This game is not welcome for solo players. I recommend it if you want to play this game. you need to have 5+ friends at least.
Solo play is definetly tougher to pull off.. but i always prefered it

I'm agree with you bro it's hard to be competitive in this game been a solo player mostly in black zone,if you want my advice try to master and focus on solo activity first like gathering, solo dungeon and corrupt D,and the mist the open world BZ is the last thing you want to do

one of sbi problems is like whats happening right now, theres a bug which the ui doesnt show when trying to plant seeds, places animals, laborers, furniture, etc. they fixed it on pc, yet us mobile players have been now 7 days, without a fix, no updates, info, all we got was next update, which is months away, so basiclly sbi has aid mobile players arent worth a patch to fix thr game
they suck but dont play on mobile there is a reason they dont value it get a compute even a cheap one

Albion is the most active game i've ever seen since maybe WOTLK.. This game isn't dead by any means. There are some things that need better rewards to encourage participation. IE: Crystal Arena, solo dungeons, group/statics, They need a better way of introducing HCEs and make them more accessible to people without having to spend 20+ mil on a set.

I like they are talking bout more frequent updates but i wish they geared some more of the for solo players, i love the game but i dont have time to grind alot in a structured setting all the time i may jump on a half hour to an hour every other day and all these guilds want people for required content, which i cant do alot.
There are a lot of guilds that accept more casual players. I am a member of a top 20 guild, and the only requirements they have is for me to attend a couple of CTAs a week (top), and of course to contribute to any defences or flash masses that happen while I am online. Overall, I do not feel pressure to play more than I want to - and I have a lot of ingame friends to do group content when I feel like it. Also, once you are in one of these guilds, the solo experience is way more enjoyable. You can actually farm or do tracking with a bit os safety, thanks to the alliance-owned territories and the constant presence of allies through the maps.
I would definetly recommend taking some time to find the right guild - but I do agree it is not worth it to become a ZVZ slave, so be careful with your choice :D
Nah it’s shit. It’s 100% pvp game that only supports big guilds and no lifer pvp people who win 80% of fights or feed on newbs and gatherers, the people who gather all the materials for the games. It’s a toxic piece of trash that I tried to like as best I could. Solo player can’t gather without death, can’t farm anything good without death, losing profit. Fuck ton better games out there. It’s sad I wish it was a good game because it’s so close yet so far away

people say albion is pay to progress but one of the main objective in any mmo is to progress your character, and the fact that you can pay to progress = pay to win I think. Albion has become more pay to win with the addition of 8.4, 120 mastery, awakened weapons because you used to be able to get 100 spec in everything and compete with 8.3 players in 8.1 but now it is impossible to win against 8.4 swiper with 120 mastery and an awakened weapon.
On the topic of streaming content SBI seriously shot themselves in the foot with the deletion of crystal leagues and low promotion of the hellgate system. Although this content isn’t similar to the normal experience of Albion’s open world content it’s great streamable content displaying high level play.
ALBION needs PvE content Without interfering of any kind PvP in it

in solo payers you need to go on mist content, ava roads and corrupted dungeons, there has a lot of content for solo, so just play the game and you discover its not unfair to solo player.

Devs think otherwise. Group content means more gear breaking -> more wallet draining. Gathering is so brainrottingly boring that without bots, the economy would suffer.
They don't care if bots are farming. Report them yourself. Nothing will be done .
I personally don't think so. Everytine I hop in our albion face book group, there are usually 2 or more newbie people looking for guild.
And since as time goes by, mobile phones are getting more and more optimize and affordable, a lot of mobile players in east are starting to join.
I have played the game for a month, I've been tricked out of 630 million silver, one guy named himself as my gm and tricked me into trading him 400m silver and my masterpiece mammoth for 174m
Then this guy in Lymhurst repair station area spammed me with duel requests over 60 times until i accidentally accepted . Then he went to edge of duel ring switched spots like Mike tyson, used a wind push to knock me out of the duel srea and then he feared me so i ran out of the duel area.. far, he stole over 29 million silver from me on that.
Yet it's still my favorite game.
I once again dropped out of AO, not for good, but for a while at least. It's just not worth paying such an expensive premium price for a game that is not even close to be a AAA. Not to mention the fact that the devs clearly cater more and more to credit card swipers. If that's good for the game, so be it. But it's definitely not good for me.
I thing that Albion need's more space to be a sandbox, not just that, but gave players more achiviments, the only achive that a solo player can have is Just a better set, that's not a sandbox If i can't talk with NPCs to help a castle for been atack in the middle of nowere, u known, things like that.
Albion need quests like Red dead redemption and a better battle sistem. One thing that i would love is battles in horses, or some type of mount that u can use some wapons but nerfed, something like that
My friend im gonna tell you something, Albion need a lot of time to do and level up something I have played it for two and an half year, Life and responsabilities always change and change us, Albion in nowdays is not giving a real new content i played in group alone and play every aspect of the game. as a veteran player im gonna take a big break of it. why? theres no reason to play for me. only crafting but about history and new content ? believe is a worse experience play somehting for obligation and not for fun.

