as someone who doesnt really play DDR, but loves reading the charts, this chart is incredibly aesthetically pleasing to watch with all of the non-typical notes and interesting patterns, like the blue/yellow section at 0:40.

I just looked at this chart in Arrowvortex, because I was trying to figure out how the arrows could've changed color outside of exclusively-done programming for this chart. on the cab. Turns out they kept the BPM the same for those parts, but offset it a note back based on the colors they wanted.
Ex. 1:15 Where all the notes are orange, this color represents the 64th snapping for the notes in Stepmania. Essentially, the point in which the BPM switches over to 400 is actually a 64th of a note earlier than when it's supposed to be, making all of these notes 1/64th notes while the BPM still being correct and in time with what would've been red notes. At least based on the SM charts, assuming the original charter did the same for the official game, they intentionally offset the notes in such a way to where the notes would not only be this color, but it still accurately be in time with the music. the only real downside to this technique however, is that the point at which the arrows flash will now be 1/64th of a beat off. But this chart is evidence that that doesn't affect the playability of the chart too much, if at all. Especially with how fast 400BPM is, and how active those parts are, the player will not be needing the timing assistance from the flashes being 1/64th of a beat off. It flashes too fast to be an accurate gauge of the player's timing
Edit: I looked at it again and did some research on it. It wasn't the BPM shift that caused it, although it was indeed still timed to the 1/64 beat at that point to double the scroll speed. What caused it was the stop before it. The stop lasted just long enough to offset the chart to make them Orange / Green, etc without offsetting the timing. The BPM shift was just there to adjust the scroll speed

On Note, yes (all notes are green). On Rainbow, no. You still get that semi-dynamic color scheme, which is why some players opt to pick that for this song, as well as CHAOS.

Vivid or flat, flat is well without all theses color changing that it can confuse you. Vivid can helps you following the rhythm regardless 4/4 position

They're intended as crossovers but you can double step to make them normal patterns. Most of the time, you would need to double step with your left foot

The two full stops before that are the culprits. They're 1/32th longer than they should, meaning the music starts but the arrows are still frozen, and that messes up the timing with the rest of the song. In order to keep things in sync those smaller than 1/16th notes are used
