I appreciate you showing your path towards independence as your kids get into upper grade levels. My kids are also 3 years apart and I anticipate not this year, but the following I will have to split them in almost every subject areas as their skill abilities are so different.

Yes I am starting to ponder when/if I need to split them entirely. It is tricky! In my case, they genuinely enjoy doing family style learning, even when it may not be the best to suit their needs.

I also have a second grader and a 5th grader so i have found your curriculum videos really helpful, thank you ❤ i would love to see a weekly schedule to see how you plan to fit all of these things into your week. We currently have a 4 day week with poetry, bible and math everyday and either history or science alternating daily. I would love to add more english, typing, art study, computer skills and geography but i feel we all get very easily overwhelmed when we try to juggle it all. X

I'll definitely make a schedule video soon! I typically do a 4 day schedule for our main work, and save fridays for the "extras" like typing, art, computer, or any fun crafts or mini units. However, even with that, we typically have certain things that are really hard to get to. I just keep trying. I figure, even if we only do art study once or twice a month, that's better than nothing.
