I’ve had viewers ask for my PayPal and Venmo details so they could “tip” me for all the videos. Thank you so much to those who have asked. If you’d like to leave a “tip” it would mean the world to me and my family…

#1 Drill For Hitting The Sweet Spot (Awesome Tennis Tip)
1. Try hitting the frame on purpose to help you learn where the sweet spot is
•
Thank you Ian from Essential Tennis for showing us this awesome drill
•
You got this!
Very interesting.
Most of us can hit with the sweet spot. Tomaz of Feel Tennis Instruction pinpointed why we don't in his video, "How to Watch the Ball in Tennis":
We look up just before ball contact to see the target or our opponent-that movement shifts the racquet enough to create a mishit. The video runs much longer than 2 minutes, but he says it took a whole season for him to "learn."
You teach the same focus in many of your groundstroke lessons.
Wow it turns out that I have been practicing this drill for awhile now! 😂
Haha that’s a funny comment.
Sometimes it’s good idea to calibrate your sweetspot ! I use it once a month with my students ! Grate tip!
Thanks so much!!
thank you Ryan , gotta try this exercise tommorow cant wait to do it
Will definitely try this. I frame a lot of forehands. Thanks Ryan!
Thanks for watching! Let me know how it helps you!!
Thanks Niko!
Just wondering if this is a really proven method or just an idea/hypothesis.
Great content thank you. Quick question Ryan, does the top spin pro reinforce more of a wind shield wiper type of action for intermediate to advanced players instead of trying to hit through the ball and get more depth with pace? This is something i struggle with in trying to use top spin pro.
you can use both techniques. to work on hitting more through the ball simply take the top shield off. thanks!!
I was watching like a hawk to see if you practice what you preach. Yes, your left hand is way above contact point. Nice!
Thanks Ryan from PlayYourCourt! WHO GOT THIS?!
Haha thanks. Can’t believe I made that mistake. Lol
Can I know which tennis racquet do you have
Seems hard to hit the ball with the edge of the racket, eh? If only I could compete doing this... I'd be a pro in no time!
Ryan, do you still enjoy playing games after doing all these lessons every day or do you get burned out from tennis?
I don’t play tennis. I just teach. I find playing boring. But I love coaching. I can’t get enough of it. It’s one of the reasons I make so much content. Because after I make a video I feel fulfilled. Thanks!!
@@2MinuteTennis cool perspective
@@2MinuteTennis awesome - it shows
helloooo Ryan:))
Haha thanks so much!!!
@@2MinuteTennis sometimes i come just for your hello haha
@@hrabmv haha thanks so much. Gotta have something You’re known for. Lol
Isn't the sweet spot for groundstrokes north of the center of the racket (middle top quadrant)?
South
:28 … haha, it’s ‘essential tennis’. Saw the ‘birthday hat shot on Intuitive tennis’ to counter. Good one 😂
I couldn’t believe I said the wrong channel. After I went home and started editing I realized my mistake. Didn’t have time to go out and film it again. Thanks for watching!!!
