    Notes:
[1] The same word as Cloudbreak Temple.
[2] Originally 鲁爷 (Lu Ye) but since I don’t like him and his surname comes from 鲁莽 (Lu Mang) that means ‘reckless’ I had to put an ugly yet similar-sounding surname on him just like how the official localization team would put a random English name on NPCs lol. It’s a little difficult to explain the concept of surname + ‘ye’ but ‘master’ is the closest I could get. Though ‘Mr.’ would work too, but the ‘ye’ in this context is kinda like how you address someone with some power that you won’t wanna offend (e.g. gangster) so I hope ‘master’ somehow shows the form of ‘respect’. Please let me know if you can think of another term to address him!
[3] 大人有大量 is something that is said by someone who puts themselves in an inferior position, praising for the mercy/ kindness of the other party in hopes for forgiveness or for them to fulfill a certain request. I also recently learnt that “Being the bigger person” means always doing the right thing, even if someone else is being childish.
    [4] Main Story Chapter 6 flashbacks…
[5] 守岁 (Shousui) is a Chinese tradition, where people stay up overnight on the eve of Chinese New Year. There are two traditional meanings: the elderly will “bid goodbye” to the previous year, that has the meaning of treasuring time, and the younger ones will do it with the meaning of wishing for their parents’ longevity.

Thank you so much for the translation!
The card is incredibly beautiful both in story and in art!
    I was crying watching it😭
And though it would be best for the events to end with the story for a more beautiful and meaningful ending, it’s still quite nice to read an after story to dry the tears)
