Every time I hear our hymn I feel so much pride in the fraternity. I feel so blessed and fortunate to be a part of such a great piece of black history of the collegiate level. '06.
Congratulations are in order for my GRANDSON (Rich Clay - Bowie State U) who is now my BROTHER. How proud I was to cross the BURNING SAND in November, 1957 - BETA PI Lane College - soon to be 64 years ago. Neither of my brilliant sons, one a graduate of the Naval Academy (perfect math score on ACT) and the other, magna cum laude Morehouse Collge, is both my son and BROTHER. What they will miss in life!
Before Becoming An Alpha Man, I always held this Hymn with such high regard. Since becoming An Alpha Man , every time I hear Our Hymn, I get literal chills and goosebumps! Far as I’m concern Our Jewels Sing With Me! 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
Now being an Alpha makes me want to cry when I hear this hymn sung so beautiful. Just amazing that the lyrics and the melody make the song so great to hear.
