Honestly, making mistakes in probably most things actually helps us learn, so it’s fine that you made mistakes. And hey, now you know and can help others learn what not to do. :D
@@waitwhat2691 People do research but they still make mistakes. It happens to a lot of people its ok. Just because you "researched" about the pet doesn't mean you can't make mistakes.
@@waitwhat2691 I know you're not talking to me but how will you research properly? There's lies all over the internet so you really can't. Maybe instead of researching the vet part is more better. They can tell you more things than the internet. So there's really no way to research properly.
Our local pet store only sells beta fish. No other fish or animals. They have in store bearded dragons but those are the store’s pets and there’s only 2 of them. They have very spacious enclosures and are actually taken care of. I’m thinking of applying to work there because the girls there are actually really cool.
I respect people who admit and try to fix their mistakes and understand what they did wrong. They're strong enough to want to improve, not just for pet care, but for anything.
Tbh, the only thing that matters is not that you made mistakes but how you learnt more and tried to fix your mistakes. Making mistakes is okay as long as you are willing to learn more and fix it
When I was a young kid I had a Syrian hamster in one of those AWFUL plastic colourful cages. I still feel immense guilt and literally cry when I think about how poorly she was treated. I wish I had the resources we have now because now there’s really no excuse for bad pet care. To make up for my past mistakes, I rescue and foster hamsters and they are always housed in the biggest most beautiful & enriching enclosures. I hope that spoiling hamsters now will make up for immense guilt I still carry. I’m sorry Angel 😢
First of all, we love a Queen who doesn't pretend to be perfect and sets insane standards🙌🏼 thank you for being open and honest and showing people that learning is possible❤️ Second: how is your hair so flawless???? Is that your natural colour?😍 And if not, how does it look so healthy??😍
I fed my first two starting budgies vitamin a, omega 3 and 6, probiotic filled parakeet seed mix and even though I was worried that giving them only seeds would be harmful however, I had the pair for 4 years and they were healthy and playful. But only 5 days ago my female budgie, Jewel died after many hours of being unable to stand and keep her balance. My male, Blu was absolutely heartbroken and he even refused to eat his favorite meal, chop. Blu was found dead at the bottom of his formerly shared cage with Jewel just 2 months after her death. Just like Blu after Jewel passed, I was heartbroken.
I cringe at my old pet care mistakes too. I had 2 Goldfish in one of those hexagonal tanks from your video, with those silly coloured stones at the bottom. I had no knowledge when I was little about Goldfish can grow to their tank surroundings, so any little hideaways I bought for them became useless to them and I stupidly never replaced. I'm also guilty of putting them into a bowl while cleaning the tank and also knew nothing about cycling tanks rip. The only things I ever did right was give correct amount of food, and add a filter and bubble makers to the tank. 1 lived about 5 years, the other went on to 7. Sorry to say that there was a Spongebob tank ornament in there too XD. I don't currently have any fish/pets; But if I ever choose to again in future, I am so thankful for all the videos you have out there to help me and others :)
Now i know not to use colorful stones. Also i'm sorry to hear your fish died. I was little when i had a fish too! I don't know if the circle fish bowls are safe. I'm pretty sure he was a gold fish but i'm sure he wasn't i'm not sure but i think gold fish need a lot of space. He was a beautiful color. I didn't have anything in my fish's tank i only had a rock i think i'm not sure maybe it was little hide outs. I didn't have any tiny characters also the hide away's you bought i had them to but my fish never bothered. It was a waste of money. My fish didn't die..i'm pretty sure it probably did! My family member gave it to her neighbor and he had cats so i would pray for him everyday. After 4 years I've never seen him sense.
It won’t actually hurt your fish to have colorful gravel or Sponge Bob decor. It doesn’t look natural but as long as you give them enough room, places to hide and practice good tank maintenance and proper feeding the decor doesn’t really matter. It’s really a personal preference.
@@Sullivanin Hi, the Spongebob tank decor is just a little joke as we know how much SodaPets really dislikes them :). A lot of inexperienced kids like myself had them but we all know that it wont hurt the fish.
My first mistake was not training my budgie. She passed away last month but I just loved her SO MUCH, she was the best little thing I had in my life💗 But because I didn't really train her(she only knew how to step up and step off) she was a bit crazy and angry.. But I still loved her and new bird owners, I really recomend training your birds. They are extremely smart and youtube has louds of videos on how to do that:)) Have a great day💕💕💗
Honestly this makes me enjoy their videos even more! She is comfortable opening up about her mistakes! And she doesn’t act like she never made any mistakes!
When I got my first budgies at age 8 or something we got them from a pet store, the pet store put them in a WAYYY too small cage for 7 budgies and said it was fine to keep them in there. We bought those bad rope toys , low quality food that the pet store promoted, and we specifically asked them for something good to put veggies in and they gave us one of those balls you put hay in for a rabbit or something like that. We got them home and everything seemed okay for a while, until one of them tried to eat from that ball and lost its footing kind of gliding down with its head stuck in the ball to where it was literally hanging from its head stuck in the damn ball. We got it out and it was acting like it was going to throw up or had a hard time breathing , it died on its way to the vet. After that two of them stopped eating and died , one died from grief, and one started to look really sick. We took them to the vet and were told to give them vitamins, (and let me remind you that at this point we’ve had the pet store budgies for only three months). We did research and took better care of them , and after a few years of having four cute and healthy budgies one of them just died without any obvious reason or symptoms. Two of those left were a little couple and the third looked really left out. (They also moved to a better cage when we started doing research , forgot to mention that) A week ago , one of them died at 7 years of age. Now the two remaining budgies, both girls, have started getting along and taking care of each other like a couple. They are really cute together and I hope to keep them healthy and happy for as long as possible. I love my sweet little girls , And I wish I would’ve known better pet care from the start 🤍
I've made my fair share of mistakes in budgie care too, and looking back at them makes me sad. But I know that I've learned and improved a lot! We went from having this tiny cage for two birds, to now having two big cages with two birds in each cage (They have to be separated cause otherwise they'd fight). And it still has to be improved, but that's what we're working on! The plan is to switch out more perches, so that we have at least mostly natural wood perches (preferably all natural wood) and a lot more play and shredding toys.
