the best part of it most. People are cowards and can't do that. So they work 9 to 5 to have a guaranteed check.

“Execute” is a very powerful word for me in this very moment. I’m dealing with a lot of uncertainty at the moment but I’m gonna need to execute to move forward. I will be thinking about this word for the coming days, thank you.
As a side note, you have me thinking about putting my youngest back into acting. Gonna give this some more thought.
