I had a feeling that's what was going on in the beginning, but the longer the story went on that thought faded away only to be confirmed right at the end. Absolutely top-notch story and narration!

Alot of pumpkin stories from all the narrating channels today. Is it jack-o-lantern day or something? Either way this story wins by a pumpkin landslide with the gigantic eldrich Jack-o-lanter god. The super realist VR game and plant zombies were the icing on this whale of a pumpkin cake. Bravo! Well done. I think this one has alot of potencial to be a greater story. Weather as a on going story about others being lured to playing this tramatizing game, to the game verse pulling past players back into the game world, to becoming its new zombies in its world later after losing in the game, and even a endless groundhog's day senario. So much possible fates of woe for those unfortunate to be fooled into playing....

Reading the story before hearing the narration gives such a different esperience. All of the fun little things you catch afer hearing it for a second time makes it so much more exciting. Great job both of you!

Having been in the military makes it hard to listen to this story. Whoever wrote the story doesn't know that much about weapons.
One of the overpenetration rounds had one gun been enough to keep the hallway clear? Or do they just stopped after hitting a Target unless it's background damage
Oh and I say this hoping I don't sound like a sicaphant (pardon my spelling) but bloody good reading old boy, like I once said storytelling is an important cultural medium, from the Viking sagas to what now are children's nursery rhymes, all had roots in navigation, knowing when to plant crops and everything really, going back to pre middle ages most peasants couldn't read or write so songs and tales were a way to remember information and to pass it down to next generation, it is said that there was a song for making swords, the actual song kept the timing for heating and beating the steel into a sword, same with bakers, the timing of songs ofr the duration of a story was a way of making sure the bread was baked properly.
