He did a good trade, it’s hard to move super high end cards compared to what he got. Alt arts are super liquid.
On the flip side some people would prefer moving a single banger card vs the time it can take to move a ton of lower end! Not to mention the debate of investing in vintage vs modern. Lots of angles to look at it 💪
@clovrcards I was just thinking the same thing. More cards means more time to sell each one.
@@clovrcardsyou got the better end of the deal respectfully. Those higher end cards dont move as fast and pretty much hit their ceiling where as what you have not only moves faster but also have room to grow. As a vendor you won the trade if you were collecting then i would say different .

The Rocket Box is a good play. If that new set Glory of Team Rocket is any good, it could send modern buyers looking for vintage. Because its not 1st Ed it could be more obtainable should you choose to do a box break, or sell packs individually. And make more than you have into it, especially if there is a demand maybe unlimited packs see a slight uptick in value.
Traded away some vintage grails, but the modern arts are more liquid and moving fast. I prefer the classics myself and looking for some for the PC, but on the business side, it made more sense to get things you can sell quickly vs something that is unlikely to sell quick.

I haven't had Pokémon Cards since I was in Junior High.. Back in the 2000 era.. LOL.. This is making me wish I held onto those cards and I should've asked my parents to buy me a LOT MORE!! LOL..
