What I loved about this most is that Naomi never drops character. She sings confidently yet shows a moment of vulnerability as her character opens up to new possibilities and wonder. Jasmine is definitely a leader in this version of the film. Brilliant performances by both actors.

The visuals are really great but what makes it done is how Mena and Naomi NAILS the chemistry. I was dying from the romance!

Mena did an *amazing* job of mimicking Brad Kane on this song, as well as on the two parts of One Jump Ahead.
Naomi Scott uses her own voice, as would be expected from a professional singer like her. After all, Lea Salonga is a soprano, whereas Scott is clearly not. But I do feel in this song Scott takes some inspiration from Salonga's classic rendition, and is even able to channel some of the crystalline clarity of Salonga's high notes. On the other hand, Scott's rendition of Speechless doesn't take much inspiration from Salonga at all; we hear a lot more of Scott's belting voice, and even some growls, which fit perfectly for a power ballad about breaking free and taking control of one's own destiny.
Everyone did an amazing job on this soundtrack (Will Smith too), I'm looking forward to seeing the film.
I second the first comment. Their flight over Agrabah is truly fascinating, the best scene in the film. Tbh the earlier scenes didn't really interest me, but I was very in awe over the scene aforementioned. And that's why I'm here, looking for that particular scene in youtube but can't findy any with their own voices.

Might be unpopular opinion but I prefer Zayn's version. It was different. This sounds like a 3rd grade version of the original Brad and Lea version which was 10000 times better. Mena can't sing at all.

That’s just really amazing how much they sound just like the original singers. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say this was actually the original 1992 song LOL. Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott were clearly the ONLY choices for the roles and their performances were solid gold!

Respectfully disagree. Mena definitely sounds similar to Scott Weinger, but i would say that Scott has a slightly deeper timbre to his voice. Not a complaint, I thoroughly enjoyed both of their performances.