A lot of people make mistakes in pet care, we all have. No one is completely perfect from day 1 and especially not when you were a kid. I think a major part of pet care and having pets is growing and learning. Sometimes you will think something is ok, it might even be recommended or common practice, its completely ok to make those mistakes, you didn’t know and you meant well. You were trying your best and I have no doubt you cared a ton about those animals. As long as you are changing and growing and learning from those things in order to give your pets the best you can, there is nothing to be ashamed of. It’s amazing you are willing to and brave enough to share these mistakes online, especially with how strict the pet care scene can be online some times. You help a lot of people with the advice and experience you share, and it’s great that you can use the knowledge you learnt from those past mistakes to teach other people and maybe even help first time owners to avoid these mistakes and care for their own animals.
I am ashamed inmyself from keeping betta fish in 1.5 gallons.. but now ive learned and I keep them in 5 gallons with filters and live plants! and they are wayy happier than my other fish(:
My first fish tank was so bad. It was one of those plastic tank things that is really only suitable for feeder insects. It had no filter, just an air stone. I was quite young so I don't really remember what was in it but I remember at least 4 different goldfish, a pair of minnows, some sort of loach, I think there was a pleco and a few snails (all these were over the period of a year maybe). It was so bad. Now, many years later, I have a 54 litre heated tank with a betta, a school of neons, a school of rummynose and 2 snails. They are all thriving and I'm so happy with the progress I've made. I'm even having amazing growth in the plants I've added, mostly the salvania (idk how to spell it) which multiples like crazy. I also just remembered about my first birds. They were a zebra finch pair and were in one of those small travel cages. They never got used to me so I stopped trying to make any progress with taming them down. It took me a few years to realise what had killed them which turned out to be candles and air freshners as far as I'm aware. We had puppies at the time and every morning they pooped everywhere so my mum always lit candles to help mask the smell while it was being cleaned up. So they slowly died from respiratory issues and I feel so guilty.
Mistakes I made/my family made when I was younger: had a goldfish in a bowl (cat ended up eating it - now own a betta in a ten gallon with plants and filter/heater), rabbits in outside only hutches (my current rabbit is free roam indoors), outdoor cats (my current cat is only allowed outside on her catio), a single budgie in a tiny cage (if I were to get birds again, I'd get at least two budgies and have them in an aviary or large indoor cage). A lot of this was simply misinformation in the 90s. We have come such a long way since then, and with the internet, people have a huge resource to make sure they can give their animals happy and healthy lives. Remember: pets shouldn't just survive. They should thrive.
I was pretty rough with a kitten we had when I was a little kid, and I still feel guilty about that to this day. My family doesn't have the best track record when it comes to our pet care. Our first betta fish, Bubbles, was purchased from Walmart and kept in a bowl with no heater and filter, and he ended up freezing to death. Our second betta fish, Timmy-Two, had better care, but he had no filter in his tank, and my mom emptied the whole tank's water for every weekly cleaning. Timmy-Two ended up freezing to death as well, because his heater stopped working and our furnace was off, and we weren't home. Our dog, a Golden Retriever Champ, was allowed to freely roam the woods near our house in the mountains. Our cats have always been allowed to go outdoors, and two of them have gone missing, Angel and Wallace. My parents never have had ill intent towards these pets, they are just pretty fricking clueless sometimes. Although you would think that they would learn with the outdoor cat thing after two of our cats disappeared. The rest of our family are poor with pet care too, keeping animals in small cages and feeding crap to their dogs that die at a few years old from cancer or some other illness. I haven't had positive role models too much in my life when it comes to pet care. Now that I know proper care, I can break the cycle by doing great by my future pets!
I used to want a bird or a fish as a kid, but being an adult now and learning more about them I'm glad i didn't get any. I dont think i would have done a good job looking after them
Everytime I watch your fish videos I get reminded of my poor old fish.. I've had 3(4 if you count my sister's since I was kinda in charge of it after a bit) and all of them lived in bowls, the circle ones with 2 flat sides..all were bettas; 1st one named Boy Fish lived for 5 years and apparently grunted like a catfish?? Such a beautiful betta too with a blue body with red fade out fins(he was my favorite), second one I think was Mr. Marbles who lived 2nd longest at maybe almost a year or 2, then the two me and my sister got for Christmas lasted about 2-5 months my lasted longer cause I had my room at a consistent temperature and her's was freezing 80% of the time, funnily enough I also had colorful gravel(and flat marbles at one point-) and a SpongeBob house, it's like those two things haunt first time/unknowing fish keepers I feel so bad for those fish, I'm pretty sure all three of mine lived in the same one too cause we've only ever had that one until the last two cause then we had 2 bowls If I ever get another fish, ofc after doing research, I will definitely be taking better care of it and possibly spoil it with the biggest tank I can afford with all the necessities. Going to be a while though Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk of my fish keeping mistakes
I also had that same Kmart tank 😓 It actually ended up coming in handy when my guppies had babies & I didn't want my turtle to eat them. I ended up breeding guppies by accident.
There is no such thing as someone who doesn’t make mistakes so if making mistakes means we can’t give advice then no one would ever be able to give advice, including professionals
Your videos have actually helped me loads. I had my betta in a 3.5 gallon tank, but got him in a 10 gallon after watching your video's, and he seems genuinely happier.
When i was 6 my parents bought me my first pets which was THREE goldfish 😭 one of the big eyed black fish , an orange 1 and a whitish see through 1! We actually had the EXACT same tank showed in the vid and im still so ashamed at myself for not realising how small that tank was. We somehow still have the black fish and its been about 8 years since, he has a massive massive tank which looks like 100+ gallons all to himself and a propper filter. :'3 When i was 9 or 10 i got 2 budgies in a travel cage. Hardly any toys, no fruit, mirrors everywhere and Dowel perches 💀. And unfortunatlly neitherof them lasted much longer than a few years :[ i keep a small bag of feathers and a picture of them aswell and i still cry when i see them 🥺 today i have a new budge :} thanks to mistakes i have made in the past and watching this channel for the past 2 years i decided it was time to start again and he's such an amazing and healthy little boy ^^ just wanna say thank you for sharing and helping so many people out to keep their animals safe and happy 👾💕
My family had MANY pets when I was a kid-we didn’t have internet to see how to take care of our animals so we went off what the pet store and what my mother said. Turns out neither knew how to take care of animals and a lot of mistakes were made.
Thank you for this video. I made several major mistakes when I first adopted my darling Goldfish. He lived in a fish bowl for about 3 days, then he lived in one of those same super old hexagon tanks that my mental health worker gave me, then he lived in a 3.5 gallon tank I got on sale, and now he lives a happy and healthy life in a 20-Gallon tank he got as a gift from a very kind person who sponsored him and his new 20-Gallon tank. He has all the supplies he needs now. My sweet little Depth-Charge should be able grow to become a big and strong adult Goldfish someday, especially since we are going to build him a nice big pond some day.
