That's a nice sentiment, but remember, when videos like this come up, it's usually because the creator is seeing trends in the RUclips Studio data that suggest otherwise. The only way they can sustain ignoring those trends is to a) bet on an algorithmic tweak to save the day b) have some kind of off-platform product/income c) scale back production and boost efficienies to make current viewership sustainable. If growth is what they want, they'll have to risk some change or look into on and off platform promotion options, which can be a money pit.
My sentiments exactly as that of many others here. I geek out on every video as the process and journey is as important as the final outcome. You are one of the best You Tubers out there!! If you were to choose, it’s ok to be a little commercial with the channel, even Buddha talked about life and speaks about being commercial as far as it is ethical, real and true to your values. How that translates to your channel is what you need to answer for yourself. It’s fine to evaluate and review where you are. There are a few other You Tubers that I feel I feel manage to have a healthy balance between content and being commercial, Alex Palameri is one, Gears and Gasoline is another, I like Vtuned, Goonzsquad has become too commercial, I like Matt Ross too. Nevertheless, ❤ your content, rock on!!
I think your videos are popular, and will continue to be popular, *because* you take the time to show all the struggles and interesting details of restoration. I, personally, vibe with your choice of projects a lot. I *love* the Supra restos. You rock. You will continue to rock. We think you're awesome.
Sarah, I've watched your channel for years specifically because of your attention to detail and how you don't want to rush things. I know I'm not the only one. Some say that in order for a channel to grow, you need to "go where the audience is" but I think that once you reach a certain size, you can actually do the opposite. You said it yourself, a lot of big automotive channels move towards cutting corners or trying to get projects done faster. I think that's an opportunity for you to do the opposite -- bring people in by showing how things are done the right way. Is it glamorous or the most lucrative? No, but it's honest work and something you can be proud of.
You are one of the content creators that I recommend to moms with daughters. There is a 7 year old girl in North-west Canada that loves watching you work on cars. How many car channels seek that market?
@@chemapc It seems like the natural order of things if a channel gets a huge number of subscribers, the "views" even a month after an upload are a fraction of the subscribers with only a few perhaps being "breakouts" higher. I think we all reach a point in our lives when we see others around us progressing while we're standing still and it makes us feel like we're failing. But really we need only concern ourselves with what makes us happy. For a lot of people, achievement IS what makes them happy and that's fair enough, but if you're not wired that way, don't measure yourself against other people's goals. You succeed because you are unique as a RUclips presenter, Sarah I love your stuff keep making it, and don’t change! I have already bought two cars based on your recommendations… A Toyota Tacoma, and a Toyota 4Runner…
One of the many things I like about Sarah's content is I learn a lot from her. The fact that she's working on these projects alone most of the time really helps to see her process for car builds. I've been following Sarah since she got Mr. Dos and small Sarah was in the mix. And it's been fun, entertaining, and educational. But if Sarah decides to mix things up with her content, I'm here for it. :)
Been here about as long. Saw comments on other channels about Sarah doing innuendo for the views, or outfits for the views, two videos later was laughing my arse off, and could see the shirts and shorts were more about the daily heat cycle of Sarah's location, and wearing stuff that doesn't catch on car parts when working. Sarah's and KSR's video are also usually just the right length to watch while at lunch break at work, and you'll never have a co-worker or customer accidently overhear bad language from either.
Your non traditional weird car ness is what draws us in! Don’t second guess a damn thing. Your content is plenty creative and interesting as F. We all appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us dreamers.
Sarah, you have a rare talent for making the most mundane details of what you're working on fun and fascinating. Add in the granularity of your knowledge of so many of those details (and your total honesty whenever you DON'T know them) and you've got one of the most engaging styles of presentation of any content creator on RUclips. Seriously, you could apply your style to any number of subjects and it would be fun to watch. Ever considered branching out into other areas of interest?
Sarah, you are pretty much the only person I watch for car builds and reviews. I appreciate the love and dedication you put into your work. You are so genuine and real, drama free, and funny to boot. I hope you never change what you do or how you do it.
Aging Wheels, Bad Obsession Motorsport, Rich Rebuilds and Hubnut's videos are kind of in that same niche. Although if their sense of humor or delivery is your cup of tea is of course a different story.
