I know it's all a joke, but a correction: the straw/ filter you built isn't filtering out bacteria, only particulate floating in the water. You'd still need to boil it. Also you built a filter not a straw. The idea is to let the water slowly run trough it and with each layer finer particulate gets removed. Just leaving this here in case anyone tries this IRL ^^

I know it's all a joke, but a correction: the straw/ filter you built isn't filtering out bacteria, only particulate floating in the water. You'd still need to boil it. Also you built a filter not a straw. The idea is to let the water slowly run trough it and with each layer finer particulate gets removed.