I think those "mistakes" were pretty normal and common back in the days before the internet. And people didn't see anything wrong with it. Back in the days i also fed my birds only seeds
I miss my fish coconut he was a beautiful little beta fish that I had when I was young and…- he lived in a bowl 0-0 uhm a little bowl with a few plants and RaInBoW GrAvEl I used to stress him out by petting him because I thought he liked it (I was like- five) we went to Disney land and he froze in his bowl 💀 I still cry to this day
I feel the same way you feel about Quinn when i look back at my childhood Lovebird, Ace. His cage wasnt quite as small as Quinn's but it was still pretty small and it was one of those ROUND cages which I now know are not recommended. He at least had natural perches instead of dowel perches (we were poor and couldnt afford to go buy dowel perches anyway so we would just go cut tree branches for him to sit on... he had a swing and his natural perches but not very many toys and when i look at pics of his cage its just dismal looking. Also he was on a mostly seed diet which isnt good for most lovebirds since they will pick thru it and mostly pick out the fatty seeds and kick the more healthy stuff on the floor (and he definitely did do that lol) he did get SOME vegetables but we never really prepared fresh chop specifically for him, we would just give him veggies off of our own plate when we were eating veggies (like if we were having peas and carrots, etc we would give him some at the table while we were eating) -- though that IS a the major plus that I CAN say about his care is that he did NOT spend much time in his cage... he was only really in there when nobody was home. As soon as we got home from school he was let out and got free reign of the house to fly around pretty much til we went to bed and was out all the time during the summer montsh when we were home from school. so yea during dinner time he would fly around from person to person like a dog begging for table scraps lol. He would get veggies from our plate during that time and even sometimes little peices of chicken and one time he stole my dads bagel at breakfast and hobbled off with it halfway across the table lol. my dad always read the newspaper during breakfast and he wasnt paying attention and Ace our lovebird hopped over to his plate and grabbed the bagel with his beak and started dragging and pulling it away across the table haha. us kids were stifling laughter trying to see how long it would take dad to notice his bagel was gone while Ace dragged it away and stole it ;) He was my first bird ever and started my lifelong love of lovebirds but yea I wish i did better by him in regards to his cage and dietary needs. He did live with us for about 7 or 8 years, similar to yours and he was a rescue when we got him; my dad found him in the street in boston hopping around with clipped wings in the street so he was probably an escapee from someones window so we dont know how old he was when we got him but he was definitely an adult and I would assume at least a handful of years old because he was VERY tame and VERY well trained (had flight recall training, would 'dance' to music, spin in circles and head bop, lots of cute little tricks so he was old enough for someone to have probably spent at least a handful of years training him and working with him... he was SUCH a great bird! so he was probably id say maybe at least 13 or so when he passed away... considering if we had him for 8 years and he was maybe 5 when we rescued him? (but could have been older too... who knows.. we dont really know what caused his death either.. it didnt seem like a death of old age since there was no 'slow decline' he was fine the night before and we left for school the next morning and came home and he was in the bottom of his cage :( we thought he had a heart attack maybe because he had been eating a lot of sunflower seeds ... that was the only thing we could think of because we had run out of his regular bird food that week and were feeding him sunflower seeds for a few days till we could get to the store to pick up his regular mixed seeds... even back then we knew eating ONLY sunflower seeds wasnt the best but that was all we had on hand at the time. i dont know if just a few days of eating only sunflower seeds would do it but maybe on top of alreaddy eating a primarily seed diet he could have had heart issues. he always seemed spritely and healthy but who knows... thats what we assumed at the time was a heart attack since it happened so suddenly out of nowhere... but also i now know how delicate their respiratory systems are too so could have been something related to that as well... my mom was always a clean freak so maybe she cleaned with chemicals too close to the birds cage, etc...(that i'll never know as i doubt she would remember its been over 20 years now- i had this bird when i was like age 7-14 and in my 30s now.. still remember him and miss that lil guy tho. best bird ive ever met)
I had budgies a few years back too, and while I had them I did research. I found a bigger and more suitable cage for my two budgies, but it was on the internet and I didn't have enough money to get it (especially when the shipping was the most expensive part). I eventually rehomed them to someone who had time and more experience with budgies, and they're living a more happy life there in a bigger cage. I've gotten pictures of them from their new home, and it just feels great that they get to live a better life than what I could provide. I loved them so much, and I would love to get birds again in the future, but that has to be after I'm done with school
My mom was told by a pet store worker that dwarf hamsters need to be together in one cage, so she got me 2 of them for Christmas. Not long later, one of the hamsters literally killed the other one. Not only were they in an awful, tiny cage, but that pet store guy ripped us off. NOT cool. I was 12 at the time and had no idea how bad the situation was, and I wish I did.
I finally got a ten gallon tank for my tadpoles and they are liking it 🎉 I would definitely recommend it to anyone raising large amounts of tadpoles as pets bc I started the hobby with a two gallon tank and could only keep like ten tadpole's in it but now I'm raising around 100 of them and have live plants as well as a large resin log they can hide inside of😊
Sounds familiar. XDXD I got my first pet, from a pet shop in a shopping mall somewhere, they were tiger barbs I think, so we bought like, ten, and went home. So, at that time, I had NO idea that dumping fish into like, tap water was harmful. My aunt had like this fishbowl, and I sometimes observed how she cleaned it. She took the fish out and put it into a small container, poured all the water out of the fish bowl, refilled the bowl with TAP WATER, and plopped the fish back into the bowl. (No wonder her fish died soon) And I thought that was how fishkeeping would be. So, back to when we brought the fish back home from the pet store. At that time, I was excited. I couldn't wait for the tank to be filled up with water. We didn't cycle the tank. We didn't really acclimate the fish. We didn't use declorinator. (I live in malaysia so we didn't need heaters) The next day, to my past self's surprise, we found a fish dead, sucked at the filter. Then The next day came, and we found a dead fish with a hole in its stomach. And then the cycle of dead fish kept going and by the end of the week, all the fish were dead. I keep hitting myself whenever I remember what I did. The point is that mistakes were done, and we learned from it.
