There's a lot of room on Maui but yet the island is so empty . It would be dope if they had an actual real car meet area in the island. Where players could flash their cars in said class via street tier 1 all the way to touring cars. And the players could actually challenge other players in the same class of vehicle to a random race to where you can race 1-3 laps. And they could give us actual rewards for the top 3 players voted in the car show. And also they should make it where players can't use multiple accounts to vote for themselves and to where only the player can vote for himself every day and not their friends. Just so it could be as fair as possible. Bc we all know that the custom show is a joke and flawed and not fair.

I mainly no hesi in crew 2. graphics don't bother me, I don't do races.... I just cut in and out of traffic. motorfest (as nice as it looks and sounds) it just wasn't meant for me.this game would be my gold mine if it just had traffic. but it just kind of feels empty
I just cant stand TC2 graphics. Even at max settings its a blurry mess on PC. Motorfest is drop dead beautiful. Proper game engine and proper lightning, and most importantly, proper AA. It looks like a proper AAA game while TC2 looks like an indie game made in Unity, I despise that game with every single fibre of my being. The Crew 2 is the ugliest game I've ever played.
In terms of content, yes, it is a downgrade, as of 2025. The Crew 2 has: - Jetsprint - Hovercraft - Aerobatic planes - Housing - Four different HQs for each discipline - More Racing clothes/outfits and helmets - Contractor missions - Stories I was hoping that Motorfest would have these. But when I got the game and found out it doesn't, it left a very sour taste in my mouth that I still can't shake off even today.

The fact that TCM is slept on and people (specifically TC1 and Horizon purists) hated on Motorfest and boats and planes made me lose my faith in humanity, I played all TC games and Motorfest was the VERY first game I had (almost) no problems with (except the ADHD-like cockpit hand animations), heck after the closed beta I decided I'd never come back to Horizon (not to mention Horizon doesn't have boats and planes and its cult is so against it for bizzare reasons) and not to mention NFS and its focus on dArK sToRy (as if we already didn't have games playing like 5 minutes of interactive cutscenes lmao).

TCM is an upgrade for car physics and graphics.TC2 tho is better in every other way. Honestly I would pick TC2 to play every time. Unfortunately I've pretty much done everything in tc2 or I'd definitely play that more then TCM

For me yes ,it was a massive downgrade in pretty much everything aside from graphics but who cares about that when you compare a full US map to 2 islands with threes. For me the biggest selling point and what got me to play this game was the map especially being an European and seeing different parts of US. The events in TC2 were boring for the most part but the huge map along with fun seasons like stories was what keeps me in the game for so long and even now it's the game of choice if I want to play a car game. I just free roam and go 300-400km (in-game) because it's fun. I pre-ordered TCM ,played it for 2 weeks and deleted it as it was a waste of space on my PS5. With the small map and the ridiculous and quite frankly cringe playlists it was not a good experience playing it. I recently installed it again because of the new season ,played it for 2 hours and again it's out of my console. I don't know if there is a way to save Motorfest at this point unless they add the US map and start adding from there.

The Crew 2 that has the longest (unrealistic) 20 minute highway from Dallas TX to California is a broken record I don't think no game can compete against this long country drive. The game is just that close to meeting the American truck simulator game standards. If TC2 would've been accurate with its biomes with more states representation then yeah it will be the heart to all generations as the best American racing game in history.
Yes, it's an absolute downgrade in every sense of the word TC2 gets to explore the entire country and TCM gets to explore a bunch of hills and curves that takes less than 10 mins to drive around. The handling model is shit, there's no stories, no community races, or no hobbies. The summit rewards are an absolute joke. The custom show is a giant kick in the testicles for anybody that just wants to share their builds with other people. And lastly, TCM is literally a festival by name. Are we to endure a 6 year festival of rigged and exploited nonsense? It's so bad that the creators are reduced to showing you shortcuts and that's pretty much it. If you've seen one video, you've seen them all.

My true statement is going to be way beyond my age and you will also agree on this one. Motorfest is the shortest TC game they ever made in this franchise honestly. The Crew from 2014 is a FULL game and it took me a year to finish the story. For TCM they'd gutted out what's an important selling point to the franchise and the original selling point is the story no matter how good the environment and performance are in the new game. I don't know about TDU Solar Crown direction but Motorfest is trying to be competitive with Forza commonly and it's sad to say that most companies are chasing Microsoft's profitable dreams.

I came to the conclusion that modern day repetitive racing games are live games that keep you updated with seasons. The Crew One is a true solo mode video game without a doubt. Nowadays we are getting handfed small portions of content that's not enough to keep us from leaving the game.

Hawaii was planned as a TC2 DLC called Project Orlando. Then they for some reason made it again and initially called it Motorcamp before they came out with "fest".
Downgrade in most areas the updates in motorfest are poor compared to The Crew 2 the island concept offers barely a different variety of events going through the same areas which is a limitation of the map no houses no class based PVP i’d rather the crew be a game that’s a ever expanding game could been DLC packs the islands really yes it separates the player base but forza horizon has this with its DLCs but doesn’t really affect the core players

The way I see it is they need to speed up TCM’s updates a bit because right now the content is way to slow tbh, seeing the current road the game is on does concern me a bit
