- It's no secret that N23MZ has endured some major changes this past year. We have enjoyed sharing the journey with you. We take pride in the equipment we use to bring you educational aviation videos. In this video, you will see the process of corrosion treatment.
McKnight Engenieering INC.
Sorry to hear about the corrosion. Glad she's getting treated. Thank God you found the issue when you did. Fly safe!
My only concern about fogging is getting the compound on wiring harnesses. That should be a concern.
So glad that you guys caught that before a failure!
Please do more "Maintenance Mondays" segments. Are really important!
We can see what we can do.
How much of the chemical did you use for a single 172?
Thanks for the video. Can you provide details on where to obtain the sprayer system that Mike used in the video? Thanks!
you can get it from ACF50. they sell those as well
ACF50 Is top stuff defiantly worth treating your metal aircraft with.
Maybe a better description: Intergranular corrosion in aircraft is a localized type of corrosion and is usually an attack on the grains that make up the alloys and metals of the airplane. The grain boundaries get attacked and become depleted of chromium, making them vulnerable to corrosion even if they are usually corrosion-resistant metals.
is the fogger a paint type spray-gun that has an extension??
Sure looks like it to me...
Should have assigned it to Russ
