That is awesome. The sound from those exhausts should be released as a single, It is one of those bike that you could spend a sunny afternoon just looking at all the intricate details and then the next day you still find something you missed. Thank you for posting this video.
Oh my goodness that is one of the sweetest creations that I’ve ever seen with the old GT750 engine. I’d love to know some of the specs on it and see it on the road.
,85 I got a 84 GT 750, more BIKING JOY, than my nearly new'84 Kawa.750 turbo, GT750 would sit at a planted 140mph., all day long. The 750 turbo, you'd have to engage the turbo, before it became very, very special.
Oh, the memories triggered... Summer of '79, I lived in Sylvan Lake, Alberta. Worked on a Nowsco fracking crew with a bunch of alcoholic angry men. Gentleman Brit starts working there that spring, shows up at work one day on a slickly modded waterbuf. I'd never heard of the bike. It was ported & polished, JB Powerpipes, K&H filters, sexy red fairing with two headlights, bike nicely repainted silver from purple, sounded just like the one above -- just mental. I owned a beige, dented VW Bug. For some insane reason, he wants to trade me. I end up with the bike plus $1,500. Within a week, I'd quit that job and spent the rest of the summer riding the beast around Alberta, including dirt roads. I learned to drift and wheelie on my 850+lb GT750. Never did bother with a motorcycle license, insurance or ownership. It would be nice to have another one to keep my KTM 950 Super Enduro company nights in the garage.
Hello Paul, a great story. In early 1979, I bought a GT250 (my first bike)from a guy who had bought a new GT750. the dream of the water buffalo was born. You can buy this custom GT750 😊 Best regards Boy Meinköhn
Beautiful and Brutal . I notice the Stock Headers were retained , which is good . Maintains the Mid-Range Torque those had . GSX-R twin headlight Fairing would have been good , rather than the Dunstall unit . Lovely Bike .
What kind of levers and perches are those? I'm a disabled rider and had to have my bike adapted but now I need to balance out the look and the ones on there are 99% match
Guessing 2 stroke 750 ?, NICE ride, I'd bet, and I'm a semi retired Crazy MAD Banditateer, fekkin Banditaholic, ruined for any other bike, and I'm not even lying.
Electric start !!!??? You are a sick puppy. And in a very good way, I must add !!! I hand ported one of these beast back in 1975 and it got real mean. And then the H2 Kawasaki's started to left me along. The speed police were not the same. Did you know that after only 14 driving points on my license for speeding they really got mean!? I parked it about 20 years ago but my son wants to bore it out with new pistons and bring it back to life again. What should I do? Signed : ( It's was not my fault I once souped up a GT750 in Ohio Club. Please give us a break !?)
I had over .100" of an inch milled off the top of jug block to get that much compression ( 165psi ). I have a pair of factory ported road race ten cooling fins T500 cylinders that someone might want. First 500cc bike to break 150mph at Daytona. Stock T500 street jugs all had 11 fins. I should take a video of the porting. The exhaust ports are huge. Problem is a stock crank has longer rod lengths than the race cranks had.
This is one my old bikes. It has CV carbs and the low end throttle response is pretty strong so it's not the carbs. The other motor in my garage has way more porting and 38mm carbs.
Best gt750 special I’ve ever seen and heard, and I had a Hinckley apple Dunstall with a piper.
Thank you 😃
I have also a Dunstall GT750 😂

Der nackte über Wahnsinn. Hammer. Die Kanzel ist so schön. Beide Motorräder sind traumhaft.
Repeat after me I am so jealous of this absolute jewel of a
Motorcycle 😍😍😍😍

@@boymeinkoehn4927 Where are you located?
@@paulfenn5060 Near Chemnitz in Germany 😊
@@boymeinkoehn4927 I'm in Toronto. Might not work.
@@boymeinkoehn4927 I'll buy it.
That is damn near a mythical beast of a bike.
The frame is art. I'm not a fan of those rear light and numberplate set ups. conventional rear light set up would ballance the look of it more. IMO.
It's. Perfection. God of 2strokes❤️✔️
Thank you 😊
simplesmente perfeita, linda, ficou uma obra de arte.
Wow, it looks so beautiful on those cobbles. A real tank slapper
you know a 'tank slapper' is this yeah? .. ruclips.net/video/TpeNWxHF6uI/видео.html

So Beautiful!!

Nice work
Einfach großartig.
Danke 😊
Au dessus c'est le soleil tout simplement...
What a fuckin' bike os this?????
Awesome!!!!!!
fucking awesome!!! fuck!!!
What about the engine upgrades ?
It has all it needs . Three Hand-made Expansion chambers . With some bigger Main Jets that would go about 100bhp .
@@johncunningham4820 Thanks !

Nunca vi un 2t con carburadores con diafragma 😎
Boaaah eyyyy!
How much cash would you want ?or even build me another ?
Unfortunately this is not possible. the frame from egli does not exist again
You are right, there is only one of this frame in the whole world .........but it is not built by F.W.Egli!!
😍🎵🎶👌👍
HOW MUCH....???
why are they so sluggish to pick up?
Most likely it's the CV carbs, 2 strokes shouldn't have CV carbs for performance.
ESSA É 2T. ISSO DEVE EMPINAR DE QUARTA. É LIGAR, ANDAR E MORRER.
Une moto apart .montage avec uncopain .des heures de boulot .modele unique .cadre egli .
