@ Yeah the support for Kelly is just in opposition to Beyonce. It is funny because Kelly is everywhere doing interviews but her music career has stalled except for a few shows here and there. And even for her film career she is stuck with Tyler Perry and Lifetime films. If they supported Kelly enough, she would have been able to direct and produce and green-lit the Donna Summer biopic. But the demand is not there and no producer wants to risk it. Meanwhile Beyonce pulled Millions for Netflix on a country album that is not even her genre. I love Kelly so much and I want us to get better fans.

Kelly is such a goog actress. I want to see her as Donna and Gladys. They should also make a indy or tribute to Donna with her daughter Brooklyn playing her mom. I love Brooklyn as an actress she's so beautiful just like her mom. I worked at a hospital in Boston where Donna had previously worked in the Culinary Services as a teen. The Cafe manager always told me how much I reminded him of Donna. I told him I'd never heard that before but I do have a sister who looks like Donna who I do look like so I get it. He said I reminded him of her more so because she was so smart and beautiful and kind & he always new she was going places and he saw me in that same light. What a compliment!!!

Yes! I remember years back Wendy was the only one doing (almost) full episodes, with Hot Topics and full interviews uploaded. Then Sherri took over her show and kept it up with the full episodes. The Real tried as well but took some time. Tamron too.
I wish these shows would realise that they aren’t losing viewership by uploading full videos online. If anything, it widens the audience and allows people who aren’t in the US to watch, and brings in money too with ads.

She has or had a great relationship with her mom but she passed away
Her mother is dead. And when she was alive and Kelly was younger, her mother sacrificed time with her to help Kelly's dreams come true by letting Kelly lives with Beyoncé's family as their 3rd daughter (otherwise she wouldn't have been able to make it to rehearsals etc because she was a housekeeper and didn't have money like that). This also gave Kelly more stability. Kelly has spoken about this often and has been open about how she regrets not appreciating her mother's selflessness and instead resenting it. It's just that Ms Tina is the woman who raised her from 9 to adolescence and was consistent in her adulthood, so it makes sense that most of her memories and lessons are from that time

Her mom died and she is just now building her relationship with her dad within the last decade so it’s still kind of new . She talks about them in other interviews I’ve seen
Her father wasn't in her life so she has nothing of note to say about him from her childhood. Her mother was in her life but sporadically because she lived with Beyoncé's family for stability during the group (remember: DC formed when these girls were 9 years old. It would have been very difficult for a woman on a housekeeper's salary to travel to and from rehearsals, shows, gigs, lessons etc. One summer she dropped Kelly off at the Knowles and then all the adults agreed it was easier if she just continued to live with them. That's her FAMILY.)
I feel she smiles and acts so much like Beyonce to where it's exhausting. Wish we could see the real her.

Because there were times where those questions always took priority over whatever projects she was working on at the time… as an artist that can get very irritating. She probably wants interviewers to be respectful enough to center the dialogue on her, and then allow her to discuss Beyoncé and DC if she chooses. She can’t play second fiddle for her entire life lol
