It expresses the lyrics and message poetically and smoothly. Jimin is the epitome of smooth in this dance. This dance practice is my preference over the MV. And understand this. I am not saying anything against Jimin. Art is subjective. In the MV I was looking everywhere at everything trying to figure out what was going on and what was the meaning. I woke up the next morning and couldn't remember the song. Only the visuals. But after watching this dance practice the song is still humming in my head. It's a beautifully written song with deep meaning to Jimin and what he experienced during his like crazy time. But this is so much better. Even better than the produced version that was shown on The Jimmy Fallon show. Here's why. We get to see all of Jimin. No distracting sets, costumes, lighting, or visuals. Here we see Jimin's eyes, face, facial expressions, body expressions, feelings, subliminal dreamy mood, and just everything. As a director and choreographer I prefer this raw version. Anytime we can't see Jimin clearly and our eyes are averted, we don't get the full story. Jimin floats and body rolls and moves easily through his story. When the backup dancers are grabbing him we still need to see his Like Crazy reaction. When the one female dancer mirrors his every move we see him in his mirror. I keep saying brilliant. But it is purely brilliant and breathtaking in its simplicity. Kudos to the backup dancers. They compliment him the whole way through and excel in their performance. Did you see the one choreo move that is taken from "Butter"? It's cleverly tucked into the choreo. In my opinion Jimin is on the verge of Michael Jackson fame. He has the potential to match his fame if he wants too. But he will do it in his own charismatic way. Jimin could become #1 in the world. He has that potential. I don't know if he will go for that because he is so humble. Anyway, loving Jimin's song and dance. Love. Love. Love.
