Not at Domino’s, but many of the local pizza places around New Haven, CT offer mashed potatoes on pizza. In general in the Northeast I find that non-national chain pizza places get creative with toppings. I had things like spaghetti pizza, taco pizza, and Korean bbq pizza

I always get excited for your videos, especially the shopping/dining experiences. My daughter went to school in Korea and would travel to Japan for vacation. One of my favorite things is when she would take me shopping with her. If you could do videos on comparing their menus to ours like this dominoes one, I'd love it. I like to see the differences in menus with McDonalds, Starbucks, etc. I cannot wait to see the KFC video. Anything to live vicariously through you would be greatly appreciated! Merry Christmas! I'm not sure if anyone answered you but usually when in Japan anything is "campaign chu", it's basically a limited time / special menu. Hope that helps! Love your videos!!!
Omar sauce is a misnomer. The word in Japanese is オマール from the French word for lobster. Lol your order is basically what my family gets from Domino’s as well. Thanks the for interesting videos all the time. Gus Gus is the cutest!
We ordered pizza one of our first nights in Japan and was very surprised by the small size and more expensive price lol used to the big american pizzas!
A couple weeks ago I went to the big city to get my mom's meds at the hospital and I went by a big billboard promoting Dominos but I thought I had imagined it. Then I saw your video, Caitlin, and I wondered about it. Just now my brother confirmed my suspicions. We have the first Dominos in my district!😂 we live like 20plus km from the big city, but I will have to try it in the future once the world isn't as crazy. Also, I live in the central coast of Portugal, in a small town.
Love this video! And your Japan sounds really good. Those potatoes look fantastic. In regards to pizza favors, we have a cool one that is Memphis BBQ pizza. It has grilled chicken, BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, onions and bacon. I sometimes add pineapple, and it is fabulous.
You should try the shrimp pizza! In Portugal, that's a very common pizza to have, it's actually one of my favourites (they usually drizzle cocktail sauce on top). I know it sounds weird for people who never tried it before, but it's really good!

I love “weird” pizza toppings while here in the US Dominos doesn’t have these toppings; always check-out the hole in the wall pizza places. Lexington, KY PieTana has some amazing options for anyone looking to spice up their pizza nearby 😋 I would love to try sooo many of those pizzas, food and sights are definitely my number one travel goals 🙌🏻

In the UK, sweet corn and tuna are common on Pizza. My husband is British and misses corn on pizza. I’m from NY and I think plain or Pepperoni is the best pizza! Though for a short while I did enjoy pineapple and onion from a specific place when we lived near it. Pizza is so interesting to see how people top it. I dislike California Pizza Kitchen because it isn’t ‘pizza’ to me.... but I think that has to do with my NY side....

Yes very interested! Mayonnaise & corn seems the most unusual to me! Because we all know other cultures always put their own twist to things so I definitely expected the seafood one. But the mayonnaise & corn seems like they are trying to appeal to other people, if you know what I mean. I just doesn’t seem like that’s a “norm” for Japanese culture, so I feel like that would be the most interesting!

You should do some of the native pizzas! Shrimp, mayo, and corn sound like they would go well together and I've seen some other channels taste it to good reviews.

Their menu & pizza looks WAY better than it does here in the US. I was very impressed with the presentation of their menu as well as their what the final product looked like. Your pizza looked like a real NY style pizza. I would love to see you try the pizza with basil and the shrimp & mayo pizza. Those would be the first two I would want to try if I was able to. With Japan being closer to Guam, which where I'm originally from, I had a lot of interaction with not only the Japanese and their culture, but also with the products that they produce. I have so much love and respect for Japan. It's definitely at the top of my list of places to visit.

I just found this channel and now i’m hooked. i’m from new jersey, and with covid it is such an escape to watch your videos. Your very good at them! haven’t been on vacation in over a year at this point, and your content totally scratched that ich for the travel bug! oh and my italian husband would have a heart attack seeing this menu lol
Omg your potato wedges look like one's you'd make yourself, like actual proper potato! Ours are these awful processed things that are horribly dry and tasteless. They have so much on that we don't have in the uk. The pizzas are insane! I so want to know what those weird one's taste like for sure. We just have super normal stuff like it's mostly lots of different meats in very similar variations. And the sides are like 3 different types of chicken (spicy wings, spicy breaded rounds of processed chicken and some breaded processed chicken strip's), plus those nasty wedges, and super nice tortilla crisps in pizza sauce smothered in mozzarella. Even the puddings on the Japanese menu were way more extensive than ours. I'm super jealous right now! 😂 Although maybe it's a good job, I might be too tempted with their selection going on! Haha
Question: do you wear your coat indoors because it's chilly inside? Is indoor heating in winter common in Japan? Just curious. Thanks for another super interesting delve into daily life in Japan!

I honestly get kinda nervous BUT OK THIS IS A SIGN maybe I'll try ordering next week HAHA and also?? the coke ribbon?? only in japan

Get the quattro pizza, that way you can try 4 different types in one pizza. The only drawback about pizzas in Japan is it's expensive.