Question of you, Mogdone: Are you already played Guild Wars 2? Even as Albion player myself (so many games I had to play which leave little to less extra time for me to continue playing Albion), I found GW2 way better as an MMO specially due to its action combat system (which is one of my biggest selling points to me) as opposed to Albion's LoL-style combat system, plus it has more variety of explorations. Not only that, GW2 has more achievements to do than what Albion had offered. Maybe one day, once I finally bought my gaming laptop, I finally played that game (and if not yet, wish GW2 will soon had mobile crossplay too)
What worries me is that why MMOs need to have FULL-LOOT upon dying, which alone is the biggest downsides of being MMO itself for casual players

I came back recently after a while and my first reaction was "BRO WHAT? Premium is 18 mil now it used to be 4 mil💀💀💀" but yeah, i play and then i quit when i feel like progress i am making not worth the time because i always wanted to buy prem with ingame currency but was never able to reach that point and also don't feel like buying sub is worth it for me

99% of the time I have watch streamers in the background for drops. So 24h streamers are very nice. They are not taking away from your views, because people are not "watching" them to watch them.

Hi, my albion account just got hacked and i lost all my silver, gold and items. I wrote to support about this and changed my password and am waiting for a response, do you think I will be able to get my silver and items back or is it not possible? I am devastated by this situation and would like to know if you know what the support response is regarding account hacking?

Despite the dev's best efforts, the game is still kicking.
Also , i am reading about people that are complaining its pay to win ? What are you talking about .... ALL the gear can be bought at AH , nothing is soulbound .... So you can stay in your t5 zone , doing mist, get a few millions and just buy what u want. Someone want to buy gold to get a T8.3 , fine , but if he die he is losing it (depend where). It might not be much , but i have a T8.1 Mastercraft weapon and i almost never left the t5 zone. And when i do , its mostly all in T4 ...
The game is 100% pay to win, I could achieve more doing a day's overtime and buying gold than I ever could playing for that time.
I'd come home and instantly start enjoying the content others have spent the day grinding for before they will.

I just wish red zones would be like if you die you lose all inventory and some silver.. i think losing everything is a big loss of players..now black zone tho... should be full drop..

I dont think so , we are a group of 6 that just started about 3 weeks ago. And from what i am reading in the main channel , seem like there is many new players. So i would say no. But i agree about more solo stuff , also it would be nice to have a different variant for solo dungeons instead of always the same 4.
I don't get why people say the game pvp is what makes it good since ; the weapons are not balanced at all .Some are straight up better than others in every situations, mists have potential to be fun but you'll eventually run into a one shot combo that is just lame to play against, uninteractive and no counter play . On top of that , the lag can make you miss skill shot that should have hit , and compared to LOL for exemple it straight up feels wanky . Also nerfs on a weapon strangely makes this part of the game p2w aswell, since fame farming is WAY easier to do with money so someone with a big bank account can just be a meta slave and max the weapon of the patch , again and again. Im waiting for that "git gud" comment because unless proven otherwise , players can't handle people making constructive critics about the game.
You should be looking around for other games Mog. From the updates , content creator program, and round table. SBI finds a way to fumble the ball on all the above.

If they don’t deal with the radar hacks and naked Ox bots over time that will bust the game. The game is full loot, the supposed value lost/gained in full loot can potentially push solos out. Just my opinion tho. I’ve played solo since mobile launch.

wouldn't surprise me if it is dying as if you want to leave yellow zone and go to mists or black zones or ava roads it's full loot pvp and no limits like in corrupted dungeons so any new player that goes to any of these zones and dies and looses all their items and gear and don't have the silver to replace anything they'll just quit after a few days to a week for a new player at most. main ones who play are the pvp players who take advantage of new and less experienced players killing them in the mists sitting there in tier 8.4 waiting on someone to walk into a camp.
I tried my best to love this game. The pvp is just had though. It’s 100% setup to support no lifer big guilds and that’s all. Only 30% of players will profit long term from pvp.
1、Introduce a new zone type where if players die within this zone, they will only drop one to two pieces of equipment (all items in their bag can be dropped, if concerned about impacting the economy system). This will provide a buffer for beginners transitioning between the black zone and yellow zone. Many new players(one of my friends), when killed for the first time, may have all their belongings on them, which can easily lead to frustration and even quitting the game. I even suggest considering implementing this mechanism directly for the red zone.
2、Weapon balance, new weapons are always overpowered(like prowling staff's 3rd Q), some old weapons are underpowered/no damage/damage is too linear, lacking the ability to secure kills or deliver impactful finishing blows (like frost staff) for pvp. Some builds is simply invincible. If it can defeat you, then you cannot escape. However, if you manage to defeat it, you still cannot catch up to it.
3、The ranged weapons in this game require higher playability to compete with melee weapons, but they have a lower margin for error. I believe that ranged weapons should be more agile compared to melee weapons. One way to balance this could be by increasing the health or defense of melee weapons, while providing better mobility options for ranged weapons. This would help create a more balanced gameplay experience between the two weapon types.

