5:18 if you are deep striking a shooting unit, generally speaking 9” is plenty enough. Unless you’re trying to shoot one assault another. I guess this is the only way to get within 6” now, since every other thing that bypassed the 9” got changed?

It's your narrative so you can do what you want - if you don't want that sudden death mechanic, you and your group don't need to use it!
