As a world traveler, most people don't hates us. It's quite the opposite. Most people I ran across were kind, friendly, and polite. The rudest nationalities that I experienced were: Chinese, French, and most African countries, especially Nigerians. The kindest were: Russians, Australians, Indonesians, Vietnamese, Germans, and Europeans (westernized countries).
I no longer dwell on such topics because I’ve come to understand that despite the truth being in plain sight, some will not hear it no matter how many times it’s right in front of them.
When you go this kind of countries and gets served food from their kitchen, what stops them from spitting in to your food? You get served with all worst things. I only buy food that is prepared directly in front of me. I have worked in the kitchen and it is ugly.

If the locals do not live with people who look and act like you then it is almost impossible to get them to like you. I’m British born, of Black Jamaican parents. When I hear my Black American cousins saying how much safer and more relaxed they feel in Europe, I simply shake my head. Yes, they are definitely safer in the UK, and perhaps Holland, and the Scandinavian countries; but outside of those places, no way. The southern and eastern parts of continental Europe are particularly dangerous for Black people. Personally, you would have to pay me a bazillion £s to set foot on any part of continental Europe.

We took cameras to film those matatus calling clients. 2 security guards approached me and told me I couldn't film there. I was on a work trip so filming wasn't my main gig, so I cooperated and stopped. They told me that's not enough, I said sure let me delete the footage. They said not enough, u could go to jail. They called their supervisor, she checked my phone for all the footage to make sure I deleted them. I cooperated all the way. I was born in Africa and knew how nasty it can get. I was with an Indian dude and he was shocked that I cooperated because I had a foreign strong passport. On any case that's my personal experience. Then another time in Mombasa, on that ferry I wanted to take some footage. A police officer approached a driver I was with that I can take a few pics but no film. Now, to Kenyas defense, there had been a lot of terror attacks in public places and I think that's what motivated that rule to avoid random people taking videos. But those are facts...mate

There was a time not too long ago when African-Americans had what was once called a "passport privilege" and actually treated better than Black people from other parts of the world or even other white tourists . Having lived in or traveled in much of Europe over several decades, I would say most people are fine, many are friendly, but there are a minority who definitely don’t like outsiders or anyone who looks different. And enough of them will take it upon themselves to cause you trouble. There are too many historical and media reasons for this to go into, but there are some places to just avoid and other places where you can go but be aware of your surroundings. And, when traveling in a new area, I strongly advise you to be with a local person you trust.

I lived in Zagreb for 6 months in the 90’s. Oh they were a war torn humble people then. This is when the United Nations had to intervene. Having lived in or traveled in much of Europe over several decades, I would say most people are fine, many are friendly, but there are a minority who definitely don’t like outsiders or anyone who looks different. And enough of them will take it upon themselves to cause you trouble.
There are too many historical and media reasons for this to go into, but there are some places to just avoid and other places where you can go but be aware of your surroundings.
And, when traveling in a new area, I strongly advise you to be with a local person you trust.

I simply cannot understand what is so alluring to in croatia, that black people insist on going there.
During my life i have accumulated a number of regrets about things I did or didn't do, however, I can guarantee, not ever going to croatia won't be one of them.
I lived in Zagreb for 6 months in the 90’s. Oh they were a war torn humble people then. This is when the United Nations had to intervene. I didn’t have a problem because I was there with 1000’s of troops. Now that they have become a tourist destination (thanks to many Black soldiers, sailors and airman) they want to act uppity. They all turn on us in the end and in the end they can all hold their own nuts.
