We do note booking , but I’ve found my younger kids like lap booking more. We currently alternate between both. I usually have them do notebooking for a picture book recap or RUclips video that is a rabbit trail on our unit. We do lapbooks with our units and they get to organize it and create art for it.
How do you incorporate it into your schedule? Do you just say ok it’s notebooking time and they just pick whatever they want? And work on it as long or little they want?

We absolutely love Notebooking. We did it with the Dinosaurs unit from Gather Round and we hope to do it with some the the continent units.
