Amazing homes fraught with various shortcomings and multiple hazards. If you pause the video for example at minute 10:24, notice how the gas range sits below the kitchen counter - a fire hazard, indication that Kenya has no building codes which regulate interior elevation standards and if any, they either poorly written or not enforced at all.... yet, the house is listed for sale🤯
Kenya doesn't even enforce safety measures in our 4 and above story building like fire escape routes, fire extinguisher and even building stability are mostly being bypass because of corruption. When the earthquake of 6. Mg hits us, we will face horrific destruction and death due to substandard houses. I don't even trust those skyscrapers that lit the skies of our cities.
You said "various and multiple" and listed only one. That said, the cooker is a prop for staging and I trust that the device is only placed there for aesthetics, it does not come with the house. One would obviously need to place it on a pedestal.
The presenter is top notch. Houses are packed like sardines. Too close together zero privacy like a student hostel estate. Athi river the most polluted area in Kenya. Health hazard.
I have noticed that the toilets/showers in Kenya's homes tends to be tiny in proportion to other areas in the house. Looks like it's a cultural thing. In America, bathroom (toilet/shower) is the most important area in a home. It tends to be very spacious and well designed.
after buying, probably you will pay security, cabbage collection, generator etc etc amounting to something like 15k every month again...na unasema forget about rent! Weh
Tricky but positive at least you have your own property, you can rent them or sell them later. Paying 15k a month for refuse, security and back up generator is not bad. You can later bring the community together to install solar system which is free and you can get at least 10KWA or more.
These houses are built on the river bank, which floods every 5 or so years...everyone in the area knows. A gabion or wall cannot hold back the Athi River.
Truth be told, it is state of the art homes with perfect furniture and interior design too is perfect but where Am I suppose to take my old furnitures especially my leather sleeping coaches?
Home gives people peace. Rent is messing up in this Nairobi, because your prime years you make few rich due to rent. Wish they could chose better financing of the houses to make them affordable for kenyans. The legit of tittle deed matters. Reason why people prefer government estate.
For " 12 Meters " you probably need to slow down and showcase this house with only pedestal sinks(read cheap) and kitchen cabinets which are half way to the ceiling (read tucky). But maybe you want to confuse us all. How about the house is worth less than 8 million with profits.
The place looks so beautiful, but it's not a couple of meters off the express way, as you have said, its roughly 6.6km away, 6,600 meters, not a couple of meters.
From the comments i see how naive ladies are, men are raising red flags and asking security questions. Ladies are just asking how many units are left and how much, they want to buy tomorrow. NOW IT IS FLOODED, GO AND BUY, RUN!!
In 30 years time... New minister of land new goverment and all developers given time to run away and hide then the bulldozer engine start rolling in...sad
Don’t joke with water ways! Building a gabion cannot stop a burst river 😱😱 Athi River is no joke
It became a river indeed

Well spotted! It appears at minute 10.04
I thought it was more hazardous inside the house
It's kukuyus
You said "various and multiple" and listed only one.

How is it diff from those victorian houses in London? Explain the health hazards
@@ewm4266heard it's sandwiched between two steel industries. Just shouts toxic air.
i like how they have sense of community which help kids to fight solitude lifestyle which raises depressed generation
What they will not tell you is that the estate is sandwiched between two steel industries.
And now the flooding. Sad!!
And Athi river always flooding
This was not a good investment after all...am sure the buyers are now crying 😢

Yes funny as if toilet and bathroom aren't part of the house ...
It's kikuyus lifestyle, miser mindset, suffering mentally
Kukuyus believe in suffering
Kikuyu lifestyle
@@Moses-Kuria Seems you are negatively fixated on one community. Kindly reform your mind and you will get peace.

