The genuine surprise in your voice when you realize that you've slaughtered both of them is hilarious.
The moment you realize you are actually good in all this R(A)T mess xD D (A added with reforged), I call it RAT. rather ratty.
When you make heavy tower defense chokes it's good to make a lot of barracks or lumbermill on the front line of your base because they're the cheapest buildings with the highest HP and they block the most surface area. Blacksmith/ Farms are more like a secondary defense barrier because their hp is lower, research cancel and supply block are liability and they're too vulnerable from aoe. Shops and altar would be farthest back (or one shop in front for faster creeping/healing with your hero and one shop in back for siege defense purposes)
you can rebuild the altar, usually you will know ahead of time when you're outnumbered, the heros don't die quickly if you pay attention (and have stuff like invul pot), i usually have 1 worker ready midgame at my allies base when I see they are rushing me at the edge-pos. The altar is great in the beginning as part of a wall.
shop another thing, it can be really good far out to help creep and manage offensive play faster particularly on some of the giant 4s maps... if the game drags into a ally-never-help and nev.-map-control-on-your-side you can (re) build it in the back of your base
If that Orc player wasn't so laser focused on the Night Elf, they may have had a chance at the big battle at the Undead base, but I swear he had a grudge against him or something.

I think this was a genuinely good game played by both teams. I think the biggest downfall was the over-commitment by the Orc to harass. As effective as it was, I think he could have done more to contribute to the team fight if he had instead transitioned to all casters supporting his teams Knights, Crypts and Aboms.

the absolute right way to build your farms. ultra defensive.
this game was significantly better on your part and you played on multiple dimensions. its hard to recall moments in which you defend your teammate's expansion under any condition. the rate in which you do that is really really low. a more elastic game than i anticipated.
1 vs 2,5 players in base is very epic ❤
