Thank you for this video! It's so difficult to find members of the Ural community who speak english, let alone ones who make youtube videos. I want to prepare myself for when the inevitability of having to rebuild my engine comes, and this video is a great help.
Man the cases? is really rough casting? And that is after a lot of apparent sanding! Makes one want to hire some cheap labor and just keep sanding until totally smooth! Then have it coated with milspec finish of some sort?
What if anything is interchangable between the BMW R72 motor and the Ural copy? Will the BMW motor literally drop right in place? Or do the mounts have to be redone?
