Autologue Design Reck Fairing Warning Heads up. My experience. Below is my reply to them when asked how I liked it.
Unfortunately, It was not resolved, after 16 to 18 weeks I gave up, I was tired of going back and fourth with them, the fairing is on my bike and looks ok and performs ok but it is not square and still not installed as it was designed to be, it sits closer to the tank on one side than the other and the fairing its higher on one side than the other. The issue is marked as resolved because I gave up and told them its fine and I felt bad for the lady I was dealing with. This issue was not close to be resolved, I just tossed in the towel, their tech who I sent vids to didn't watch them and answer my questions. The product was damaged in shipping, they gave me a 100 bucks towards getting it painted but it cost me 300 bucks to get it repaired. It was weeks and weeks after pictures and vids to show them that the mounting bracket was bad. The Welds on the bracket were terrible the original frame where the windshield mounts was 3/4 of an inch longer on one side than the other, ( how does that get past quality control) the bracket did not sit square when you put it on the floor (sat on an angle and bobbled corner to corner) and if you put a level across the top of the bracket it was not level. The mounting plats/points that bolt to the internal part of the fairing that are beside the head light on both the original and new revised bracket/frame would not line up to the bolt holes on the inside of the fairing, at this point I realized the fairing was probably bad as well, I suggested that to them in a vid but no reply to that issue. (what company does not have quality control inspection before they ship a product, how did something like that even get shipped, raises big questions about quality control and fit and finish) I could only get one bolt in to the fairing on each side of the head light, probably why the fairing sits higher on one side than the other. Maybe they are better now but when you consider how much I have in to the cost with shipping from India to Canada and the paint repair and the import tax I have a lot of money in this. The windshield has bubbles in it, the Solo seat cover has marks in it like they bubble wrapped it before the paint or clear coat was properly dried. They make to order I was supposed to get it in 6 weeks it was 12 or 13 weeks before I got it, then it was another 4 to 6 weeks dealing with them trying to get the parts replaced. They seemed to try but it was like they were trying to put Band-Aids on it or they didn't want to admit fault. The Windshield has bubbles in it, is that acceptable, a paint job that has imperfections it it from packaging, is not acceptable either. You are suggesting, "is it possible I made a mistake". Don't get me wrong I do understand why you would ask that but honestly, it was really bad, so bad I just cut my losses accepted a not great product and moved on. I was sad I had to do that because it is a beautiful fairing. Anyway that is my experience and I know others have had similar experience with the Reck fairing. Maybe I got a one off and the others, who when I asked if it was worth it, they replied with "no" also got one offs. Mistakes happen, I get it but I sent them picture and vids and getting new parts from them was like pulling teeth I asked questions and I know the guy didn't even read them or watch the vids I sent because there were specific questions I asked in the vids and showed problems in the vid and he didn't answer questions or address the issue. To me and I guessing but it seemed like the people I was dealing with were very nice, a lady and a couple of, for lack of a better word, Admin staff or management were very good and nice but the tech person was not great, this is my perception only. There was not just one or 2 things wrong, there was a list. Bad twisted frame, revised frame mount points did not line up with fairing mounting points, Inconstant placement of mounting tabs on frame, tabs were too high or welded twisted forward or back, bad windshield with thousands of tiny bubbles in, every time I look at the windshield it looks like it has dirt all over it because of all the bubbles in it, under sunlight the marks on the solo cover show up really really visible, fairing is crooked, could only get one bolt in to the fairing on each side of the headlight but designed for 2 bolts for each side, had to have the fairing re painted, by the way the fairing also had manufacturing paint flaws in it, remember I had to get it repainted because of shipping damage, they chose the shipper they should have taken responsibility for it. I have restored a few motorcycles in my time, I am an Elevator mechanic, so I do have mechanical experience and I'm also an information Technology tech, mounting a fairing is something that is definitely in my realm of capability. Its marked as resolved because it takes along time to wright clear emails to explain the issues and I sent lots of them, it takes time to make good vids that are 10 and 15 min long and upload them so they can be viewed to help them as much as possible help me, only to learn they didn't even look at them, I just didn't have time any more it was not worth it, in Canada Riding season is short and this fairing left me with out a motorcycle for a very big portion of that riding season. I was tired of the emails and vids blablabla, so I told them, as I didn't want to offend anyone as the lady seemed to be doing her best. I told them it was fine at this point. I am sorry if I have offended you my apologies but this is my experience. Very sorry I do not recommend this product to anyone Sorry Sorry Sorry. Karl Squire.

Work on performance rather than look brother......its already cool.....pick a goal ....my goal is to cross 240 on this through performance mods....fairing is just an illusion that we love in the beginning so that it will look cool...😂😂enjoy it hard...make it lighter as possible ....mine is only 180 to 86 87 with full fuel...try aluminum or magnesium parts...cheap and durable...keep it raw as possible..

Put money into performance,,its already well designed...this fairing money could have been used for powertronic or other things that really matter....make it a sleeper build....it can be upgraded into 850 with just 80000 to 90 thousand ..remap ecu ..and thank me later ....love from punjab..