Not the tiger barbs aa. My dad had like 3 and 2 died and we didn’t replace them (stupidly). The one that was left attacked all the other fish in the tank (even a huge angelfish). So he threw it in with my brothers crayfish and it survived in there for about a year. Since then we have learned a lot about fish and we have a 600 gallon pond with some feeder goldfish in there :)
I can totally relate about the fish. I had a tiny rectangle tank, no filter, no idea how many liters but maybe 10-20. It housed goldfish for a while, Zebra Danios for a bit, and finally White Cloud minnows. They actually did quite well, would lay eggs. And yet I used to take everything out to clean it, lol. The fish would go in an ice cream container with some of the water and I'd only keep maybe 30% of the water and just refill straight from the tap and pop the fish back in. Amazingly, one of my minnows (named Miracle Fish) lived for around 7 years. I definitely attribute the long life to the live plants in the aquarium and not my care, lol.
At least you learnt from your mistakes sooner than my siblings and parents since they consider anyone else that has a different opinion that's actually right crazy. Results 20 pets that lived their lives shorter than expected and 2 that probably could've enjoyed life more if I didn't listen to the pet store or my parents. That's all I'll say.
My pet care mistake that I made for my cat was not getting her a flat enough bowl to eat out of. I just used one of those dog bowls and it made her puke a lot. Then I learned ur supposed to use a shallow bowl for their flat faces and whiskers.
I started using the internet when I was around 6. Didn’t even know what google was back then (yahoo) but I used library books for research. Books were good for general info but not so much for pet care
This reminds me of something 6 year old me did and it's something I've always wanted to make up for We had a buncha pillbugs (rolie-polies, whatever you call them) in the yard so when I got this lil bug enclosure thingy as a gift I decided to grab a bunch of them, gave them some grass, and kept them in there as a little colony of pets.... except I was unaware that they were crustaceans and needed moisture. They dried up overnight and while I was only 6 at the time, I still beat myself up over this mistake. I want to be able to take better care of inverts
This reminds me of all the mistakes I made as a kid. I was given a relatively big (20 l perhaps?) fish bowl with 2 goldfishes for my ¬10th birthday. Luckily I also got a little book for beginners about goldfishes and learned pretty quickly that this is not a decent setup. Few months later for Christmas I asked for a bigger tank and got 60 l, which was still too small, but much better than a fish bowl. The most horrifying thing that I remember was that at the beginning we fed goldfishes with bread.Jeeez. When my poor goldfishes passed, luckily I got a ton of plants and kept smaller tropical fishes. The tank was fine for a few years until I decided to get cardinal tetras and introduced ich, which wiped out most of the fish. Back then I had no clue how to treat it.
The biggest mistake that my dad and I made was during the beginning of Covid we got some plecos for our 55 gallon (208 liters). We didn't ick treat and they a the worst ick we have ever had. unfortunately it did kill all of our fish but we have learned and we ask the place if they are ick treated and take a lot of precautions
Yes! We learn our mistakes, for example, I kept 2 goldfish in a 1 gallon bowl. RIP: Magma and Obsidian Now I own 2 goldfish in a 29 gallon grow out tank, and I’m going to get them a 50 gallon tank when they are big enough. Don’t worry, it’s double filtered, and get water changes every other day.
I got a budgie/parakeet and i didn't know anything. My mom let me get a pet as a surprise and just brought me to the store and told me to pick a animal. I picked a bird. I had a VERY small cage for him. I ended up doing research AFTER already having him and i felt guilty for his small cage but couldn't afford another one. Since his cage was small, he was alloud to free-roam the whole house. UNTIL my mom decided to get a cat. So then i had to keep the bird in my room. Again, he was still aloud to free-roam just only in my room with the door shut. I came back home from school and my bird was not in my room. Apparently my bird had been walking on the floor and walked too close to the door and my cats were able to get him and pull him under the door... He didn't end up surviving because he was too injured but i tried my best to help him. I couldn't. My mom didn't help me help him because he "looked fine". It doesn't matter if he "looks fine" he was still attacked by one of his worst predetors. I knew he wasn't going to survive and im so upset. I miss him 💔
Your mother should have known better and communicated with you and been a proper role model. I'd say this is much more on her than you, due to how she surprise-brought a CAT into a house with a free flighted bird! I'm so sorry this happened and that your bird didn't make it. I know what it's like to hold such an emotional weight about a pet that's passed away 💚 edit: also, her saying your bird "looked fine" and not doing anything to help was horrible! my mother was just like that, and I sadly made many mistakes with my pets when I was growing up due to not knowing better and having negligent parents. I still feel awful about it all, but thankfully I learned so much from all the mistakes and know that I am capable of properly caring for a pet in the future (been thinking of having ratties again or a pigeon, but I want to make sure they can have the best life possible with me and that I'm 100.000% ready and overly researched and prepared)
@@its_the_bird thank you. My mom still doesn't know much about animals. Pretty sure i know a lot more than her and always have to correct her on pet care
I used to have a beta fish and I had it in the smallest tank ever, and one day I accidentally dropped a light in it's tank and it died. I really didn't know how bad I was taking care of it, and I regret not getting it a bigger tank.
Whenever i was like 8 or 9 i got a betta, i didnt research and gave them like less then a gallon (pretty sure) and didnt clean their tank somehow, they died in 2 weeks and now i know how to care for bettas
I just wanted to say yessss the black goldfish with the big eyes, had them was I was a kid and still love them. Will have them one day again and this time with a good setup lol
DUDES THATS SO WEIRD i had a hexagon tank when i was younger too with that same black big eyed goldfish and a silver goldfish and a normal orange one but the hexag on tank was actually quite large(width)
It’s true, making mistakes are ok if you never knew. It’s not bad, you shouldn’t feel bad for that! It helps you learn for life, I’ve done so many mistakes, lost so many birds, dogs, mice. It was sad, but once you learn by your mistakes, you know ( that’s bad ) Oh and- YUKI IS SO CUTEEE MY HEART-🤍
honestly u taught me a lot I been watching ur videos sense I was 12 years old now I’m 13 and I got my birds and fishes over cages my fish tank is ovver 40 gallons for 3 oranda and one red one! they had a 15 gallon tank with I first got m fish tank my bird cages was so tiny so I got 5 budgesis and 3 cockatiels and my dominant silver cockatiel has babies with my lutino cockatiel and they have a really big cage bigger then my closet I really learned a lot about you i free flight my birds but not my budgies buscase I don’t want them to free flight but they free flight in my room it’s really big and my birds has so many toys not any toys that r bad for him like that triangle one ty for helping me a lot my birds r living the best life!