Sarah your corkiness is why I watch your channel. The odd cars and your attention to detail is a blessing and I love your personality and the funny innuendos (dirty mind) lol. Plus you're very pretty and nice to look at while you're doing your thing. And as a ex-mechanic I know the struggles you deal with on the cars and trucks. I have great respect for your talent and abilities. Keep up the great work 😊
I only started watching you recently, but I've already watched most of your build playlists because you care about your work, make interesting videos and work on cars that aren't necessarily "popular" but are also interesting. The Ford Ranger build series was one of my favorites because my dad had an '89 Ranger I wish I'd snagged before he sold it and the passion you had for that build was unmatched by anything I've ever seen on RUclips. You've very quickly become one of my favorite channels on RUclips and I love how much content you give us - I just hope you are somehow able to take time for yourself so you don't burn out because you're literally working ALL THE TIME - and that's no bueno.
Your editing and your thoughts during the filming is right on. I am 57 been working on cars/ motorcycles forever. You have an old wonderful soul that I can relate to full of sarcasm and positivity! Keep it up. Don't change your content.
Don't let anyone pressure you to change, many do and hate their job. You clearly enjoy what you do, we can see that in your videos. We live our dream job through you.
Oh, Dr. Sarah and your beautiful 90s graphics. It’s details like that that you apply everywhere that make you stand out. 100! I learn as much, if not more, when Alice follows the White Rabbit. That's when I get to see how things are put together and how to take them apart without destroying them, plus the little hidden things that other channels gloss over as if they are common knowledge.
One of the reasons why I look forward to watching you week after week is your high-quality standards. Another is that you chose projects that you want to do, that are not necessarily the "automotive norm" and show the intricate mundane work that goes into making a quality automotive build. You don't have the "big auto shop" resources, with staff and mega-equipment. But you concentrate on what you do excel at - friends and associates that help, humor, and the drive to provide quality and entertaining content. As I non-maintenance person I learn something from you each week. So when the resources permit, you'll get more staff, more space, more equipment - but never ever go down that corporate route that some A-hole from Google or RUclips decides on what sells or doesn't. Kept on trucking sister.
So, for many of us, it's the details that makes us love your channel. Ya know, the stuff other channels skip over. I hope you can keep having fun and also make enough money to keep this all going for a long time to come.
Your videos are nice because they're actually technical with little tips. There's a pile of people who upped the production value and excitement, but their videos are like ... Sponsored part delivery + montage install + stall on test drive + maybe go to the drag strip or dyno. The technical problem solving is way better. That's basically you and maybe legit street cars.
Your individuality, your sense of humor, your choice of vehicles, your editing skills, in short, all of those things that you feel keep you from being mainstream, are the very reasons I watch and support your work. You videos are not only entertaining, they are inspiring.
You have so much integrity as a creator and are one of the few that I can look back years and still feel the content has stayed just as genuine! Also no other creator in this field has halfway decent music which is underrated when it’s 80% of most videos
Your followers love what you do. And yes, you could outsource video editing and bring in crew, but it more matters about what you want to do. And nice to see the Ranger again ! Its the reason why I started following you.
Sarah, legit, never stop being you or doing what you’re doing. You are 100% the reason that my neighbor and I have undertaken a full nut and bolt, bare metal, restoration of his 1992 R32 GTR. Trying to do it with the same attention to detail and OCD level as you. You have a big fan here in Sydney, Australia!
Personally, I find your real-world approach to these videos refreshing. Hope you never change that. Give it to us straight (warts and all). Thanks for all you do and keep up the great work!
I've been working on cars for 55 years and still find your videos interesting and fun to watch. They can teach people who aren't so mechanically minded how to attack things, what to look for and using correct tools for the job (many people wouldn't know some of the tools exist and just resort to hammers). If you like doing what you are doing and can afford to keep doing it, - keep doing it. Watching from down here in NZ.
