Great video, good to see the ongoing review of the elements of your build over time. It would probably be worth mentioning any specific things that may or may not be compatible with other D’Max models to appeal to a few more viewers but there is a limit to how much you can put it without getting too technical. Great job all the same.

Thanks for the video. Gave me some ideas on the dust seals for the tailgate. It was easier to seal my 2013 D-Max when I did it as the gaps didn't seem to be a large. I went through the thought of either going a tray/canopy or keeping the tub and putting a canopy, and I went the latter because of weight and versatility (for my needs). I also do like the tubs on these utes. Also, with moving to a tray/canopy, there is a higher cost and you need to consider suspension set up. Good luck with the choice you make.

Great job! Do like your power setup, will have to watch that video. If you are going to get another canopy, we done the same style of canopy you have on a mates lads Ranger, he had some of the panels colour matched like you did, but when we prepared to put it together we painted the roof, side, and rear door wing in a heat reflective roof paint in charcoal colour… apparently what colour black is important to some. The paint we used is called Energystar, probably other makes around … not cheap but does the job. Apart from the rear door, those same panels had self-adhesive sound deadening material stuck on the undersides…had a bit left over from doing around the car so we though why not.

Ah top tip, thanks! Yes would def get those black panels sorted if going this style again

Great Vid, and shows what can be done…. I love the water tanks and will have to do that for me as that can be used for work as well… My biggest problem is I don’t have much GCM to play with, so I have to be careful with what goes in, but I love watching these vids - especially the tailgate mod… That one I will need a bit of courage to start, but I think will come in super handy.

Explore bound on RUclips got an MRT canopy which bolts directly to the chassis and looks pretty sweet. Would be keen to see how you integrate storemod into that
