    Today's Video:
I immensely enjoyed Will's first puzzle in the series. I take back what I said in the video, this is certainly the more approachable puzzle of the two, and if you've not seen before, start here!
P.S. don't hold Will's spelling against him, he's not a subject of the King after all nor his English 😉

    Rules:
    Normal Sudoku rules apply.
SUMMING LINES- Lines each have a VALUE, according to their color. All colors have a different VALUE. Cell numbers are equal to the sum of all line values that go to the cell's center. Example: Row 3 Column 3 is equal to the values of blue + red + purple. Row 2 Column 3 is just the value of purple. For colorblind people, there are 5 colors, with first initial to the left of center in any cells with only that color: Red, Blue, Purple, Orange and Green. Cells with no colored lines can be any number.
KROPKI PAIRS- Numbers with a white dot between them are consecutive. Numbers with a black dot between them are in a ratio of 2:1. Not all possible dots are given.

Was not in hurry definitely. Worked out to fill the grid fully with letter. And then calculated the right digits.
    Nice constraint, and nice solve!l

8:31, color logic was super easy, then doing sudoku just takes time even if it's easy.

Wonderful puzzle. Once I figured out boxes 1 and 9 the rest fell into place relatively quickly. My total solve time 14:37

Damn, I confused the red-green-purple in box 7 for a red-blue-purple and ended up with a deadly pattern right at the end.😠

You are a very smart solver! Starting at box 5 was the key! I tried starting (this is correct? I don't know) in box 1 but I failled twice. So I watched your solve to understand it better. Thank you!! 🤗

    Under 8 for me
Found purple is 1 ( R4C45) red 8s consecutive with green (R89C8) Red + 1(purple) is blue (R3C23). so 2,3 or 3,4. It can't be 2, 3 because green cant be 1 which is already taken by purple. So its 3,4

A quick 8 minutes for me! A wonderful puzzle!!! It goes very quickly (as I'm sure you do in your solve) to color the lines cells with the colors going into them and then for multi-color cells pick a unique color leaving only R8C1 as an oddball until you spot a key simple piece of logic). Spoilers ahead:
I colored the entire grid first, easy part (R8C1 can't be the same as R3C3 because that would mean R6C5 and R5C6 are the same, but they can't be, giving the final coloring). Then I noted that R3C3 had to be pretty high, at least a 4, but because of the white dot in box 9 and the cells adding to R6C4 it can't be 4, so it is 6 or 8 making R3C2 either 3 or 4. If R3C3 was 6, though, that would make R8C9 a 3 with a 12 pair in R7C8 and R8C8 leaving no valid candidate for the white dot R9C8 cell there (a 1 would need the 2, but it is used, and a 2 would need a 1 or a 3, both again used), so R3C3 and all correspondingly colored cells are 8, making R3C2 and all correspondingly colored cells 4. Once you have that, you get a 13 pairing throughout the grid, either way making R9C8 and corresponding cells 2. With math we get R8C1 and corresponding cells becoming 6. From there we have 579 triples throughout the remaining cells. R4C6 and R6C6 both can't be 5 due to math. That makes R4C5 and corresponding cells the 5. R8C3 and corresponding cells are now known to be 7 making R7C3 and corresponding cells the 9. Once you know this, then R2C2 and corresponding cells are forced by math to be 3 leaving the final cells all 1. Done!
Actually took longer to type this up than the entire solve. lol
Thanks for the GAS this morning! A quick watch to see how you got on and then off to work! Have a great day!

Interesting that you solved the lines first and that O + P = X where X - O = 1 logic due to the kropki dot was sublime! As for the rest of the logic, it basically goes the same as my coloring except you were using actual digits as you go and I was using placeholder colors, and while you filled in the digits here and there as you went, I double clicked colors and Pow, Pow, Pow, nine times and done in seconds (technically two more times to put in the 13 pairs and the 579 triples). I wonder if doing letters as you did might have sped up my solve by a few minutes. I clocked in with a 7:44, so pretty dang fast, but I had to scan for which colors were still left in columns and rows using mostly box 5 and adjacent corner boxes to restrict them. Unfortunately, when you already know the logical path, you can never get a fair redo time using a different method as you know exactly where to look for each next step. Oh, well. Cheers on an amazing solve (for you and for me)!

      Glad you enjoyed.
Last puzzle I tried colours and then I really struggled to come up with consistent colours for Orange and Purple without having to look up what I did previously.

@@SudokuSleuth Yes, it can get confusing, especially with having to use nine colors including the light gray. Luckily, for this puzzle the colors resolve to one or two for most of the cells quickly, and even the around eight that didn't, that simple logic quickly resolved them, too. I did have to keep reminding myself that that one cell was sum colors and not candidate colors for the first six minutes, though. (I even pen tooled it to make sure. ;) )

27:20 I'm sure my method was poor. Started by seeing R3C3 had to be 8 and R3C2 4. Then lots of pencil marking

I got a nice quick solve here. My time was 7:31 (so a double bonus), solver number 211. Do you have the link to this puzzle on LMG?