I was at petco with my dog and these people came in looking for like pamphlets on beardies bc they just got one like two weeks ago and it boggles my mind that people get pets and wait that long to educate themselves on care. But also at least they eventually did decide they needed help/information, but also google ? Idk lol I understand making mistakes tho I made plenty with my pup since I got him when I was a kid. The important thing is learning from it ❤️
I honestly think that sometimes people that made mistakes can give better advice than people that never did. If anyone never heard about the survivorship bias: its basically about engineers in ww2 wanting to avoid planes being shot down by putting more armor on them. One might think to look at planes that came back and put armor on the spots that they were shot... But obviously the ones that came back were hit in nonvital spots so it would be better to armor spots none of the surviving aircraft were hit in. Also: A business owner that once failed will be able to not only tell you what to do but also what not to do. The one that made it without throwbacks will only be able to tell you to copy what he did even though his success might be a coincidence or there might be failure in the making still waiting to show its effect.
I still feel bad for the red ear slider my parents got me as a child when I was around five. The little dude lived in one of those plate island things with no heat or uvb. I feel bad to this day ;-;
im still young and i want a ferret but im terrefied from my other animal mistakes i had a parakeet and it was my best friend and recently passed away i loved it but it was still trying to warm up to me.
My first fish was a beta named Maxwell, he had a good sized tank and filter but we didn't have a heater. I'm pretty sure he died of the cold and I feel very bad about it. I was about 7 years old so I didn't know any better and my family didn't research properly either. Someday I'd like to get another betta with a heater this time now that I know more ^^
If all the poor abused and neglected fish and budgies could see your pet mistakes...they would think it was heaven. Honestly you took good care of them for the way most people kept pets then...but we can always aim for better!
Ok, here we go: Keeping a guinea pig alone in a bit suitable cage size and giving him carrots everyday Keeping a turtle in a tiny tank cage with one light (I think it was a heat lamp) and a tiny little pond bowl thing of water that he couldn’t even submerge himself into
Keeping goldfish with live bearers without a heater isn't too bad cause live bearers tend to be able to live in cold water too so that's not the worst thing. Keeping the goldfish in the small tank, yea, no. But making mistakes is part of life. I agree that minnows are underrated. I keep some and I love them
I started watching your videos I think a year ago. I had a four gallon tank with cherry barbs in it, I upgraded it to a ten gallon and I transferred the fish. I started testing my water and now my fish live soooo much longer! I don’t flush my fish anymore. (I throw the passed fish in the woods) I don’t clean it the way I used to, I use a siphon now and I just take out a little over half the water. No hate but I don’t use fake plants anymore, trying to make my tank look like a river or something. Now I have a blue orchid beta fish and he is thriving. I also introduced a black turbo snail into the tank. Thanks for posting and teaching us!
I totally feel that guilt about my pet care when I was a kid, even though they weren't even my pets, they were my dad's and i didn't live with him. But I feel like I should've realized those pets were neglected AT BEST way sooner than I did... Long comment ahead cause there's A LOT of mistakes. My dad always said he loved animals and animals loved him, in my mind he could do no wrong, but thinking back... I remember he had one of those hexagonal tanks just FILLED with fish, it was pretty big but I'm sure it wasn't big enough for all the fish he kept there (and it actually might've been a lot smaller than I remember, since I was very little and when you're little everything looks giant). Then he moved into a much smaller place and got two bettas in one of those shitty tiny Betta tanks that are split in two? I'm p sure it even had a mirror in the middle so they couldn't see each other but they'd still get stressed seeing themselves in the mirror. And we went through fish SO FAST, very few of those bettas lived more than a year. I remember sometimes when my dad opened the lid to feed them one of the bettas would jump in the other's side of the tank and they'd start fighting. Never happened when I was there but sometimes I'd get there and see one of the fish just mauled and that's what he said had happened. I remember he always acclimated the fish and had good filters and did partial water changes often, but I do remember the fish food he used wasn't great (it was one of those that float instead of sinking) and i honestly don't remember him having a heater (not sure if we actually needed one since we're in a tropical climate, but idk it gets really cold sometimes). The fish is just the beginning though, he also got a kitten at some point and he'd just?? Throw the cat upside down to prove he could land on his feet? I'm p sure i copied him a couple times and it makes me feel horrible. We didn't keep the kitten cause he moved w his wife soon after and she already had a cat that didn't do well with other pets, which of course was heartbreaking to me at the time but now I'm really glad (I'm also super allergic to cats and he knew that but got a cat anyway?? I loved the cat and his wife's cat but I always felt sick when I went to his place so that's great childcare on his part too /s). And besides moving in with his wife he also had an a frame cabin that was like, in this farm like place? So he had two dogs there and he hardly ever took him to the vet, one time one of the dogs got really sick and he didn't even notice, someone who worked at that farm place did and took him to the vet instead, then a couple years later the same dog had an accident and lost an eye so my dad just decided to??? Give it away?? Cause he didn't want a disabled dog?? I still can't think about that dog without tearing up tbh, he never even told me where the dog went (or, he did but everytime he did it was a different story, if it wasn't for another person who worked at this farm place corroborating the lost eye story I'd think the dog actually died. That person was fully willing to take care of the dog after the accident btw, my dad just didn't let him). Also a family that lived/worked at the same place had a bunch of dogs and whenever there was an event there (it was kinda like a camp or a retreat), my dad demanded their dogs be locked away in a shitty kennel, and one time one of their dogs, the one i was attached to the most btw, broke his leg and because that family was very poor and like, sorta uneducated, they didn't take him to the vet and let the leg heal on its own, and I BEGGED my dad to take him to the vet and he never did. And there's more! I actually take full responsibility for this part cause I was in my mid teens and definitely should've known better, but he let me get two cats to keep in this farm place, but he kept them mostly outside and one of the cats ran away within less than a year, and the other ran away after a few years (they were both probably killed by wild animals). Honestly I'll never forgive myself for giving him these cats when I already knew what he was like (this was after all the stuff with the dogs). I didn't spend much time with the cats cause shortly after I gave them to my dad he literally disowned me and we didn't talk for years, the next time we talked both the cats were already gone. I'm actually really grateful for my mom, who doesn't even like pets, for teaching me to properly respect animals. She never let me have fish or cats, probably just because she doesn't like them but I know if she'd let me have them they'd have had horrible lives, and she always told me we couldn't have birds cause it's cruel to keep them in tiny cages and clip their wings (which is standard practice in my country). I'm p sure my dad the supposed animal lover had a bird with clipped wings at some point too. It's very ironic that my mom was so much more compassionate to animals than my dad :p she even tried to convince me not to get the cats, I should've listened to her
In middle school I had a black moore goldfish (same goldfish you had which surprised me) and I didn't have filtration or a heater, I also had a fish bowl, which I realize after watching so many of your videos is bad. I also had a frog at one point but I released her (she was originally a tadpole for the wild) because she wouldn't eat with me, though it was probably because I didn't have a heat lamp for her because I didn't know about those back in school.