The first suggestion aims to provide a suitable area for casual PvP players. Even as a player with over 4000+ hours of experience, I still hesitate to hang around the black zone wearing 8.3/8.4 gear (it feels terrifying). However, the random drop of one to two pieces of equipment upon death is more acceptable. The yellow zone caters to players who do not enjoy PvP, while the black zone is for hardcore PvP players. We do need a zone specifically designed for casual PvP players. Many people, like myself, only dare to hang around in yellow zone if I'm wearing 8.3/8.4 gear🥲
I love it, I don't think it is dying.
Solo players like me play for a few months then quit. Everyday farm in blue & yellow zone. Enter red zone, you're dead, get looted, start from zero again. So there, albion offer tons of contents, but limit it with player's nature. So, solo players are caped to T5 only. Everybody usually start with solo. Being caped at T5, after months, getting bored, then quit. This usually happens with MMO sandbox game, died on players. Yeah there are some fanatic players, but that is just it. I think that full drop equipments should only be implement in certain arena only.
So what's the difference between GW2 and Albion in this case?

How to fix the game:
1)Remove Full-loot pvp.
2)Remove the need for Armor Repair.
3) Remove Pay to Win.
4) Add more PVE content, that is COMPLETELY separate from PvP.

Albion online is so close yet so far away from being a good game. If your going to do 100% pvp game with huge losses per death, then don’t design the entire game to only benefit 10% of your player base.
They need more content, less players per map or more zones with less killing every single thing you see. Like red zones only better or done correctly and punish PVPer. Allow solo players actual gathering content. Make places where noobs can pvp solo and actually learn without spending 1 hour to fight. I don’t mind losing profit on death just do instant respawn with gear.
I have just about left. The whole thing is very hostile to players with very few rewards. Everything is hard. It becomes hard work, I don't want to work hard in a game. I want to enjoy it. It is becoming too much of a grind and more of a stress to gain some enjoyment out of it. AND TOO MANY BOTS! I reckon a lot of the issues would be fixed if the bots got wiped.
Agreed if anything will kill the game off eventually it’s the bot problem. I’ve only played mmos from large devs, this is my first small dev so I sometimes wonder if they will ever address the issue. The bot problem is terrible for a game like this. I’ve played since mobile launch in 2018 or so.

The game is really not welcoming to new players but thats mostly the community fault and not the game, while you have players with 25million gear running half a mist to kill a dude with 15k gear just trying to farm might for a weekly chest. In this case i must say, dont Blame the game, Blame the player. If you are solo your chances to stop playing are way bigger Simple cause of This fact.
A way of fixing This in my opinion would be IP restriced areas, that would make it way more fair and overall fun cause the battle would be tougher and more skill based and not just players running and get shot in the back.
The absurd price increase of premium in silver makes the game incredibly hostile to any would be f2p. You have to pay for premium now.
as a cross region and regular asian player (which means i dont have top PC equiments or internet speed)
this game recently comes with lots problems
1. cross region connection is getting worse, i've been played for over 3-4 years of time，so i'm fully aware whats with my ping.
however, recently my ping keeps jumping from 200-216 up to 293 - 305 for no reason。
it end up when i played the game, my charater cant move at all.
which mean when i in black zone, i will be killed without any re-action, even in yellow zone, i have spend lots silvers for repair.
2. bot / hacker / work shop makes the game unfaire,
it doesnt matter u play in yellow zone or black zone, once u face them , u'll lose for no reason.
3. economic is collaping!! nor just players try to monopoly the markets, but with bot players, all materials are gets cheaper and cheaper. as player like me whom hardly have time to learn gaming 、weapon、armors systems, it would be difficuly for us to get silvers in the game.
4. and finally, SBI really dont cares about players gaming experience, all they cares about is income.
some ppl might said : why dont u play in asian server.
well, as an elder player, i've spend so much time and effort in this game (which now belong to west sever),
it's not easy to start all over again, unless u r wealth enough to spend thousand of dollars and time to invest on a game with lots problems.

Go join a guild, my guild has a daily content of t8 roaming with gathering tools, we'll gather all the t8 nodes and contest chests, and if you die reqearable. This is good because there are not many in our group t8 gathering but it is lootsplit.
Bruh..just farm in safe zones. Earn enough silver and just buy the things you need. Yes, it will take a long time but you will get there. It's not a race. You're rushing too much. Haste makes Waste
I dunno, but I hope it's dying and will die soon. Right now it's nothing a robbery simulation game. Hopefully some of the developers would build another similar game, pick up where albion left off and make a better one. The one that also consider solo pve players that want more of the roleplaying side of the game.

Albion Online is a toxic playground for pay2win trolls. And the developers ONLY make content for full-loot lethal zones. Which makes the game one-sided and BORING!
Also the fact that the game punishes you for getting better armor. The higher your armor rank, the bigger your repair bill will be if you die. Putting us at 312 thousand silver currently for every death while wearing 8.4 armor. Which is complete GARBAGE system. Why would you PUNISH anyone for being the best? They should just remove the armor repairs altogether. It's an antiquated sytem anyway. Found only in dinosaur mmorpg.
