- These are memorable stories about nuns. In 2017, it was game-on when a nun in full habit took on a uniformed cop in Ireland. In 2018, Sister Mary Beth Lloyd put some serious mileage on her sneakers and ran marathons to raise money for various organizations. In January of 2023, a man learned the hard way that thou shalt not steal when a nun foiled his plans to allegedly steal from a Christian community center in New York. I went to St.Pauls Catholic grade school and was an Alter Boy. I just loved all the Nuns. Reflecting back they were hard working, kind and loving women. I know this because I was paddeld a few times ( slow learner) and they paddeld me with love 😁God Bless you Sisters 🙏and Thank You.