Thanks for sharing that! It could help people to overcome their feeling of shame and understand that it's the part of the process. The most important thing is to being willing to learn and actually change.
I had my chinchilla in a tiny cage for a while... I had gotten her for free from my aunt who bought several from a breeder. The breeder kept them in breeding cages and told my aunt it's fine. So I got a small cage with her when she was given Me a couple years later. I knew she needed a bigger one but I was 15 and my parents wouldn't listen. Fortunately got a two story cage for her on my 16th birthday, and she's been quite happy with her new life the past 2 years since the upgrade.
When I got my first pair of budgies, even though I did tons of research, we had a small cage. It wasn't the worst... Especially considering that they did get a full day every day of flight time around the room, but I wanted it to be upgraded. (I was a kid then, and I still am, well, I'm 13, but yeah. So you can understand a parent's lack of listening to a kid when they're suddenly asking for an indoor aviary XD) After a while of searching, we found a nice big indoor aviary for free, but it was home of a dead pair of african greys, once. And it was filthy. But I cleaned it for hours every day until it was spotless and safe, and then we built it up. The budgies loved it, and as my sisters were jealous and we now had a decent sized aviary, my parents got them a pair each too. I continued my research, (and I still do!) and not long after we got them nest boxes and did research on breeding. We were successful, without a single runt chick, and had an extra five little budgies. And again, after a few months, I wanted an upgrade. A huge outdoor aviary. But even to me saying that to my parents sounded extreme. But, my father kindly built it, with a little help from me, and now our budgies live happily, since last year, in a nice outdoor aviary. Now, there's a lot to consider when it's outdoors. Making sure it's safe from predators, making sure it's shaded but not freezing, making sure there is enough ventilation and warmth for winter, making sure rodents can't get in. And making sure the budgies get used to it without a blanket over it. Although that sounds a great lot, we managed well. Right now we've had some chicks and most of them have flown the nest. Once they're all old enough we're going to sell the chicks to good homes.
As a 30 yo adult who is an avid pet lover... I also cringe so intensely at how we took care of my childhood pets. Its something I think... the majority of adults feel like now with all our information. I used to have an Iguana, and I loved her so much. Kept her alive for 7 years, but I regret just about everything in the way I took care of her. I was clueless and she did not thrive. When she passed when I was a teenager, and at that time, the internet was becoming more prevalent, I started to actually learn how badly I messed up and It honestly messed me up for a long time. But I totally agree with you. everyone makes mistakes, and it's ok. As long as we learn from those mistakes and choose to grow.
My mistakes: 1. Thinking my cat enjoys loud noises 2. Never deep cleaning my cat's litter boxes 3. Bathing my ball python who is uncomfortable taking baths 4. Feeding my juvenile ball python only once a week
This is probably my fave pet channel! Also I have never seen other channels admit there mistakes before there are probably some though could u do a vid on the pets that are aloud in Newzeland ?
i remember i was maybe 8 and I got a beta fish for Christmas bc I had wanted one but we ended up getting a bowl and legit nothing in it bc the decoration we got was to big for the top. hedidnt live long tbh lets just say tears were shed. the mistake I feel worse for is I not realizing u cant when cleaning his cage I replaced it with tap water and put him in (my mom saw like half a minute after) but yeah that made me feel bad looking back and such
Lovely video I had a bird the same one you had it was blue I kept it in a small cage like the one you had but it was aloud to fly around the house but if I got another bird I would do it a lot better . And I had a fish bowl as well with two gold fish in it it was so bad but now I have two big tank now it’s funny how we learn as we get older but lovely video xxx
hey i got my first phone at 11 and it was also an alcatel onetouch! it had such a small screen that it still used the old texting style that took forever lmao
Hi Soda, I have an important video suggestion. Could you please talk about Canal do Tio Márcio? He's a semi popular Portuguese RUclips channel that frequently and deliberately tortures his hamsters.. He bathes them, scares them, holds them wrong, houses them together, puts them in tiny small cages, and even puts them in jars and ties said jars to remote control cars and helicopters. The Syrian hamsters constantly look sick and have clumpy matted fur. The Dwarf hamsters scream whenever he goes near the cage. The main hamster he bullies is a Dwarf hamster named Newtinho, he squeezes him, trapped him in a box, let his cat hit him, and dropped him multiple times! Newtinho was crying and screaming the whole time.. And in one video he even threw Newtinho.. Multiple Portuguese commenters tell him he's bullying and hurting his hamsters, and how does Canal act? He says it's all "Pretend" and funny, and that he's been caring for Hamsters for years (Yeah right..), he even told someone to self harm themselves because they said he's abusing his animals. I really want RUclipsrs to be aware of him.. He's horrible, takes criticism terribly, and mistreats animals.. Please cover him if you can, but.. I will warn you, it's really hard to watch.. (Sorry, I don't have Instagram or anything so this is the only way I can ask. If you see this then thank you for reading.)
I got my budgies and sadly I kinda impulse bought mine (at the time, technically the other belong to another family member but now is mine too) but we got them a huge flight cage, but really shodve gotten the double because my budgie bully's the other and sadly had to go through a small travel cage at that point where we just absolutely needed a new cage for her because her sis was about to just die probably, my budgie starved and dehydrated the other, the other is now small and will never get bigger and she survived on a little bit of seed, that big cage now houses my cockatiel and both budgies have ok sized cages, 20-17in each
My biggest mistake was adopting our current cat. She's an indoor cat, so I need to clean her litterbox even though we introduced her to our backyard, which was a mistake because she occasionally kills lizards and, one time, a hummingbird. This cat is 12 years old! How did she catch a hummingbird? She also doesn't get along with other cats, demands our attention, is afraid of any other human beings, and only eats one kind of cat food. The previous owner apparently gave her her own bed.
I always regret how small my hamster's cages were when I was a kid, that and their wheels were terrible. They all lived a suprisingly long time for hamsters but they probably weren't very happy, which is awful to think about. I have a dwarf and a syrian now and their quality of life is a LOT better thanks to all the research I did before getting them. Doing research before getting a pet is a lot of fun. I'm considering getting an axolotl one day but I'm waiting until I'm as prepared as I can possibly be before I do.