Every development has a service charge even in the US and the UK.
Tricky but positive at least you have your own property, you can rent them or sell them later. Paying 15k a month for refuse, security and back up generator is not bad. You can later bring the community together to install solar system which is free and you can get at least 10KWA or more.
Such a high service charge can only apply in places like Runda bana. Am sure it won't go beyond 5k
Another rent of 15k on Hoa?
I'm regretting buying an apartment, the service charger is 30k per month in kileleshwaa, no one wants to rent it off
These houses are so beautiful
19:45 is the mark. Pure salesmanship with zero interest on the client. Of it keeps the water out, it will definitely keep it in.
…the list goes on... the amenities …. and the floods
Oh my! They are beautiful.
These houses are built on the river bank, which floods every 5 or so years...everyone in the area knows. A gabion or wall cannot hold back the Athi River.
Its tiny & no front yard, no gate & u depend on the developer for everything.
Just amazing
At least flooding was sorted...
House look good for the middle class, really services
So it was indeed a known swamp😢😢😢. Place is flooded sahi.
Wonderful Review
Wait for the long rains then come to the same place. Or you dont come I will post a video of how the place floods
😂😂😂weeuh.....prophet.....I really loved this place.....leo ndio nime think twice
@@babygiraffe-cg6gt I dont want to post the video from there today
@@imagineSasa just post tuone.......
You actually knew. No one listened.
I wish the buyers saw your comment then😅
I love the terras ❤
They are Good houses i like them
6.5m is not bad with all facilities they have shown around. Imagine you only come with your car, clothing and food staff everything else is set.
6.5 for how many bedrooms do they come with bed, fridge,l the utilities
@@kiongop 3 bedroom
6.5m is for the 3 bed apartment. The 3 bed + sq being shown goes for KES 11m.
The furnished one is only a showroom ... for demonstration. You buy an empty house.
No need to spend 12m on such a hse.just go back to yr county and build 4storey building for rental.
Shout out PJ!
The houses are smart but the foul smell of the river is too annoying...also I guess this are riparian area
You were right all along.😢😢
I wish they listened to you...now the worse has happened 😢
Meantime how much is the cost of buying the property and what is the terms? Is it mortgage or cash?
Truth be told, it is state of the art homes with perfect furniture and interior design too is perfect but where Am I suppose to take my old furnitures especially my leather sleeping coaches?
The furniture is for staging
Reasoning like a true born idiot mijinga jaluoo
You buy an empty house
So you think they're selling the apartments plus the furniture @ 6.5m? are you kidding me?
Woow beautiful 🔥🔥

You think that's all ,you wil need to pay extra 25k monthly service charge
such a good presenter, tho u shouldnt have missed the emperor caesar himuselfu
All under water right now! 😢
amazing I NEE A UNIT ASAP
How much does it cost I like the place
He mentioned

My exact thoughts
Exactly, no more than 8M.
OK, I'll be coming along on the 26th 😉
Na kumeflood yaaawa😢😢😢
Incredible properties indeed now in water😥
Very sad for the purchasers.
What type of tittle deed do they have at crystal rivers??
Good question???
Very beautiful. Could you please show the bathrooms in detail and the garden.
And 1 year later its so damn flooded.
SMH! Are you selling the decor/interior design or the house?
Hello how much.and what about payment in instalments for some years
The place looks so beautiful, but it's not a couple of meters off the express way, as you have said, its roughly 6.6km away, 6,600 meters, not a couple of meters.
Beautiful ❤️❤️
I hate to say it but it looks more of a hotel than a home. No access for disabled persons
I wonder how they look like 30-40 years later.. too clamped together
The water coming from the shower and tap has minimal pressure 🤔
Are there houses available now
Flooded
How much is the price tag for such house
He's mentioned 12million
Still available? 12m 4brd fully furnished?
Hehehe, this is the season to buy houses, the way this estate has been marooned by the floods. Don't grab river beds kenyans
The floods today
Why are there European heads to decorate our houses 😢arggghhh
want the number please whoever has copied plse.
Hi, Mr,my question is,,, you rent or you sale,, coz I wanted a house that I will buy for good
Don't put European in this mess plizzzzzz ...the interior designer seems very poor
European houses are not to this level...
Disadvantage of the kitchen is where you put your cylinder😡😡
Gas cylinder has a chamber outside the house
Does the property has masjid a Muslim prayer house
Probably not
And now its a pool of water😭

The apartments are soo cheap with all those amenities.....its clear now the houses are built on a raparian area.
Wakenya tuna kasumba ya ukoloni Sana ...
Why are this houses connected why can't they be independent
Good ❓...fire in one house can cause massive damage
Space
Go to muthaiga to find yourself one.
I hate connected houses ,nikileta mkamba mgangaa everyone sees him
In 30 years time... New minister of land new goverment and all developers given time to run away and hide then the bulldozer engine start rolling in...sad
sad reality of kenya.
Very tiny houses wth very tiny sq hata bed ya 3 by 6 haiingiii
What I see and what he’s saying 🤔Not worth the money
any units remaining?
You should have learned something about STORMWATER MANAGEMENT🥵
How much
Pliz answer me
Do they hv tittle deed legally 🤔 coz we do want to mess like what happen in mahiga homes 🏡 customers
Mahiga nini kulifanyika
This can not be compared to mahiga.
Two worlds apart.
Safaricom investment
So the developer is Safaricom or Safaricom Sacco?
The houses are beautiful but the question ⁉️ remains. Has the developer sorted out issues with NEMA ?
they had issues?
They are now flooded.
