    You know I couldn't wait to see you fill out this beautiful layout 😍 I feel you on not wanting to take from savings and also about taking a break from Grub Hub. If you need a break, you should definitely take one. Maybe make a set day to return, and that way you'll return refreshed and ready to go. Burnout is real and a struggle. Y'all got this!

    Your layouts are beautiful. Gabe and I have been in your boat in the past. It’s stressful and not so much fun to watch savings dwindle. However, that is why we save for emergencies, right? Sending positive ripples to you. 😘😘😘 This is just a crap year and know that things will be on the upswing soon.

    If your phones are all paid off you could take them to T-Mobile where they are doing get two lines and the 3rd is on them for the magenta plan it’s 140 for unlimited talk text &data includes Netflix taxes and fee t mobile Tuesday’s which are great they give free stuff ☺️

    Hi! I'm new to your channel. Your layouts are beautiful- you are so creative!
    I think it might be worth it to research options for your bills. T-mobile has better rates than AT&T. Also, would you be willing to cut cable for a few months and just stream via Netflix, Amazon or Hulu?
    Just a couple ideas since you are concerned about having to dip into savings.
    Wishing you all the best!

    I used to have At&t for my cell phone when I first got a cell phone. It's all I knew, so never had a thought to leave, until someone convinced me to switch to At&t's parent company, Cricket. When I switched and compared bills, I was SHOCKED how much Att was ripping me off for nothing! Cricket has been good to me all these years, never will go anywhere else. If you have it in your area, I strongly suggest it. Since they are owned by ATT, you can move your own ATT phone over to them. If you have them where you live, just look into them. The service connection is also just like ATT so you won't compromise on connection.

    My husband lost his job due to covid19. Was on unemployment for 8 weeks. We saved half of it. Put it in savings. He is now working a contract job. We are still saving half his income. I have worked for the same company for 15 years. I was laid off for 6 weeks during the state shut down. I went back to work in May.
    We lowered our cell phone bill and got ride of cable TV.
    We have Google fiber. We have Amazon prime, Netflix, and Disney +. I can cancel them at any time. It is less than that cable bill. Cable is a rip off! I use CBS, ABC, NBC apps to watch "tv" shows. Most of it is crap anyway. You should look into HULU+. My sister has it. You can watch all the sports from it.
    I can tell you this, some states... mine for one... will be on a lock down again this winter If Biden wins. The numbers are going up. Kids in my state are not in school. No one is wearing masks or following guide lines. To many mass gatherings. The NFL will not finish this season. Theaters are going bankrupt.
    Product can't get produced. There is a shortage of Freezer in the world. No raw material made.
    We have started buying more items at the grocery store each week. Instead of one we but 2 or 3.More canned goods. More frozen items. Beans and rice.

    Personally this is way too busy for me. Too many boxes, too many doodles, overstimulating- gives me anxiety! I need something very clean and simple but if it works for you, then good for you. I’m curious on why you didn’t make your student loans more of a priority when paying off your debt? You worked hard on paying off the credit cards but just let the student loans continue to accrue interest over the years? Especially if you’ve had them for a long time.

    I see you are still playing with fire with the credit cards. You keep saying “lesson learned”, however, you seem to keep making the same decisions over & over expecting a different out come.

    • @OhMyGoals
      @OhMyGoals 4 года назад +7

      No, it’s not the same at all. The only outcome I’m expecting is the one I’ve intentionally planned for. I’m using 0% interest offers right now and I also received a nice discount on my purchase for opening up a Home Depot card. I can pay it off with cash right now if I chose but see no need while I’m accumulating no interest. There is a difference between using credit cards without the ability to pay off before interest accrues and making smart, planned purchases. Credit cards aren’t bad - misusing them is. Thanks for the feedback!

    • @robbiethornton-peek7899
      @robbiethornton-peek7899 4 года назад

      Oh My Goals! It’s great that you received a discount. You are playing with fire because you didn’t pay it off immediately. You’ve now added to that debt which according to you isn’t interest free. This is a very slippery slope you’re on. This is what happens. And as soon as “life happens” & you don’t pay it off, you are back paying interest. You are over $1,1000 short each month. $125 of it is over the Lowe’s card & a bed you bought on credit. Interest free or not. I will keep watching because it you seriously help me & I want to see how it all turns out. Lol.

    • @OhMyGoals
      @OhMyGoals 4 года назад +8

      Robbie, please watch my videos in their entirety. I’m not short each month - just the opposite. I have actively and regularly added to my savings every single month. I mentioned being short for October only because I’m not planning for money that I don’t already have. My husband will earn enough to cover our bills and then some but I can’t add it to my budget before I see the exact amounts (I don’t like “guesstimates”). The money will be there - and I will add it to my budget accordingly. If I’m wrong about anything, I will be the first to report it in a video. I appreciate your views but your comments are reflecting only pieces of the big picture. My budget and plans are all working well for me - I promise.🧡

      Oh My Goals! I do watch your videos all the way through. You are a wonderful artist & I love your charts, etc. I do think that you have made some decisions that since I’ve know about debt I wouldn’t make now because I’ve made some of the same decisions you have/are making so I have concerns about your use of credit cards with zero interest. I can’t care more about your financial outcome than you care. LOL. GOOD LUCK.
