I’m new to lolita fashion, I was finally ready to start collecting pieces last late summer! However, I’ve always felt like, how I liked to wear the fashion was “wrong” because I don’t necessarily strive for OTT. I feel like many, or maybe it’s just the people I’ve happened to follow - are super into the OTT look. Many also seem to prefer JSK’s, but I myself prefer OP’s as well like you - they’re a bit easier, and more friendly to my sensory issues. I really just want to wear a cute fluffy dress that’s comfortable, some frilly socks, adorable shoes and to top it off with a bow. I thought I was lazy! I guess I’m just a casual lolita! 😂 Also - glitter is amazing! 🥰✨

I keep getitng boxed into goth by newbies because I wear sweet in black whahaha. Bless u for putting the colours bit in! Don't know why I watched this because I've been wearing sweet for 8 years but you're just so adorable
really glad to see some lolita enthusiasts not covering their knees, as i feel a lot of the community is very particular and occasionally purist about the knees thing, which sucks for tall lolitas like me who can never find dresses to cover our knees c:
Yes i loved this!!! I think i have problems in seperating substyles like so far the general colors and motifs are the mayor differences i see to seperate sweet, goth, and classic besides that idk
Honestly when it comes to sub styles it gets a bit murky anyway XD most people I know stick to the main 3 and just add flair for variation. I dobt know anyone that sticks strictly to, say, pirate lolita or anything so I wouldn't worry about it too much! 💖

I ordered some dresses and accessories, but they'll be a while, so I'm trying to gather knowledge in the mean time. :) I'm doing this not just for myself, but my husband who loves all things cute and really encouraged me to take this plunge. So here I am. lol We love to dress up to go out, so I'll probably be doing the middle level there. And like you, wigs don't exactly work for me, so I'm happy to see cute hairstyles I can shoot for to go with it!
What other categories are you considering for this series? I like the look of sweet, but I think I lean more towards classic. I've found inspiration for sweet and gothic but classic is harder to find. Do you have any recommendations?

I tried devil inspired but the ones that I like are all sold out and i dont know how to use taobao and I looked at wunderwelt and closetchild but i dont think I can afford it and i couldnt put England for some reason? I also tried lace market but i dont have a PayPal account and i dont wanna ask my dad because he might judge me
Why would your dad jurge you for getting a PayPal account? And yeh you need a shipping serfice for taobao and wunderwelt, maybe try Bodyline? Its a lot cheaper! And you can buy direct! Ps love your hair! So cute🥰
Unicorn Princess we are getting back to normal slowly, a lot of places like malls are opening again with a lot of security and health measurements but schools are going to still closed, the fun things is because many people in the country don’t have a computer or access to internet l, the classes will be on tv and radio

@Trinity M XD I'm not mixing classic and sweet together, more of I like both classic and sweet and hence dress in both classic and sweet.
