First of all; in all respect of these women who died for absolutely nothing....they should not be called witches for crying out loud. You are just perpetuating the myth and riding on the same ignorance that started the whole ridiculous ordeal. They were innocent, normal people...not witches.

@@mrbubetubeWe know for too many reasons to be discussed here. But an important fact is that all of their convictions were overturned. Also, what the Puritans believed to be as "witches" or "bewitchment" was very different than what the practice of witchcraft is today.

I wish folks would leave the ancestors alone, if they want to visit us in dreams thats one thing. I found this to be totally disrespectful especially since Bridget wants to be left alone.
I extend an invitation to all ancestors who want to attend my circle. It's a mixed group who show up.
Love Bridget Bishop and understand why she is so sad (notice you didn't state that Bishop was angry or mad but after what the Salem community did to her!). In fact, Bishop is one of three people who I would defiantly want to meet in the afterlife. So unfair what happened.

she was an outsider who moved into a Puritan society. You should try to speak with the girls who caused all of this. Bridget was a victim of ergot poisoning. She lived on dry ground. The girls lived on wet, boggy land. It had been a very wet rainy summer. Some of the wheat rotted. The villagers used every bit of what they had. The rotted wheat became ergot. The girls did believe what they saw in their LSD afflicted minds. These poor condemned victims should be freed by the people of Salem. They're not evil. Apparently Freya said that she was disappointed by Alex for still trying to contact her ancestress, Bridget, when in fact she insisted her to not do that as a way of respect and letting her rest in peace. Yet still she still went to Paula Roberts to talk to her.

Bridget Bishop was another victim of paranoia and scapegoating. I personally do not like this story, with its circus-like music where I feel another soul who was tormented is being exploited with modern sensationalism. Man's response of fear of the unknown doesn't change... only those who suffered as a result.
I hope the descendants of these stupid 5 young girls who falsely acussed Bridget suffer from the mess their ancestors did. Also as a practicing witch do not call Bridget a witch just because she's "haunting" the town. Just give respect to her

Don't you think you'd have some rational argument if you were thinking rationally? Or some scientific response if your beliefs were based on evidence? There's an obvious reason that there's no ghost science. You're just lying to yourself.
