Atna med packraft 2024

Filmen visar turen 11 till 13 juli 2024 då vi paddlade de 20 km älv uppströms Atnasjön till cirka 8 km efter sjön samt de 4 sista km på Atna innan den flödar ut i Glomma. Nice. My Swedish being very rusty (if not almost non-existent), did I understand correctly that the reason for not paddling the middle stretch of Lower Atna was that water level was high due to rain?

Yes. Lots of rapids that we classed as at least III in our water level. If we've been a bigger group with more experience this part would be really nice. When you run a river for the first time it's hard to know which holes etc that might be a potential hazard. So it took us to much time in scouting, portaging for our time schedule. I'm looking forward to return and give it a second shot, but with more time and experience.