I am a huge rodent person. I have had guinea pigs and hamsters but I really love mice and Soda inspired me to do my research for them and I have 4 lil mice 2 females - Elaina and Milk 2 males - Kylo and Atlas I 100 percent believe Small pets are the most neglected and I hope more people do their research so their animals can be happy
Making pet mistakes are apart of pet care You may think some animals are easy to take care of but that's not always the case currently I own snails and isopods and a single worm(dont ask why one worm) and I thought it was gonna be easy it's not as easy you have to have the right humidity, enough dirt to burrow, and climbing space along with cleaning frequently cause of the poop (snails poop quite a bit) I've also had so many fish and I'm pretty sure my tank was overstocked and from your channel I've definatly learned and want to try again with a beta fish and I have been asking for awhile too I've also wanted some gecko and snake We have one tank we keep running it's been running for years and is definatly cycled it use to be our overstocked tank with 2 clownfish and a small yellow fish(got eatin in the first month = c) but is definatly fit for a new fish to come along Right now I have alot of plants and just my snails isopods a worm and my cat tweeter so who knows maybe I'll get a fish soon
so the things ive done wrong is for a hamster where i didnt get a suitable cage for him and later on i started watching victoria raechel and also soda pets and i relised that my pet care was bad, that was long time after he passed and that i noticed that he chewed the bars which is a sign of stress which i didnt know back then and i am willing to improve my pet care if i get a new pet, im so sorry for my hamster. Also kinda emberassing but i dont think we even had a name for the hamster and i really feel bad i didnt know this stuff and that i could have given him a better home and more love.
While we talk abt mistakes, hamster balls. Hamster balls are rlly bad BUT there is a way to use them. ✨rats✨ You can put them in a ratcage (aslong as it cant move/roll and has enough space) for rats to sleep in. This idea was from pinterest and in my opinion its a good use for a hamster ball.
When I was really really little my family got a batta fish for pets mart and we left it in the cup it came in and it died 1 week later its so sad but I didn't know better
I also made bad things…. I had two bunnies both were boys. They fighted so we separated them. They were so sad and only and stopped to eat. One Day the first one got killed by a fox and the second one got killed by a rat. I was a bad pet owner I know but I was 7 and now I am really sorry.
If you can't give advice because you've made mistakes, who can?
You're doing great for informing people, especially young people, on animal care!
@@waitwhat2691 Sometimes when you research it's fake
@@waitwhat2691 I know you're not talking to me but how will you research properly? There's lies all over the internet so you really can't. Maybe instead of researching the vet part is more better. They can tell you more things than the internet. So there's really no way to research properly.
@@waitwhat2691 Even animal books might not be true any site might give fake info
First of all, we love a Queen who doesn't pretend to be perfect and sets insane standards🙌🏼 thank you for being open and honest and showing people that learning is possible❤️
Second: how is your hair so flawless????
I had those horis duel tanks for beta fish.
It won’t actually hurt your fish to have colorful gravel or Sponge Bob decor. It doesn’t look natural but as long as you give them enough room, places to hide and practice good tank maintenance and proper feeding the decor doesn’t really matter. It’s really a personal preference.
@@Sullivanin Ok good to know!
@@Sullivanin Hi, the Spongebob tank decor is just a little joke as we know how much SodaPets really dislikes them :). A lot of inexperienced kids like myself had them but we all know that it wont hurt the fish.
My first mistake was not training my budgie. She passed away last month but I just loved her SO MUCH, she was the best little thing I had in my life💗
But because I didn't really train her(she only knew how to step up and step off) she was a bit crazy and angry..
But I still loved her and new bird owners, I really recomend training your birds. They are extremely smart and youtube has louds of videos on how to do that:))
Have a great day💕💕💗
Honestly this makes me enjoy their videos even more!
(They also moved to a better cage when we started doing research , forgot to mention that)
A week ago , one of them died at 7 years of age.
Marbles who lived 2nd longest at maybe almost a year or 2, then the two me and my sister got for Christmas lasted about 2-5 months my lasted longer cause I had my room at a consistent temperature and her's was freezing 80% of the time, funnily enough I also had colorful gravel(and flat marbles at one point-) and a SpongeBob house, it's like those two things haunt first time/unknowing fish keepers
I feel so bad for those fish, I'm pretty sure all three of mine lived in the same one too cause we've only ever had that one until the last two cause then we had 2 bowls
If I ever get another fish, ofc after doing research, I will definitely be taking better care of it and possibly spoil it with the biggest tank I can afford with all the necessities. Going to be a while though
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk of my fish keeping mistakes
I also had that same Kmart tank 😓 It actually ended up coming in handy when my guppies had babies & I didn't want my turtle to eat them. I ended up breeding guppies by accident.
There is no such thing as someone who doesn’t make mistakes so if making mistakes means we can’t give advice then no one would ever be able to give advice, including professionals
I love when her birds do her intro it is the cutest thing in the world. Where do you get cockatiels?
Your videos have actually helped me loads. I had my betta in a 3.5 gallon tank, but got him in a 10 gallon after watching your video's, and he seems genuinely happier.
Its good that you learn from your mistakes, as you can tell other people how not to make mistakes.
I mean, I wouldn't really expect a 7 yr old to know all the do's and don'ts of animal care, that's mainly on the parents
When i was 9 or 10 i got 2 budgies in a travel cage.
That’s awesome! My family owns about 20 goldfish in our pond! I hope you can eventually get him some buddies!
I think those "mistakes" were pretty normal and common back in the days before the internet. And people didn't see anything wrong with it. Back in the days i also fed my birds only seeds
You seem very normal and not pretentious (unlike other you tubers) And I love animals !!! Subscribed. 😁
Wanna add a cockatiel to my mini aviary soon.
(No wonder her fish died soon)
And I thought that was how fishkeeping would be. So, back to when we brought the fish back home from the pet store. At that time, I was excited. I couldn't wait for the tank to be filled up with water. We didn't cycle the tank. We didn't really acclimate the fish. We didn't use declorinator. (I live in malaysia so we didn't need heaters)
The next day, to my past self's surprise, we found a fish dead, sucked at the filter.
Yuki: turns to the camera after whistling the tune "I did good"
At least you learnt from your mistakes sooner than my siblings and parents since they consider anyone else that has a different opinion that's actually right crazy. Results 20 pets that lived their lives shorter than expected and 2 that probably could've enjoyed life more if I didn't listen to the pet store or my parents. That's all I'll say.
question: do you ever get a lot of feathers around the house or is that not how birds work cause I am no expert
I think those black goldfish are also called black moores, I have 4 in my tank since they were little babies I love them!
