And these are just 3 stories, there are countless more, me being one of them. I wish Chester knew how much he helped and inspired people, even after his death. I heard of Linkin Park for the first time in 2017 after what happened, when I saw a cover of In The End that was made in his memory. It wasn't until 2019, almost 2 years after his death, that i actually started listening to their music, and Grey Daze too. And still, he has helped me so much- when I need to let out emotions, I put on his music and use that as an excuse to scream along with him; when I don't know how to express my thoughts and feelings, there he comes with the perfect words that match me; when I have a panic attack, his voice is one of the only things that help calm me down; but most importantly, his story saved my life. A few months ago I was suicidal, and I was a moment away from ending my life, but then I thought of you guys, and Talinda, and Mike and everyone else, and asked myself: "do I really want my friends to go through what they're going through right now?" Obviously, the answer was no, and that inspired me to change my life. I reached out for help, and started working on myself, and I'm in a much better place now thanks to him.
I got to see linkin Park live in 2008 , I got Chester to sign my T-shirt it sits proudly in a picture frame on my front room wall with all my CD albums with Chester around it . In the end & B12 are my favourites 🙃🏴
For me as a person who wanted to find a band or singer that fill in that void of music that is in your face telling you how you feeling and just don't care where anyone else said *** the world and just be rebellious and that's what Chester was he was rebelling everything and honestly that drove me into his music and I felt Satisfied and I thought this is the man that I'm going to follow for so many years to come I'm going to meet this man I'm going to shake hands with him tell him how much I truly love his music tell him how much I truly want him do Different types of genres for the Linkin Park records and do more solo records as well I thought I was going to meet him in a couple of years and I think we would have been good friends because we would have keep on meeting each other every time he would have come down to San Diego I miss you brother rip i see you other side
He didnt die in vain , his death got us all talking and that will save lives so if any good can come from such tragedy it will stop these things from happening in the future.
I think the reason so many people love Chester is because the songs are all so relatable on a personal level.
This should be broadcast to everyone. I've come here to pay my respects to Chester on the day he left us 6 yrs ago. 🕊️
Thank you guys. You have great music and a great new album. Thanks a lot for Chester, too. From Russia with love.
