Pretty sure you should treat the entire thing like a HiRM; you build the kit on top of the frame, not have the kit prebuilt, then disassemble, then onto the frame...
this is a replacement frame for an existing model kit. Unless you buy it together with the daban kit unbuilt, then yes that would be the optimal way of doing it.

I don't know why they called it metal frame if its ot full metal should have called it mix frame.
Dunno, But it will always be like this, POM + Alloy, metal to metal is not recommended for joints as friction would wear it out quicker, I think.
Only metal is terrible for Friction. Pom is the absolute must and best companion of metal as it is the highest resistance plastic