Algorithms don't know people, and we humans are fickle sometimes, but the fact you have as many subscribers as you do, shows what a fantastic job you do of your videos. Please don't change, you're great as yourself. Love and respect from the UK ❤️🙏
I watch you because you're funny as fuck, and every once in a while you show me a new trick. You show the stuff nobody else but Chris Fix shows, and that's how I found you. I don't even remember what it was, but you're the only channel that showed how to do something that most people would take for granted. ...and some of us are kinda weirded out by ChrisFix's refusal to show his face. The big thing here is we're here because you're you. You squeeze in little bits that don't 'belong', you interact on live streams, you're just so seemingly genuine.
As a former Ford, Lincoln-Mercury mechanic, I'm truly impressed with your Ranger project. It looks showroom fresh! Those OEM parts must have been hard to find and expensive. Bravo 👏
The attention to detail, plus finishing your projects (!) is what keeps me watching. One thing I would love to see more of is driving the finished car (pov or onboard) but I don't know how the general audiences feel about that
I don’t know how one goes about growing their YT channel, but I’ve been watching your videos for years, enjoying learning from you and also enjoying your humor and creativity. What you refer to as your OCD looks to me more like dedication to getting things right. Your depth of knowledge and skill is impressive, and I hope you solve the future direction conundrum without making any major changes. (I realize it would be an alteration, but what about a spray-in liner for the pickup?)
As time goes on, by making garbage dopamine hit 7 second shorts. Content creators like myself might not exist 5 years from now if RUclips doesn’t reverse its course.

I’ve gone back to your early videos lately. It’s pretty cool to see how far you have progressed in planning and creating content.

I think you're Great and Doing just Fine! No worries! You will succeed more.
It’s not that we are not interested in what you are doing, we are interested in who you are. You and your content are amazing!! ❤❤❤
So, for many of us, it's the details that makes us love your channel. Ya know, the stuff other channels skip over. I hope you can keep having fun and also make enough money to keep this all going for a long time to come.
Keep doing you!
Your viewers appreciate your videos because it’s not mainstream. Thanks for your work.
Take care and many blessings!
Love you Sarah. I don't want to know what life is like without Sarah-n Tuned.
Sarah, don’t quit what you’re doing, please! Us guys in the UK love your videos and your skills, there’s no one like you and we love you over here!
Hope you are hanging in there 🙏 just the greatest channel 😊and you’re the hardest working creator for sure 👍
Don’t change!! I watch your channel because you show your struggles, ocd, and things most channels would never show. Keep being yourself!!
Especially enjoy the family connection videos like this truck and your sisters XTerra.
Your individuality, your sense of humor, your choice of vehicles, your editing skills, in short, all of those things that you feel keep you from being mainstream, are the very reasons I watch and support your work. You videos are not only entertaining, they are inspiring.
Need more people like dr Sarah !!!
..and you have almost 600k subscribers...we wre here for your content..in your time.
You have so much integrity as a creator and are one of the few that I can look back years and still feel the content has stayed just as genuine! Also no other creator in this field has halfway decent music which is underrated when it’s 80% of most videos
Don't change. Your channel is right the way it is.
Bravo 👏
Don’t change a thing! I still learn from you every video.
The attention to detail, plus finishing your projects (!) is what keeps me watching. One thing I would love to see more of is driving the finished car (pov or onboard) but I don't know how the general audiences feel about that
FRESH CUTS, hair looks nice. Life isn't that complicated, don't change a thing if you're happy and keep putting the truck content out please!
@@SarahnTunedgood point and sad. As we humans progress to having the attention span of a goldfish 😢. I really appreciate your videos and the effort you put into all your work.
I sure hope that doesn’t happen; not just for the creators’ sake, but also for our waning ability to focus and think. This scrolling/short video/news crawler culture is ludicrous. I’ve gone back to your early videos lately. It’s pretty cool to see how far you have progressed in planning and creating content.
Stay being you. There's a whole world of normal out there who wants to see a no BS normal. No collaboration with other youtubers, no special one offs or over the top rubbish for the views. Just stay being the Sarah you are.
Don't worry about the small stuff. Just be yourself, and the show will go on. 🤠🤠
Sarah,I watch all your content, even the projects that I am not overly excited about. Your work ethic ,your knowledge, ocd, and sense of humor make every video a must watch.
Thank you for putting out your videos.
I will always watch them.
