I love how this band made one the most joyful songs I ever heared (Alba) and then they make this hardcore bagpipe metal with brainshaking dubstep drop in the middle, ending with sad, existencial message throughout the clip. Art man.
I first heard The Sidh in 2019. It was September 5th, Southport NC. I was on 2 gel tabs and Hurricane Dorian was passing over. As Iridium came on I could feel the energy behind it. I cranked my headphones and stood on my porch in 60+ mph winds and everything felt synched. I fell in love right then. Keep making killer music brothers! 🤘
Highly produced, lots of incredible imagery & imaginative story telling but the main riff never changes between songs . . . only the tempo & the instruments playing the riff change. It becomes monotonous once you notice it. This is a fun band & I wish the best for them. I hope to see their music evolve.
