Good video. The companies that hire welders and pay the big buck expect quality welds at all times. Pipeline failures are super expensive and can be deadly. This is a good video for young guys that want to break out and have the idea that all you need is an old leaky SA200 and a pickup truck to make the big bucks. This is not barn lot welding on a broken plow
O yeah this is alot more to it than just welding. I have always told my helpers that learning how to weld is the easy part it's every thing else that comes with it is the hardest part.
I enjoy your videos. What recommend rod would you choose for welding carbon steel to maganise steel? I was given Blue Max 309 1/8” and or 5/32 it’s more just safety question they are pad eyes attached to jaw crusher it weighs around 7 tons. I’ve had the crane operator pulling over 10 ton on it. Never an issue. I l did this same job quite a few times. i have made multiple vertical fillet cleaned between passes with wire wheel. Thanks I’ve done quiet a few of them allready
Man I really don't know what to tell you. I can ask some of my CWI buddies and see if any of them know and I will see if I can round you up a welding procedure for it.
Good stuff

I thank lincoln has some on their website. But whenever you get hired out for a company, they will provide them to you.
Anymore videos? Part 2-4?
No, I never made a 2. I didn't thank anyone wanted another one.
