This might not be the right place to ask, but how do you play Tecmo Bowl and Baseball Stars? I got those games with my system and never figured them out.
Tecmo Super Bowl is one of my favorite games ever. Baseball Stars is cool because it has more of a "team/league building" style of play that doesn't show up in other sports titles til way later.
Got this for $5 from Software Etc... In 1994. Played it often and beat it a few times. Eventually sold my boxed copy to a well known NES collector in the mid-2000s. I like the game. One time, I think I found a glitch where jumping on the cars in the first stage takes you to a bonus room, but I've never been able to duplicate it. Weird. The game is far better than the movie, imo.
Guilty! I remember it being difficult as hell...why you keep reminding me of games i didnt beat?! Or was it snes? I feel like I played a different version?
I never played this game as a kid, but I vaguely feel like Nintendo Power magazine refused to even cover it. Like they put it in print that they weren't going to. I could very well be wrong, and while I have every issue of NP ever released, it's not in my immediate possession. I only remember this game at all because of the Marylin Monroe bombshell cartoon character on the cover art. Looks pretty shit though. Glad I didn't spend my allowance money on a rental.
@@BigOleWords the game is crazy bad, liking your Chanel and watching all the crappy games being played that are on my shelf, just picked up kick master too. have a good one.
@@Mikewee777 Well real R rated of Cool World was Bakshi's original Idea as a live-action animated horror film, he write the screenplay that featured the protagonist Debbie Dallas, a young woman who was conceived by a Doodle and a Noid. Debbie, who had been born a half animated and half flesh hybrid, considers herself a freak and searches to murder her own father that had caused her deformity and abandoned her and is a really cool story. Then this happen, During production, producer Frank Mancuso Jr. had Bakshi's screenplay rewritten in secret, which had very little similarities to the original pitch. Mancuso, who was best known for his Friday The 13th franchise, felt he wanted to distance himself from the horror genre. After this rewrite Bakshi and Mancuso's differences got the better of them, leading to a physical fight which then led to Paramount threatening to sue Bakshi unless they finish the film. These creative differences, along with some minor issues that followed, is what led to the film's ultimate bombing in the box office. Known as Bakshi's worst film, it's only good factors were its art and the casting of Brad Pitt.
This is such a bad game and one I always associate with Ocean games, the brits love em, but I feel like they put out a ton of licensed trash here. I actually took some animation classes from Ralph Bakshi's son, they are both really cool people. Too bad this movie was pretty awful lol

@@BigOleWords Yeah. Cuz Ralph was able to make the film he wanted to make, instead of how the studio kept slapping Cool World out of his hands at every turn. I adored this game as a 5 year old. I remember laying on the living room floo r playing it. I still love it and the sound track.
At 5?!? Damn this is kinda racy!
This was the most frustrating game I have ever played
Yeah it’s a soul crusher for sure!
I agree, the controls of this one are completely broken. I don’t think I’ve ever made it through any level, nor do I want to.
Yeah it’s definitely a play once and then banish to the shelf kind of title like Cliffhanger or Castelian.
Lou Reed dressed as Leisure Suit Larry is hilarious
Thank you thank you

The movie was my introduction to My Life with the Thrill Kill Cult, Sex on Wheelz. Ooh many nights of debauchery were had.
That’s awesome, definitely winners of the best name award!
Nice. A Wizards game would be nuts...
If I knew anything about programming I'd get on it stat!
I had Cool World for the SNES, and I had fun with it.

Wow that is a strong endorsement for Cool world! I'm impressed you beat it, I got so lost.
Haha awesome review!! Yup, I've never played this and it looks like that was for the best!
You dodged an 8-bit bullet there my friend!
For some reason this game stirs up my Bart Vs the Space Mutants PTSD.
I think it’s the colors and the endless wandering :)
Hell yes! Wizards was a great flick and could have made a great game
Yeah it would've!
And I thought the Snes Cool World version was horrible. This Piece of FKing $h1t!!! Blows that one out of the water!!!
The Angry Video Game Nerd should review Cool World on Nes and Snes.
For sure!

brilliantly funny review. what a tragic game lol. I'm glad I missed this one albeit I sensed your pain whilst playing it ;0). Cheers!

Yeah, most of the obscure NES games are...pretty terrible. At least they're kind of interesting though!
An NES game with a skateboard section? No way... that's so cool! Man, every game should have that.
That’s for sure!
But Is It better than the SNES game?
You know, I’ve never tried the SNES version!
The MC always looked more like Gomez Addams to me, I can't believe it's supposed to be Brad Pitt. Even for an NES sprite the likeness is horrible.
I can see it!
A small correction: Cool World was rated PG-13, not R.
