In DFW on business years ago from my hometown Chicago and saw this first hand. The guy that picked me up from the airport was a Minnesota ex pat so even in his pick up, we had no trouble. The ditches were full of cars and trucks and those interchanges that they balance on poles instead of dirt were just full of ice capades washouts and emergency vehicles. It was hilarious. Yahoos on ice.
🐧Walk Like a Penguin 🐧 - SafeStep Ice Melter ads on the Weather Channel in the '80s LOL. I am interested in knowing how much precipitation fell (the liquid equivalent) that caused that ice. We had a sleet storm in 1989 that was bad enough to do something like this as the pellets bonded.
My dad lives In Rockwell area said it was crazy all over out there closer ya got to Dallas and driving in it was horrible. That lifted 240sx was cool tho.
I may have found what looks like some energy beams coming from some of the weather radars yesterday using mosaic radar. It also looks like 2 big one's converging next to each other southwest side of Arkansas. The area Reed Timmer is thinking about going today for the severe weather event. There is 1 little one south side of Arkansas, and there is one big beam that went to the southeast side of Arkansas. Looks like it's coming from the weather radars hundreds of miles away.
If your car loses its traction on the read, look at where you want to go and barely touch the gas. Never break.....and manual transmission cars are a lot of fun to do donuts.

Once in a while Dutchsinse predicts tornadoes going thru an area many hours or days before storms come after the radar dose, he calls it a radar ring. A radar ring is a big wave of energy of superheated air particles pulsing out in a ring extending out in a 50-mile radius from a weather radar. If you're lucky, once in a while you can see it happening looking with a weather radar in a form of a green ring. Where rings intercepts or a ring stops at in a storm mode zone storms with tornados form in that pulse boundary line and go over it. Dutchsinse as a shocking accuracy of over 80% on tornados under a 50-mile radius by only looking at we call radar rings. Hes also predicted the freeport tornado.
