Best explanation of debit spreads by far, thanks a lot!
Fantastic vid! Short, sweet, and clear. OM killing it as usual. 💯
lower the gain/volume on that intro plz
In the money debit spreads? In theory, won’t theta decay make you money if the underlying doesn’t move much?
Love this OM! I will start with a long, let the next strike hit the original long price, then take the short at the same premium, basically making it a free position. I have found you want to be 3-5 days out at least
I love doin this! Locks in your profitronis!
@@OptionsMillionaire Yep. It’s a nice way to protect profits from overnight risk if you’re on a small margin account under PDT. Just need to be far enough out DTE for the short leg to not get hammered by theta. 3-5 DTE seems to be the sweet spot for me. The other benefit is if you get the usual IV spike and a gap in your direction overnight, not only have you locked in your initial profit from the long, you also continue to profit from the position going up. It’s an easy way to manage risk.
Notification Gang ! Thanks

How to manage a debit spread gone or going wrong by rolling out or other methods, thanks
What happens if you buy a debit spread that's in the money? Say on SPY you buy a spread with strike 430/431. You pay $81, and max reward is $19 (Just example numbers). Do you just let them expire in the money? Or do you need to close out before it expires?
Well, I only trade debit spreads and recenlty iron condors so lets see if this vid is helpfull :D
Thumbs up awesome. **Delta hedging*** next please? Cheers.
Good way to limit risk. Enjoy the videos!
Great video, thank you!
My brother does debit calendars primarily
Your brother is a smart guy!
Wow what a fantastic video
I've just started credit spreads. Now learning all the ins and outs of credit and debit spreads. What are the chances of helping me out of a rolled credit spread thats ITM if I sign up for Patron?
100% i can help!
@Options Millionaire problem is they expire tomorrow. Lol. I doubt I can get out without adding more capital and widening strikes and not sure I want to add to it. Damn bear bias got me here!
why do you call them "long puts?" How many different names do these options have? I was confused and got nothing from this video. The term long put is an oxymoron. What does the "long" mean?
Long puts are when you buy-to-open a put. Short puts are when you sell-to-open a put. Its imperative to know the difference when learning to play more advanced positions.
@@OptionsMillionaire so the word 'long' has two meanings. Long means price is going up. Long also means you are buying?
nice video
