This is definitely a fantastic goal no credit taken away from Daniel one of the best goals for sure. BUT chronic did make a poor decision/maybe comms because jack was already behind him as last man so chronic definitely could’ve gone to challenge
retals is right, not the most impactful but that is definitely the highest skill rlcs goal we’ve seen it was a perfect 3v1, dan didn’t waste a single movement or particle of boost
10:50 chronic had jack behind him, the "wait for drop to ground then 50" idea seems like bad idea especially considering how literally everyone in RLCS can and will use flip resets automatically. What Daniel did so well was his first touch; the flip reset that followed, anyone in RCLS could do. Chronic could've and probably should've challenged high, and whatever happened to the ball, jack behind him (clearly heard and seen moving in behind chronic) could deal with. By slowing down, chronic made a mistake and allowed the goal in. Due to the fact that the goal only went in due to a fairly "bad" mistake, I can't really agree it's the best ever scored in RLCS. But its pretty insane for us none pros regardless. Personally, the "Best goal" actually need to score high on "unsavability", and that is very lacking with daniels shot. It was... very savable.
I think Chronic being outside the net is the questionable part of his defense. He has a little less time to react because he was outside the goal. Great goal and would still be hard to react to it in time, had he been in net.
ur delusional if u think he couldve reacted to that. even if he reacted to it its like 4 cars above his car and he would have to aerial WAY faster than is possible. the only way to stop this shot was to challenge before the reset happened
wow it seems everyone fergot about the Zen hanging in the air redirect or the squichy signature shot what still is crazy not only the execution but also the mind game that goes with it.. i but see why its hard to make 1 choice because this is also one we will remember for years. IMO it wasnt his plan to 180 but the recovery and the catch also finishing it with style is damn good!!!
Well those shots while are amazing, are nowhere near the level of mechanical skill it takes to do this shot. Most pros can do a redirect like Zens(Yes it did take skill to think of staying in the air), but very few could do Daniels, especially in grand finals ot
I think the “scorability” factor is what makes this goal insane and Zens as well. Most if not everyone would never think Daniel is scoring the OT winner while backwards and all of Geng in front of him. We all went from “oh awkward touch” to “wtf just happened”
Easily number 1 in my book. It has so much in one shot. Soft controlling first touch, reverse take off, pre-flip, air dribble, flip reset for an overtime game winner in the Grand Finals, against 2 opponents.. insane.

@@jacksonmagas9698 nah he clearly was playing no reset from Daniel, he probably just assumed that the only way Daniel would beat him if he pulled off the greatest shot of all time... which he did.
Chronic still won the series
@@SlottedSteve The only way his position is better than being slightly further back and rotating through goal line is if he is going to challenge, which he didn't do.
Epic
This is definitely a fantastic goal no credit taken away from Daniel one of the best goals for sure. BUT chronic did make a poor decision/maybe comms because jack was already behind him as last man so chronic definitely could’ve gone to challenge
retals is right, not the most impactful but that is definitely the highest skill rlcs goal we’ve seen
it was a perfect 3v1, dan didn’t waste a single movement or particle of boost
815 he did turn backwards on purpose he started turning in the air before the ball hit him
10:50 chronic had jack behind him, the "wait for drop to ground then 50" idea seems like bad idea especially considering how literally everyone in RLCS can and will use flip resets automatically.
Honestly, I think Atow and Rise is a really big contender for best 2v2 team
They farm Zen and Vati on stream
People are going to remember where they were when this goal happened let's put it like that
nah just recency bias. Still amazing shot tho
Guys I individually wrap my Chicken Nuggets for school.
Insane control by Daniel but chronic has to challenge lol. He’s got Appjack behind him for days that’s na defense in a nutshell tho
wow it seems everyone fergot about the Zen hanging in the air redirect or the squichy signature shot what still is crazy not only the execution but also the mind game that goes with it.. i but see why its hard to make 1 choice because this is also one we will remember for years.
IMO it wasnt his plan to 180 but the recovery and the catch also finishing it with style is damn good!!!
Squishys shot is legitimately mid
Well those shots while are amazing, are nowhere near the level of mechanical skill it takes to do this shot. Most pros can do a redirect like Zens(Yes it did take skill to think of staying in the air), but very few could do Daniels, especially in grand finals ot
Zen hanging in the air was cool because he thought of it. Not because it was particularly difficult
I think the “scorability” factor is what makes this goal insane and Zens as well. Most if not everyone would never think Daniel is scoring the OT winner while backwards and all of Geng in front of him. We all went from “oh awkward touch” to “wtf just happened”
@@Xiwter i agree its insane both goals are so crazy thats why i cant make a clear choice as of 1 is better then the other for me they share nr1🤗🥰
Zen and Alpha are a very good duo everyone sleeps on them
My favorite
if zen scored it wed never hear the end of this goal thats facts
Definitely top 3 RLCS goals of all time, made me nod my head when I watched live. Idk what the top 3 is, but this may just be #1
Easily number 1 in my book. It has so much in one shot. Soft controlling first touch, reverse take off, pre-flip, air dribble, flip reset for an overtime game winner in the Grand Finals, against 2 opponents.. insane.
8:00 The goal (feer is isnt rambling finally)