This reminds me of something 6 year old me did and it's something I've always wanted to make up for
We had a buncha pillbugs (rolie-polies, whatever you call them) in the yard so when I got this lil bug enclosure thingy as a gift I decided to grab a bunch of them, gave them some grass, and kept them in there as a little colony of pets.... except I was unaware that they were crustaceans and needed moisture.
My budgie sitting in the corner like. “I don’t have a phone!”
People need to get over themselves. Making mistakes is a part of life.
RIP: Magma and Obsidian
Now I own 2 goldfish in a 29 gallon grow out tank, and I’m going to get them a 50 gallon tank when they are big enough.
I miss him 💔
Not only what mistake ypu also made a mistake having a cat and a bird then you know the cat isnt tamed and will eat the bird
@@-Tinylittletaxmoney- i didn't want a cat after getting a bird. My mom didn't tell me she was getting a cat. I didn't know
@@SaschaJaniceLucia oh okay sorry i didnt know
Your mother should have known better and communicated with you and been a proper role model. I'd say this is much more on her than you, due to how she surprise-brought a CAT into a house with a free flighted bird! I'm so sorry this happened and that your bird didn't make it. I know what it's like to hold such an emotional weight about a pet that's passed away 💚
edit: also, her saying your bird "looked fine" and not doing anything to help was horrible! my mother was just like that, and I sadly made many mistakes with my pets when I was growing up due to not knowing better and having negligent parents.
Well now I know why my buggies (who are named buddy and Stella but I sometimes call her Stella Bella) go crazy when ever we give them honey sticks
I still feel bad for the red ear slider my parents got me as a child when I was around five. The little dude lived in one of those plate island things with no heat or uvb. I feel bad to this day ;-;
im still young and i want a ferret but im terrefied from my other animal mistakes i had a parakeet and it was my best friend and recently passed away i loved it but it was still trying to warm up to me.
My first fish was a beta named Maxwell, he had a good sized tank and filter but we didn't have a heater. I'm pretty sure he died of the cold and I feel very bad about it. I was about 7 years old so I didn't know any better and my family didn't research properly either. Someday I'd like to get another betta with a heater this time now that I know more ^^
Omg Your cockatiels are so cute! ❤🐦
If all the poor abused and neglected fish and budgies could see your pet mistakes...they would think it was heaven. Honestly you took good care of them for the way most people kept pets then...but we can always aim for better!
Ok, here we go:
Keeping a guinea pig alone in a bit suitable cage size and giving him carrots everyday
Keeping a turtle in a tiny tank cage with one light (I think it was a heat lamp) and a tiny little pond bowl thing of water that he couldn’t even submerge himself into
Keeping goldfish with live bearers without a heater isn't too bad cause live bearers tend to be able to live in cold water too so that's not the worst thing.
I got an axolotl this month and it’s tanks 105l is that okay for axolotl
It should be fine just keep in mind that they need more floor space than height so avoid tanks that are taller than it is long.
Thanks for sharing that! It could help people to overcome their feeling of shame and understand that it's the part of the process. The most important thing is to being willing to learn and actually change.
I loved animal jam when I was younger
Oh The mistakes I made well owning a fish.. same with chickens for the fish we had a bowl with tap water with nothing in it🥲 not even a filter
When I was six I kept my betta in a tank that wasn’t even 1 gallon with no heater or filtration
I think ai have once seen those hexagon tanks with a seahorse in it
When I got my first pair of budgies, even though I did tons of research, we had a small cage.
My mistakes:
1. Thinking my cat enjoys loud noises
2. Never deep cleaning my cat's litter boxes
3. Bathing my ball python who is uncomfortable taking baths
4. Feeding my juvenile ball python only once a week
This is probably my fave pet channel! Also I have never seen other channels admit there mistakes before there are probably some though could u do a vid on the pets that are aloud in Newzeland ?
I'm so frustrated I cannot find those bigger hexagons now. They are perfect for seahorses lol
i remember i was maybe 8 and I got a beta fish for Christmas bc I had wanted one but we ended up getting a bowl and legit nothing in it bc the decoration we got was to big for the top. hedidnt live long tbh lets just say tears were shed. the mistake I feel worse for is I not realizing u cant when cleaning his cage I replaced it with tap water and put him in (my mom saw like half a minute after) but yeah that made me feel bad looking back and such
I’m younger than 13 and I love your videos it helps me learn how to take care of my fish
Soda pets doesn’t make mistakes
I am a huge rodent person. I have had guinea pigs and hamsters but I really love mice and Soda inspired me to do my research for them and I have 4 lil mice
2 females - Elaina and Milk
2 males - Kylo and Atlas
I 100 percent believe Small pets are the most neglected and I hope more people do their research so their animals can be happy
Making pet mistakes are apart of pet care
You may think some animals are easy to take care of but that's not always the case currently I own snails and isopods and a single worm(dont ask why one worm) and I thought it was gonna be easy it's not as easy you have to have the right humidity, enough dirt to burrow, and climbing space along with cleaning frequently cause of the poop (snails poop quite a bit)
I've also had so many fish and I'm pretty sure my tank was overstocked and from your channel I've definatly learned and want to try again with a beta fish and I have been asking for awhile too I've also wanted some gecko and snake
We have one tank we keep running it's been running for years and is definatly cycled it use to be our overstocked tank with 2 clownfish and a small yellow fish(got eatin in the first month = c) but is definatly fit for a new fish to come along
Right now I have alot of plants and just my snails isopods a worm and my cat tweeter so who knows maybe I'll get a fish soon
You have an butiful albino bird!
so the things ive done wrong is for a hamster where i didnt get a suitable cage for him and later on i started watching victoria raechel and also soda pets and i relised that my pet care was bad, that was long time after he passed and that i noticed that he chewed the bars which is a sign of stress which i didnt know back then and i am willing to improve my pet care if i get a new pet, im so sorry for my hamster.
The first was completely your parent's responsibility, i don't know why you include it at all, you shouldn't be blamed for it.
I also made bad things….
I had two bunnies both were boys. They fighted so we separated them. They were so sad and only and stopped to eat. One Day the first one got killed by a fox and the second one got killed by a rat. I was a bad pet owner I know but I was 7 and now I am really sorry.
I like your Bart Simpson birds
